I was greeted by an employee named Corn, today, 2/02/2026, in the back of the store. He walked up to me and asked if there was anything he could help me with. I told him what I was looking for, and he led me to it. He asked what else I needed, and I told him I was going to a certain dept., and he walked with me and made sure I found what I was looking for. He continued asking what else he could help me with. I finally had to ask him if this was a new program or if he was hired to do what he was doing. Providing exceptional customer service is what he was providing, not just pointing me and going back to wandering around, as most of them do. I was totally impressed with his attitude and desire to provide exceptional customer service. I asked the lady on the way out how I could get in touch with the manager to share my experience, and she wasn't sure. read more

Ok here is my deal. The 8th of October I purchased a 6.8 ounce single serving can of peas and carrots. The day I cook those peas and carrots I found what I believe worth feces. So I took it to the Walmart customer service they filed a claim and of course they took the peas with the poop in it. Oh they were quick to respond determining in less than 48 hours that it was corn cob that was cooked within the can before it's labeled. I don't know what it was it look like shit to me. Now let me tell you about today. Made my lunch this AM. Basic sandwich. Used the bread I purchased, when I had the chance to eat I discovered my bread was covered in mode on the lower crust. I reached out to Walmart. Man they don't care So when you go to that Walmart be careful what you buy you can't see the bottom of that bread in that loaf bag due to the colors. There is a clear preference for checkouts that are not self check. Unfortunately, even with long lines at the only 2 lines open and empty self check stations, Wal-Mart refuses to open more checkout lanes. Unfortunately customer service is not a priority. Will shop elsewhere next time. It may cost a little more but the time savings will more than make up for it. read more

This was my first visit to the Belton Walmart. Overall not bad they had more options for certain products and decent levels of stock versus the Georgetown Walmart. The Store was busy but we were able to get in and out fairly quick, finding everything we needed for that particular trip. read more

Terrible Mangers at this store named Belen and Charlotte. My wife's car had four new tires put on with road hazard. She has a 5 star review with pictures of tires. Which she will take down now. They entered the wrong number for one tire which was the faulty tire. Talked with irrational manger Belen first. She claimed road hazard for only one tire was missing, the faulty tire did not match. I told her I bought all 4 at the very same time. She said they would not honor warranty. I asked to talk to another manger, her name was Charlotte. I said how would I get 4 identical tires with same tread wear??? Obviously an employee entered the wrong number! They did not listen basically calling me a liar. Horrible mangers at this store. Very unreasonable mangers at Belton Walmart. Unless you basically like being called a liar over and over. Then have have your warranty nullified by hard headed mangers. Do yourself a favor avoid these irrational lunatics mangers at this store. Rational thought needed for management at Belton Walmart. Who is going to replace a tire that has a warranty for replacement? No one. I've been to my share of Walmart's over the years. Some good and some really bad. However, this one doesn't make me cringe at the thought of going in. It is tucked away from the main highway. So if you're not familiar with little cozy town of Belton; you wouldn't know it existed. This Walmart is not overly crowded and the lines are never really long. They usually have plenty of registers open especially on Military payday and Sunday's. The store is very clean and not disheveled. The associates here actually assist you and not run the other way. The people are normally friendly each time I've been here. Honestly, compared to some other Walmart's this is their hidden gem. I've also gotten my oil change here. No issues or problems. One time it was pouring down rain. And my car had already been pulled out of the bay into the elements. So I'm standing with my groceries looking at my car. Just as I was about to make a run for it. One of the crew member offered to pull the car back in the bay and helped me load my groceries. My only negative is the pharmacy. I just wish they would be more informative when prescription are out of stock. But other than that the store is nice. read more

If I could give minus star, I would do it. Thiis Walmart store does not care about their disabled customers. I got a power chair/basket that said it was charged, but got half way through a couple if isles, and itnwent dead. I finally after a long wait, got someones attention that worked there andd ask them if they could get me a basket that was sharged up as i am totally disabled. he did go to thyee front, however returned to tell me there were n no power vaskets avaliable. . he did not even bring or offer to bring a regular basket for me to at least hang on to so i could get my groceries, to the checkout, or tell me they would bring a motor cart, when it came avaliable. and left me stranded. so I finally had to hang on to the shelves so i could exit the store, without my stuff, and take a chance of falling on the hot pavement. I even informed the greeter, of the situation, where there was no concern for my safety. so i will not be buying my merchandize at this dump anyu more, and by the way, they have only been running one check out regestern with extra long lines. which there is no help. so after many years of shopping there this will be the last place I go to buy my groceries. At least HEB will give us dissabled folks the help we need. Every time i have got a bad basket that was not charged up, they immediatly came and changed it out, and transferred all my groceries to the other basket. Shame on you Walmart. I assist my father in law with his grocery shopping. He used his food card and I assumed it was accepted. I paid for what I thought was the balance for the non food items. The cashier never mentioned his card was not accepted. I look at my bank account online and see my card was charged for the full amount of his groceries plus the balance. I called customer service and was told the only way to correct it was to return all of the items for credit and they would run them through again. I would hope this type of problem would lead to better training or discipline but the customer service agent didn't seem too concerned. I always brag about the local businesses and especially the VA in Temple because although the buildings are nice, it's the people that make them so wonderful. WM Belton failed this time. read more

I only gave 1 star because at least I got most of my shopping done.I was there and ready to check out by 1130am,only had 2 cashiers working,lines all the way back to clothing isles,finally the assistant manager,female,got on a register.when we finally were checking out I ask her why there weren't more open and she said they didn't have enough trained people to run the registers,so I asked about the three walmart employees that were standing in the vegetable area just standing there chatting when 1 was a CSM and the other 1 checked me out last week.Maybe the assistant manager should be spoken to because she sure can't run a store and she can't speak the truth because she told the lady before me that there weren't enough customers in the store.2 people same question,different answer.That's ok HEB is across the street for next monday read more

I buy Walmart deli food here in Salem, Ohio often, So in Oct. when I was visiting my sister in Belton I ran over to their Walmart to pickup a roasted chicken and some pizzas. NO WAY !!! Every one of their chickens were BLACK and legs shriveled up to nothing, can't believe they would even put them out to their customers. The pizzas even though it was close to dinner were cooked over 3hrs ago and totally dried out. When I was told come back in 20 min they would do fresh pizza I came back in 30 min was told they hadn't done it because someone had shut off stove. I've been all over Texas this is the worse Walmart I have ever been too ! Didn't buy anything from deli and they had made me so mad left my cart and went to the HEB store. I have been with this storage company for about 10 months and everything was great, until recently. I am in the military so I currently do not live in Texas as I am in Washington DC, which is an hr ahead. So I always call to pay my bill which I have been doing so the last 2 months ON TIME. I received my bill today stating I owe 80 for the bills I haven't paid the past 3 months with late fees added. So I called and calmly told them I have called and showed proof with my phone history saying I called and spoke to someone for 2 minutes! He received my screenshot and said he noticed the time was 4:44 as they close at 4:00 and stated that I misted left a voicemail... I told him I am an hr ahead and my phone always show the time I called. He said he didn't believe me and he would not take off the late charges and began to argue and yell at me which was not necessary. Please do not give this storage company your business! He had no problem taking out my 80 when somehow they didn't take my money these past couple months. read more
