By far the worst Target in the area. I hate leaving one star reviews, but when an employee physically pushes their way through you, rolling their eyes and mouthing that they can't get any work done...I feel like a bad review is well deserved. I decided that I didn't want an item from the Bullseye section (the little section near the front that changes seasonally), so I put it back exactly where I found it, exactly where I assumed it went. It had the name and price label so I set it back down. This employee barrels towards me, rips the item up and chunks it into their little cart. What makes this even worse is the fact that another employee approached their floor manager about this employee and the manger said "No, you know how she gets, just let her finish..." So obviously this is not a rare occurrence. Aside from rude employees, the store is always under stocked, cluttered with boxes of merchandise, and generally dirty. Definitely won't stop here anymore, I'll drive to a different Target for now on. read more

I don't usually leave reviews, in fact I created an account just to leave my very first review. This experience at Target today around noon was just ridiculous & RUDE. I have low blood sugar so I decided to get a drink at the concession since I wasn't feeling well. The cashier at the concession was moving painfully slow on purpose, literally dragging every item like they had all day just to push my buttons. It was so obvious they were being petty for no reason. After I paid for my drink he wouldn't hand me a cup to even get my drink, keep in mind I feel like I'm going to pass out anytime. I stood there and waited, once I asked politely again if I could get a cup he rolled his eyes, went to wash his hands, got a new paper towel roll just to dry his hands, got new gloves, filled up the popcorn machine, then handed me a cup FINALLY with butter from the popcorn machine all over the entire cup. If you hate your job PLEASE QUIT!! What would've happened if I passed out waiting? All I needed was a drink. read more

Seriously have the worst manager Customer Service spent $450 today they had three checkouts do it yourself but couldn't do it because I had more than 10 items and they have one checker for six people in line full carts when we asked to see the manager it took him forever to get upfront When he finally arrived, he had nothing helpful to say just deer in a headlight look. read more

Horrid experience with curbside tonight. Don't waste your time if you actually need grocery items. When I unpacked my car, I discovered the eggs I needed for breakfast were not in my trunk; instead, there was a gallon of whole milk. When I called, I was told to return to the store, a 15min drive, & they would bring out my eggs. Not helpful at all when it's raining & you have a severely autistic son who cannot be left unsupervised. I have always preferred Target over Walmart, but I may have to rethink my priorities in the future. read more

4 stars! Clean store and definitely not busy. I didn't have to fight off busy moms for parking in the parking lot. Nice selection of stuff. I feel like they have a nice selection since it doesn't look picked over. Targets pretty much all have the same stuff, right?! It helps when they still have your size and everything is not gone. Why not give them 5 stars? Unfortunately, at 6:30pm on a Saturday they only had two check out lanes. I had to look twice to see if I was getting punked or was this in preparation of being a meme on Instagram. The cashier was super cool and nice. That part made it better! Usually in rushes like that I would totally understand if the cashier is frazzled. Nope! She was so friendly. She didn't avoid eye contact like most cashiers do when they are in a hurry. Very clean Target, great selection of food, clothes, shoes, etc. There are usually plenty of lines open and the cashiers are relatively fast in checking people out. Manager isn't very friendly though and she tried to charge me for toddler clothes hangers. read more

Always love shopping here. The store is always clean and well-staffed. Everyone is always willing to help me. I even get my prescriptions filled inside because the CVS staff are all super considerate and make a point of remembering my name. I have some health issues which make it difficult to move anything heavy but I needn't worry here because someone is always willing to help. No one is perfect so that's not something I anticipate or expect. I just appreciate the effort they always make. It's the employees that make it a pleasure to shop here. read more

Target was the go-to place for when I was in college. Now, located next to some of my other favorite stores like Best Buy and Specs, this place has great products for those on a budget or those who are The thrifty shopper. However, Temple is a small town so they don't necessarily get and influx of customers all the time. My one complaint is the lack of check out cashiers. Been a few times where I was in a rush and only two registers are open and 30 people need to check out. Overall, fairly clean store and staff is friendly. read more

I guess i'll give it a star because i have to, but oh my gosh. Most disgusting target i've been in. The bathrooms are horrible, two toilets were both clogged and overflowing, there was trash everywhere in the restrooms. Then when we were shopping there was a HUGE cockroach if it was even a cockroach. It was huge bigger then my thumb. I almost stepped on it then it scurried off and went into the kids clothes section. I don't ever want to shop here again, it was dirty everywhere and barely and associates at all, i understand its a holiday but dang. One afternoon I almost had an overweight staff member try to tackle me while purchasing 2 Gatorades in the self check out aisle. I swiped the items at the first machine which happened to not be working and immediately went to the next machine. Right before I scanned my items I heard someone run up behind me. I turned around and saw 2 staff members, one (a 300 to 350 obese woman) right behind me. Once they realized their mistake both started laughing like it was a joke. I called the store manager working that day to inform her what had happened. She apologized and then sarcastically told me to have a nice day. If this is how this establishment is going to treat veterans, I will never spent another dime here. I guess at this store racially profiling customers is funny and a game, STAY AWAY! read more

Poor. Poor customer service. Long story short, I've been searching for an item for my son for months (since toys r us had it, but closed) and I see that this target has it in stock. So I drive up there and look, to find nothing. No big deal, i was mentally prepared for it to not be there, because I know the app and actual in store inventory could be off. The problem was the help I received or lack there of. After asking the gentleman if he could just check in the back to see if it's there, he said they are not allowed to. That the leaders of target get mad if they go in the back and search for items. I was taken back by that statement. You arent allowed to assist your customers? As he could see that I was growing visibly angry for the lack of effort he was giving me, he told me he could go back and take a look "for a minute". I'm SO sorry I'm expecting people to do their jobs. I declined any further assistance from this guy, as I know he would have just went to the back and not looked and then would have just came out to tell me he couldn't find it. I'm so angry about the lack of care this guy had....not even target itself, because every other person that passed me, said hi or how are you.. BUT on a bright note, he did suggest that I could just order it online.....you mean instead of you actually looking in the back for me, I should just order it online?!? Its 2018, I know I can order it online, but I came here because it said it was in stock and I needed it now, not in 14 business days. Get better help Target. Awful always a mess no matter what day of the week or what time of day. Can't ever find anything where it's supposed to be in the clothing departments. Only ever has one or two lanes open for check out. Only section worth looking at is the front dollar isle. Managers are rude employees are rude. Hate going here. I love this store, the only reason I deducted a star was because no matter what time or how busy it is they only have a maximum of 2 registers open. Sometimes you spend more time in line than shopping! Great store (although occasionally messy/disorganized) but if you're pressed for time, avoid the annoyance of long lines. read more

I love Target but will NEVER shop at the Temple Target again.The incompetencies and laziness of the staff are just unprecedented. First, the cashier refused to help me apply a discount from the cartwheel app, carelessly bagged my greeting cards so that they were all bent and destroyed at the bottom of the bag, and then knocked my phone off of the counter and onto the floor with not so much as an apology. Beyond rude... it was apparent that he was unhappy about having to work on Memorial Day (boo f-ing hoo). Irritated and still wanting my discount, I went to customer service. The gal helped me return and repurchase the items with the cartwheel discount. However, when I saw my credit card statement, I was charged twice for my items. I called the store to clear this up, and the customer service manager was insistent that she could not see a void/return receipt and that I would have to come in person with all my receipts to prove to her that I deserve my $114 back... even after giving her the reference numbers on all receipts. Apparently that wasn't good enough. As I was about to leave work and come into the store, she called me again and said not to come in and to call a hotline instead. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. As a customer service manager, do not pawn me off to a call center. So unhelpful and SO dismissive. MESSAGE TO THE GM - clean house and hire a new staff. There are plenty of people in Temple who would be happy to have a job here and would do it with pride and respect. Your current staff are a horrible representation of your company. read more

It's your typical target! This one is located conveniently off the highway & next to some great shops. I like checking out the clearance racks & the shoes. This store is usually very clean & stays busy, not Walmart busy but steady. The popcorn is perfect, most of the time. No complaints about this store. read more

Unfortunately, I must agree with the "Mollie L." review of 9.20-2013. I used to be a fan of this store. It used to be clean, convenient, helpful, etc. In the last couple of months or so things have been disappointing. Rude staff. A "high-school-clique" mentality seems pervasive amongst the people running the place now. The very helpful people I used to see are no longer there. Very sad. The final straw, and the reason for this critique, was when I went to the customer service desk to ask for change and the person behind the counter just vigorously shook her head and kept saying "No. No, we can't do that. Nope..." She continued to say "no" to my face with no explanation as to why (until she was done with her demonstration) and offered no options nor alternatives. Very strange and off-putting. Typical as of late though. My wife was standing behind me and confirmed that I wasn't making this scenario up. The exchange was so obvious, strange and rude that she (my wife) asked me if I wanted to continue shopping right then because of the this incident. I said no. And that is how I feel to this day. Sorry Temple Target. Appreciated all you had to offer when you were more pleasant and helpful. I'm now driving to Harker Heights. Hope you get some training in dealing with your customers in a better fashion.
