Not sure what was on the box from HEB...
    LaRon E.

This is my HEB I ha e been going here for around 4 years.. They have recently renovated the store which makes it looks more modern and fleet. Normally the store is well stoked with my favorites but as of late that hasn't been the case... The service or customer service is always on point........ Thenreason for the 1 star is because I bought a 10 pack Mini Dr Pepper, not noticing anything strange about the product when I put it into my basket .. When I got home and started to unload my groceries I felt something very sticky on my hand, well after getting into the house I noticed that the DR pepper had some foreign substance on the bottom, that went all across the bottom, as you can see in the picture.. I'm upset because it got unto my brand new white shirt and my car ba k seat...

It was disappointing to see that my order was cut using a dirty slicer. I guess I looked sturdy enough to successfully battle foodborne illness because the team member had every opportunity to not give me that. The manager was kind and said that my order was likely sliced using a slicer that previously cut pastrami, which isn't an excuse. Be advised to check your order before leaving the store.

Wow.... pardon all of the big inconveniences while we remodel! Shopping carts are across the drive and down one of the parking aisles. Way down one of the parking aisles. That would be a HUGE bummer in the rain. It wasn't helpful in the frigid temps I was specifically looking for the coffee aisle for filters.... and finally figured out after much walking that was the aisle which was in no way marked. There is nothing fluid about this HEB.... and extremely congested at the front. HEB....you can do a lot better... even when you're remodeling.

    The small bird from H-E-B.

Has anyone else noticed how small the rotisserie chickens have gotten at H-E-B? I can understand supply chain issues but they should communicate it with customers and let us to decide if we want to purchase such a small bird. I'm a huge H-E-B fan, but I drive by Costco everyday and there birds have not shrunk in size.

It's my first time at this convenient location, I believe. I was passing through town and needed a few essentials. One was a bolillo roll. It kind of looks like a torpedo roll and it tasted fresh. The manager was very kind to ask the bakery lady (no name tag, too bad, she was so sweet) were there any single rolls left. HEB usually collects them at the end of the day and sells them in bags. She volunteered to open a bag just so that I could have one. I was kind of worried that they made accommodations for me, but they said they make a new product when the bulk bag is off count. But still, that was very nice of her. The manager also showed me where they're healthier living section is. I was impressed that they had the bulk self serve which I hadn't seen yet in the Austin area, and this is a small store compared to many I have been to. The advantage of a small store is you can shop faster. While I was there I picked up some herbs and treats. They tasted fresh, except the squares which looked like is a local favorite, because it is half gone in the dispenser. The cashier was very sweet and asked if I wanted a bag. I said yes thinking I'd get a regular shopping bag, but he gave me a nice reusable one. It will come in so handy later. I hope some day they will carry single boxed juices in grape flavor. I noticed that they did have a Glacier Water vending machine outside for 40 cent refills which isn't bad at all. Other than that, I think this is a nice store that is trying to become a better store. I will not hesitate to come back based on the service.

The store is small in comparison to other HEB's, parking lot chaotic, shopping carts very old, and selection is minimal.

There is 2 hour validated parking under the building so you can shop without worry. I consistently come here for the TJ brand of Greek yogurt with fat and honey flavor, and for their canned sparkling wines which I just personally find fun. The staff are always friendly, true to the TJ culture. And the little area around outside is cute and nice to get a snack or some dessert nearby.

Well, this is probably the best TJ's in the Austin area due its size and variety of healthy, eco-friendly products, so if you've not yet had the pleasure to visit, here's why you should: 1. Yes, it's in downtown at Seaholm but you get 1 hour of free, validated, protected garage parking right outside the basement doors. When you come in the garage, go forward and loop around to the left side to reach the marked TJ spaces. In 2025, you validate by entering your license plate number in the Metropolis kiosk - it's a breeze. 2. Bring an insulated bag for frozen items. TJ's has an impressive selection of high quality frozen seafood and prepared meals, appetizers, sides, and desserts that you won't find anywhere else at these prices. Lately my favorites are the assorted dumplings and other dim sum fare. Oh, and get ready for some fun on the freezer aisle, where you'll be tempted by all manner of sweet treats stored at eye level above the freezers. 3. Seasonal, limited edition items. Early summer was lemon season with lemon pasta, lemon pesto, lemon body care, lemon candles, and so on. My most recent visit, it was strawberry everything: tiny pies, mochi, dry cereal, etc. At Christmas time, my friends go wild for the kringle pastry selection. There's always something that will only be around for a few days, so you feel like you've struck gold when you get there before it's all gone. 4. Seasonings and sauces. TJ's has some of the best spice blends and prepared sauces that will punch up your home cooked meals. I am obsessed with the crunchy chili onion oil and dry crunchy chili onion sprinkle shaker, living in anxiety that they will be retired. 5. The nicest people! Everyone working seems to have a PhD in customer service. I always leave with a smile on my face after dealing with the friendly checkout counter staff person. There's even more to love - fresh flowers! awesome skincare dupes! great produce & cheese! excellent low cost wines! - but you'll need to come in & experience it for yourself. Bring your reusable bags!

Got a parking spot on the first row as your drive in. So nice that regardless of weather you can park and walk out to your car comfortably. Loved the murals as well. As you enter from the parking garage you can take the elevators or escalators. Well ya know I just HAD to try the conveyor that takes your shopping cart up ha they have attendants that help you place the cart on the conveyor going down and up. Such a cool little experience. Once we got to the second level it was indeed quite packed as expected, but nice and shiny brand new. We were greeted into produce by a wine tasting and then sausage sampling with a live cooking demo. Lots of sampling going on. I enjoyed the new store and can't wait to go back when it's not as busy. On the way out I stopped to check the BBQ restaurant menu. I'm coming back for the Dino Rib!!!

Contrary to another review, they usually have fresh fruit on hand; bananas in a basket and prepared fruit cups. They have a fair selection of beer, wine, soft drinks and coffees. I suppose it took up too much space on the shelf. This is the alternative to Royal Blue, which has even higher prices, although Royal Blue makes some food in-house. Honestly unremarkable. An independent convenience store that knows it can charge more because of where it is. The staff were friendly enough, but the stock was kind of limited. That might be due to so many people being in town that week but they seemed to run out of drinks fairly quickly. It's also no fault of the store but it's worth mentioning right in front of their doors seems to be a popular hangout for Austin's homeless.
