I had 2 exterior doors sticking and several cracks in my house. He suggested 24 piers. I had 3 other companies come out. Biggest one in Fort Worth and the biggest one in Dallas plus another one a friend used. Everyone was all over the place. The big guy in Fort Worth sent out an engineer. I hated to do it but I paid for my own engineer to look to. The big guy's engineer didn't agree with his assessment. Both engineers agreed with DLR Construction Company. With their BBB record. I had called them to see what they'd charge to fix it and when they could do the work. I'd already checked with several plumbers and they were outrageously expensive. As a side note, as of Sept. 2019, plumbers in the State of Texas DO NOT have to have a license. Yes, that means technically anyone can represent themselves as a plumber and I really had no way of knowing which of the ones I called were just "doing" plumbing work (and were really handymen) or who were actual licensed plumbers with experience. I decided that the work that needed to be done was not a major undertaking (like many of the people who had left reviews online had experienced) that would require a master plumber and that a handyman could probably take care of it. I then started researching these "handyman" companies and people in the area. I called Maintenance Pro's and got to talk with Brian. He was so nice, helpful, understanding and patient. Plus, now that the work has been completed, I know he is GREAT and did a wonderful job. He messaged me pics of under the sink/plumbing/pipes and what needed to be fixed and replaced and we spoke before I authorized for the work to be done. He then took care of that and ran some diagnostics on the washing machine. He quickly figured out that the only thing wrong with the washing machine was that, over the years, it had just collected a lot of dust/lint inside the mechanics and just needed to be taken apart and cleaned out so he did that. His prices were reasonable and he was very prompt. Plus, their hours are 7:00am to 9:00 pm so it was very convenient and I didn't have to pay someone else after hours fees. Lastly, I was able to pay the bill online which was very helpful as well. I'll definitely call him again if I have something wrong at this condo. Thanks so much, Brian!

Jack…read morekept promising things will get fixed, but never happened. finally stopped all work and had another concrete person come take a look. 28+years experience. concrete wasn't at any angle for runoff, poured over capped sprinklers instead of re-running them. no compacted gravel, as promised, stamp looks horrible. no expansion joint on a 29'x11' pad. wanted to tear out our concrete lip near the back door to fix water pooling. that lip is where the foundation tension cables are. he would've destroyed my foundation.

What I don't understand is why Ray doesn't guarantee the repair when he was paid to inspect and complete the service? and the issue wasn't fix but slightly worse. Ray - you should either return the payment or perform the service you were paid for. I have the maintenance request plus pictures - if proof are needed.

After a fairly rainy season, we had water damage inside our family room appearing along the seam…read morewhere the wall connected to the vaulted ceiling. It was a fairly long seam developing a crack, perhaps 8', but it did seem to us that the problem was originating at the top of the seam with the water running down the sloped ceiling. We had one company out and despite inspection of the roof they weren't able to pinpoint the issue... leaving us with one estimate to fix random "potential" sources of the problem and another quote to redo that entire side of the roof (even tho the shingles still had plenty of life time remaining). We called Ray for a second opinion. His inspection confirmed the roof is still good but revealed one shingle nail which had come loose, allowing rain to get under the shingle, etc. and run down the ceiling seam thanks to gravity. He patched up the bad spot in the shingle for very minimal cost. We waited three weeks, through some more rain, and confirmed that the drywall which was being damaged was now continually dry. Problem fixed! Ray then came out and repaired the damaged drywall seam between the wall and ceiling for very minimal cost. Ray is a gifted workman and honorable gentleman. Highly recommend.

I had a humidity problem in the crawlspace of my 72 year old house that was warping my floors. I…read morereached out to DFW Crawlspace and Mark promptly responded back to me. He came out the next day and did a thorough inspection of my crawlspace including going underneath my entire house, something that his competition didn't even bother to do. Afterwards he showed me pictures of what was going on down there and discussed what the options were and drew up a plan. He knew that I was finacing the project in a home improvement loan and was patient and responsive during the loan process. When the day came to start the work his team was on time and worked tirelessly to encapsulate my crawlspace including adding a sump pump and dehumidifier to help tackle the humidity issues. The end result was amazing. I opened the hatch and the rancid humidity that once slapped you in the face was gone. I even have lights under there now for when workers come. On his final inspection he saw a place that the electricians had pulled the material from the wall. He made a minor fix and told us to call him in a week if it didn't take. When we looked the fix hadn't taken and he promptly came out and redid the section himself giving the house another follow-up inspection. His prices were half of his competition without all the unneeded bells and whistles. His workers were prompt and friendly and most importantly they were clean considering they were working under the house in the mud yet you would never have known they were in the house. I highly recommend them for your crawlspace needs.

Hector's crew replaced the damaged studs and rebuilt rhe waterproofing better than the orginal builder. My tiny bath looks like a spa now.
