Communication is critical in such a large project, with so many moving parts, and he was always accessible and eager to help. He was also very flexible after we decided to add new cabinets to the project in the kitchen, wet bar, and half bath. His crew, led by Miguel, was excellent to work with and was basically at our house six days a week for a month. They were respectful of the disruption to our daily life and kept things as clean as possible. The job finished on time and on budget as well, something we've been told by friends is rare with these types of projects. The project took 4 1/2 weeks from the day they started the kitchen demo. Note in the before photos that we had fur downs & square recessed lights both of which they removed giving us taller upper cabinets & adjustable brightness LED canned lights. We also had them replaced the square lights in our living room & swap the floodlights in our family room's canned lights for the same adjustable LEDs. The general contractor did a really great job of managing the project & has several great subs that he has worked with long term (cabinets, countertops, & tile/backsplash) for work that his own staff doesn't focus on (1/2 of whom are his family). Very high quality work with an attention to detail including bringing any issues to our attention so that they can be addressed (e.g., leaking faucet in the laundry room). Very reasonable pricing & they were agreeable to us adding on extra things like replacing the switches & outlets outside of the kitchen area with the same square modern ones that were put in our "new" kitchen. We are also having them paint the paneling in our family room as a separate project that they will do this week. We will absolutely call them first for any future projects. There were lots of old…read moreplumbing issues and when they got down to the studs in the shower they found older damage from termites. Hector's crew replaced the damaged studs and rebuilt rhe waterproofing better than the orginal builder. He also offered very thoughtful design touches like raising the shower head for my tall husband and a toe niche for me. They did beautiful work with marble and traventine trim. My tiny bath looks like a spa now.

Hired this contractor to install a new wood floor downstairs due to a…read moreleak from a pipe that ruined the prior floor. During the installation of the new floor another pipe busted causing water damage. The contractor only ripped up a portion of the new floor for replacement. Two new contractors have run moisture tests showing moisture underneath the floor that was not ripped up. Both contractors agree that moisture has moved throughout the downstairs causing the damage. The contractor for Luxury Wood and Stairs also stated the sealant used was not high traffic sealant causing further damage. The new floor appeared well done. Over the next two years multiple boards became uneven and separated from other boards. I contacted Frank, who I believe is the owner of the company, nothing short of 15 times. He always forwarded me to his floor manager Mo. Mo never returned my texts and calls to discuss what appeared to be faulty workmanship. Finally after roughly 30 months Mo and Frank evaluated the floor. They agreed to repair the floor but asked we give them a few weeks to get it on the schedule. Frank sent a long email outlining what they planned on doing. This is the last I have heard from Frank. Clearly we should not be having issues with a floor that is 2 to 3 years old. I strongly suggest you do not use this company.

We had a large job, replacing…read moresiding, painting the entire two story house and tons of small things to do to fix damage due to a hail storm. The entire process took about a month due to rainy weather. My entire yard was trashed for that month. His workers were messy and used my flower pots as a trash, my outdoor furniture wasn't moved aside for projects and was covered with dust and dirt. They left their lunch in opened trash bags for my dogs to discover. My side trees were cut down 6ft without consultation and some of the cuts were not clean, but ripped off. I was constantly picking up screws, nails, paint chips and somehow they got paint in the dogs water bowl. Sloppy work, they dripped white paint on a black rug, and got paint on my back windows. They removed a piece of outside wood exposing the attic and did not cover it up until days later, after I had to notice it and call Bob. I'm not sure if this was a new crew or what, but there was no "care" taken in their work. I constantly had to call Bob for these problems, which was pretty lame because that was why I was paying him. Overall the repairs I needed done were done but I will not use this company for future house projects.

Another fantastic project with the Wreedone team…read more This time, we hired them to replace the flooring throughout the majority of our house, tearing out older tile and hardwood that had suffered from previous water-cupping damage. I had manually measured close to 1,700 square feet, but Wil and Spencer utilized a mobile tech scanning tool to map both the floors and walls (for a future paint project) in a matter of minutes. It immediately validated my manual measurements and gave us complete confidence in the project's scope. We chose to vacate the house during the heavy demo and installation. Scheduling-wise, Wreedone was exceptionally punctual, hitting every milestone exactly when they said they would. They carefully moved and secured our heavy furniture, treated our property with immense respect, and ensured everything was locked up tight at the end of each workday. I had the chance to meet the tile installer, Daniel, and his crew. Daniel is a true craftsman--he noticed minor pattern differences in the tiles and expertly blended them so the installation looks perfectly seamless throughout the house. A true professional! Spencer also brought some great problem-solving to the baseboards. Because the new floors sat a bit lower, reusing the old baseboards would have left a noticeable paint gap along the walls. Factoring in the labor to patch and paint that gap, it was actually more cost-effective to install brand-new baseboards, which ended up looking even better than the originals. Given the massive amount of demolition dust, the top-to-bottom post-construction cleaning was incredible. Walls, floors, countertops, ceiling fan blades--everything was spotless! I am also incredibly grateful to Justin and Chase for the daily updates and progress photos, as well as their care in quickly moving the large furniture back into place post-cleanup. Wreedone's methodology isn't just about executing a single task; they deliver a complete, holistic package. They managed every aspect of this project to deliver a high-quality result that gave my wife and me exactly what we wanted while protecting our overall investment. Well done!
