We got impeccable service from John, who really knows his stuff and was able to advise on numerous details particular to what we wanted. He spent a lot of time with us and went over all the options. He double checked them all, and wanted to make sure we were happy. He did a lot of running around to find styles /sizes for us to try, and it never felt he was pushing anything. We are really happy with the suits my husband selected. Alterations are done on site, and the seamstress was able to come out and advise on what would be best. Jos A Bank's return policy online states that returns on items purchased over 90 days ARE ELIGIBLE FOR STORE CREDIT and must be returned in store. How the hell is corporate OK with this little shit branch going against their policy? I guess they can't enforce it, hence why this brand is garbage. The store attendant made a case of observing that I was returning 7 different items (6 purchased within the last week and 1 purchased over 90 days), and stated "You have too many returns, we no longer accept internet returns." Had I had only 1 item to return it probably wouldn't have been a problem. I was in the store on the phone with customer service when corporate denied any changes to their policy... so who is to believe and who is to blame? 1 star to corporate because they can't keep their branches in line, 1 star to this location because they're pissy the online store is "killing their business". Ya... welcome to 2010 and thanks for wasting my time. Thank goodness we are in 2018 and we can retaliate against shit corporate user experience via social media, to inform others not to support hypocritical brands.

After walking into the shop, we were promptly greeted and made to feel welcome. After a few temporary tweeks to the jacket, the tux looked 100% better. There was a $100 charge for temporary alterations and pressing, but if you have a position of honor at a gathering the right fitting suit is worth a million bucks. After talking to a few men(its family owned/operated) we learned that they do fast alterations and everyone is super stylish. Added bonus: they're making and donating face masks to slow the spread of Covid-19.

At Bridal Expos and online, you usually get bombarded with the chain Menswear places to do your business with for your wedding day (like I did). The styles at these places were bland and I wanted something different. I stumbled upon Sam Michael's and from my first visit (of probably 5 or 6 in total), I was hooked! Walking in here for the first time, I didn't know what to expected. I explained that I was getting married, and 8 groomsmen and 2 parents that needed suits. I was sat down and shown all of my different rental options, which included suits, tuxes, pants, ties, shoes and other accessories. So many decisions, but I was granted the ability to stay there and think carefully, but also explained to that I can change it as many times as I want up to a month or so before the wedding date. Attached are some pictures of the suit I picked for myself and my groomsmen. It was a brand new suit in their inventory that they personally owned, as well as the color choice for my accents (pocket square and tie). Michael and team were very professional through the entire process. We had multiple texts and phone calls back and forth during my moving of our wedding date as well as when my accent color was discontinued. After the wedding was all said and done, I was granted a $500 shopping spree on a suit set of my choice. That was really exciting and I got a nice blue, checkered patterned suit. Initially the suit was advertised to me as "slightly more expensive" but better quality and service than competitors. After we allocated our wedding finances after we got married, at Sam Michael's, I actually spent LESS than what I budgeted and LESS than a competitor I was initially going to go with. Totally worth it here! Thank you Mike and team for everything! I felt like family every time I walked in. No errors or resizing for any of us during our pick ups.
