One of the biggest Target around. You usually can find what you are looking for. Usually can find someone to help you and have enough check out lanes open. Good selection of bath bombs, gels, and soaks. Stuff you can't find else where. Large pet department with the cat stuff getting almost the same shelf space which is not the norm. I just wish they had more choices of women's clothing for those of us who prefer a more classic style. While the grocery section is more limited than a regular one, you can at least a few items in category you are looking for. Great place to find cheaper holiday stuff. There are so many reasons to love Target, including: 1. Cheerful and helpful staff that have been around for years. Target's hiring practices are top-notch. All my interactions here are very positive, especially with my favorite cashier. When she is not there, I'll use self-checkout. 2. Wide assortment of lovely merchandise that reflects my lifestyle and fits my budget. 3. Great Target brands like Good & Gather, All in Motion, Ever Spring, and Simply Balanced. But there are also interesting smaller brands that are generally unavailable elsewhere. 4. Lower ice cream prices. Seriously, I usually get my ice cream (when I do get ice cream) from here. 5. Decent snack and toy departments, but honestly, they need to up their Oreo game. Walmart does a better job with special edition Oreos. 6. Wide aisles, super-clean floors, and merchandise that is always correctly shelved and orderly. 7. Special collaborations, too many to name. It first introduced me to my love of Liberty print designs. 8. Great return policy and process. If you input your telephone number at the time of purchase, all your online/in-store purchases are saved, facilitating returns. 9. Same-day delivery with Shipt. This is especially helpful during COVID. 10. Great customer experiences such as drive-up through the app. Also available is in-store pick-up. A few years back they offered a simplified back-to-school experience but I don't believe it was available this year. It is actually the drive-up service that has prompted this review. I usually like my Target Runs but used this service a few times during the holidays to avoid the crowds and an uptick in COVID cases. After I placed my order online, I dropped by Target at my convenience and pulled into one of the marked parking spots. Many people had the same idea as the parking spots designated for drive-up (expanded since COVID) were almost full every time I used this service. As soon as I pulled up, I checked in on the Target app and a few minutes later, Target staff was wheeling merchandise to my car. Despite the colder weather, the staff was accommodating and (always) friendly. This shopping experience made me feel safe and saved me time. I highly recommend it. read more

This was the first Target that I'd ever used when they first installed the drive up for online shopping. They were progressive because this was long before the pandemic hit. I was doing drive up here over a year ago and when COVID hit, this service was crucial. I love the friendliness of the staff. They are excellent at picking your items that you have carefully shopped for online. Only a handful of times have they not had something that was requested at drive up. They are friendly and load the purchases into your car. This service is critical especially considering how drastically the world has changed. They have now expanded the number of drive up lanes. This was an excellent decision and made it easier for customers to stay loyal to Target. I love this store. It is truly my number one Target store! read more

He took in attention to detail when I had bought a swimsuit the same day and was asking for a simple exchange. The value of his services were impeccable and his communication skills as well as his professionalism was top notch. I got Pokémon cards, LEGO sets, and etc. The employees are really nice and if you can't find something, ask one of them because they helped me a lot! They also have good clothes. I had the most unfortunate experience at this Target this past week. Monday 4/15 at around 9 am I went in to retrieve my online order pick up. I should only need my barcode that is provided in the target app. I forgot my wallet in my gym bag at home. As I presented my barcode the old haggard black lady at the order pick up tells me she will need to see my ID, my purchase was ~150 (Oxyclean powder and an Apple TV 4K). I asked when did the policy change, she of course was no help and stated thats always been the policy. I asked what the reason for checking my ID was (I use order pick up often and I have only been asked for my ID be her a few months ago). I stated that I actually purchased my items with gift cards and she stated it didn't matter. I went home and retrieved my ID but I am absolutely disappointed in the service I received, especially since a call to corporate confirmed that no ID is required for order pick up, read more

Yep, it's a Target. Just about what you'd normally expect at any retailer with as big of brand recognition. I'll say though that this location is one of the cleanest most well stocked one I've been to. Lines also move pretty well but that's going to depend on what time of day you shop. Good, clean Target location. Well stocked shelves. Big parking lot. Friendly staff. Quick check out (granted, I was here at 10:00 pm at night on a Thursday night with a small number of items). This location looks A LOT like my favorite location at home - Vauxhall, NJ. The layout is nearly identical. The only difference is that it didn't have a Starbucks and I think the clothing section is slightly different. They also didn't have much in men's PJs which is why we came here; my partner forgot to pack his and we want to pick some up. We will probably be back to buy some more water for our hotel room. read more

So I went to the store. Why? Why not? It's an adventure! I took my family to get dog dental chews (yes, for the dog, not for the kids, we're not that strapped for cash) on a Sunday morning excursion for food and goofing off. The goofing off was good. Very good. The selection of dog treats was more than adequate, the rest of the store was adequately stocked and clean, and the self-checkout registers were ready to take our money on the spot. (The parking lot is a strange shape to get to the light at the entrance on Haggerty Road, just pay attention and you'll be fine.) read more

A nice target but the selection was a bit poor in certain sections. This Sunday I was looking at the reading glasses and detergent and there was many missing items on the shelf and racks. The cash registers all had long lineups, but thankfully they had self checkouts that worked well. read more

Personally, I go to this target often because it's close to my house. Plus, cartwheel makes it my one stop shop most often, but honestly this Target is one of the worst ones I've been to. The first time I went to this Target I went for household items when I walked into the door there was wine spilled on the floor near self checkout... when I checked out it was still there (30 minutes or more later). Recently, I had a cashier throwing/slamming my items on the belt as she went through picking the things that would be bagged together- which crushed a pasta box on the belt... the crushed box was spilling little broken pieces of pasta out, yet she still rang it up, then got mad when I said I wouldn't be buying that box (which I mean would you or WOULD SHE!?) then today I went to buy some items and noticed a lot of the produce was already bad on the floor and the dog food had a cleaner spilled all over it that hadn't even been wiped up but a worker was present on the aisle scanning other items? Generally speaking Target sets the bar high. This particular Target, however, does not. I've noticed lack of organization every single time.. long lines of carts left in the parking lot where cars could drive down that way... less than Ideal bathrooms ect. "A rose by any other name....blah, blah, blah" We all know what's in a Target. This one is nicer than the one I usually frequent. Its bigger, it gets the better clothes and I feel like the clearance sections are more interesting (I loves me some clearance). This Target also has an optical, not many Targets in the area do, so I stopped in here to order some contacts. Before I stopped by, I called ahead to make sure they took my vision insurance. The woman said yes. Score! I zip down there, plop down in front of the nice lady and hand over my insurance card. She checks and checks...sadly, Target Optical takes my insurance but does not participate in the plan I have. Bummer! The lady could see I was miffed (not with her, but just in general -- I was having a nothing-is-going-right kind of day). She also asked if I needed more contacts right away, because she could provide me with a trial pair to hold me over until I could actually get to place that took my insurance plan. What a sweetheart, she definitely didn't have to do that! Its so refreshing to know that Target still employs great people like her that know you're in a bind and will be willing to help as much as they can given the situation. Sadly, I probably won't be using the optical here but its nice to know that they have great people there if the occasion arises. read more

Targets are great in my book. This one happens to have an Optical Center which I went to yesterday. I wanted to get contacts so I walked in, got an exam, and walked out with a sample of contacts while my prescription is on order. The Optical staff was so incredibly nice and helpful. The exam is affordable and I will probably go back to pick out some funky new frames with my new prescription. The store itself is huge! In the past, I have avoided Target at times due to their annoying return policy and also the fact that I can't ever leave there without dropping a hundy. But, I had such a wonderful experience at this location - I will be returning. Hubby and I went to browse for some area rugs and other home items on Saturday night (what a great date, btw). When we got to the area rug isle, it was pretty bare, and most of the rugs were marked "clearance" on the shelf although many of them were missing price tags. When we got to the register we asked our cashier to check to see if it was on clearance, and she called a manager over. The manager was so kind - he called someone from stock to check on the price, and even offered us 10% off for the wait! Turns out, it wasn't on clearance but we happily took the rug home anyways. I really thought the manager (I'm assuming) Rick went out of his way to make us happy customers. Kudos to him and this Target location! read more

This was the Target I would frequent when I lived in the area and still is there along Haggerty Road. The only downside to this place is exiting and entering due to the fact it's near the freeway, along Haggerty, near Schoolcraft College, and is near tons of other retails stores and resteraunts. There is a stoplight that connects the Mejier parking lot across the street to it and helps you turn into the parking lot and make a safe left turn. It's just usually crowded at that entrance, however it is nice to have. Plenty of parking here which is always a plus, so for the most part I never had to park far away. The store inside is a typical Target and the staff is helpful in finding random items or the usual household items. The aisles never were dirty or crammed with items, it was well stocked. I stopped by this Target before going to Costco for my virgin visit. Needless to say, I was suckered into spending $148 before I was thru! This is the girlie Target. I've never seen so much acreage dedicated to the ladies, big and small. They have twice as much stock as the average Target. I found some great deals in accessories( put some away for gifts) and in cosmetics. If you are a guy, you get short shrift. It also seems that the grocery area was an afterthought because it's very cramped. I wonder if that's because Costco is next door. The only negative is that the store seem messier than the Ford Road one in Canton and I had the feeling that they were short-staffed. Plus, the parking lot's on a hill and is very tricky to navigate. My shopping experience on Thanksgiving Day was excellent! The process was well organized. The line out side of the building was orderly. Ticket numbers were handed out for the hot ticket items, which cut down on the mad rush and chaos, once the store doors opened. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, the store opened. I picked up my items and paid for them in less than 30 minutes. All of the items on my shopping list from the ad wrre available. Great job Target! read more

I love Target and I can now add that I love Target pharmacy as well. This Target is located almost next door to the Costco. I had originally gone into Costco to have them fill a prescription for me and they did not have the prescription. The pharmacist at this Target location was incredibly nice! The prescription was filled while I was waiting and was filled quickly. The pharmacist explained the prescription and gave me a syringe type dispenser for for measuring. Anyway, the pharmacist explained there was a stopper in the bottle to make the dispensing/ measuring easier and I could tip the bottle upside down to measure as a result. Unlike CVS who just gave me the syringe and an open top prescription. (That was a total pain when the liquid got lower than the syringe-totally ridiculous CVS). Anyway, I asked about flavoring as my daughter is difficult with liquid medicines and she took care if it. I had a wonderful experience. I appreciate the attention to detail Target pharmacy gives. This is my most favorite store to shop at. You can almost always find something to wear for any occasion at a good price. I love how designers are being introduced into the clothing lines too. Love the furniture also. The staff always seems pleasant to talk to, so the company must being doing something good for them. Every oddball question from "Where can I find ice cube trays?" to "Do you have this in stock in back?" have always been met with a definite willingness to help. Also I like that the store is well lit, clean, and has wide aisles that are NOT jammed with crap like most other stores. I've notice that the website has recently started implementing a check store availability function on some items. This is a great feature since we won't have to waste time calling to check on on item or drive to the store only to be disappointed that whatever we're looking for is not in stock. Target always seems to be coming up with ways to make their store better and I think that's what makes it great. read more

It pains me to write this because I've been a loyal target customer for years. I go there several times a week plus I order online a lot. Last week I had to buy a lot of things, $222 worth in fact. When I was at the checkout I realized I didn't have my red card. I was really upset because that was a big bill that I wasn't getting my 5% off. I asked the cashier if they could do a price adjustment if I brought my receipt back and she said they would. I went back today and was told that no, they wouldn't do an adjustment because more than 48 hours had passed. I told them the cashier never mentioned anything about 48 hours and asked if it was posted anywhere. They told me no, but that was the policy. They absolutely refused to work with me. I'm so disappointed because I've always felt that target had great customer service. Maybe it was just these ladies there today, on a Sunday evening but they sure were not putting the customer first. The good news is that I called the corporate office and they did the adjustment for me, but really, I shouldn't have to go through that. read more

The store itself was fine. Barb our cashier was great. My issue was texting for coupons and the cartwheel. All the sales yesterday seemed to involve me having to use those things. I hate things that make the shopping experience more complicated or make me jump through hoops to get deals. If they think that breeds loyalty, it doesn't. It makes me shop somewhere else that basically has the same or comparable prices and a simpler process. The few times I've tried using cartwheel there was always some issue. I literally just call to ask are they allowing people to come inside (due to the pandemic) because I have never shopped at target before, literally would be my first time there ever and some stores are only doing curbside pickup only and I wanted to come in and look at my purchase....I called first because I dont live close to this location and it's the only location that have the product I was looking for, I got the rudest, most nastiest person in the guest service department to answer the phone. She literally question why wouldn't they be letting people in and they've been letting people in as if I know that!! I'm so hurt and angry with this lady and told her I only wanted to make sure and I didnt know and she didnt have to be nasty. I really hope you listen to your phone calls because i will never shop at target ever. My very first time attempting and I was greeted and treated rudely. I haven't been out since this pandemic and just wanted to know...I'm actually hurt at how she was speaking to me. Very disappointed in the Cleanliness at the front of the store, and parking lot. Garbage cans were full of garbage at 10:20 AM,the front of the store had pop boxes, papers, cigarette butts, and the windows to the doors were filthy! Not very inviting to walk in! We had a very frustrating experience at this Target today. My husband and I went in there with our two kids to look at fitbits. Walking into the store I was excited to be getting a new device that would help us towards our fitness goals. At the front door we were greeted with an over flowing trash can. Walking past that we continued to electronics. Walking up I could see four associates in the small area and I thought great we'll be able to get help quickly. As we approached no one looked up or greeted us. We walked around trying to find what were looking for. Finally my husband asked if they carried fitbits and the associate says yep right there and points to a case offering no other help or comments. My husband then asked if they carried the large size and the associate said it's only online. At that point I was ready to leave. I could have bought mine and ordered my husband's but I won't be purchasing it from Target even though I really wanted the teal colored one that only comes from Target. I will get another color from another store after the service that we received. read more
