I went today, and it was just a regular small H&M. The workers did not acknowledge me. Caminen did not care. Did not greed. Me. Did not acknowledge me above walking in. Like if I was a ghost. I was there. Looking for stuff. Not a lot of selections. Might be closing soon. Just like forever 21, but something that really bug me was the workers there. Came in to validate parking. Told them I was working at Paseo Hotel as a vendor for an event and I had to park here. The staff or manager told me I need to purchase an item downstairs for validation. Never have I ever been told I need that for any place. I happily went to another place and they validated with NO problem. Now I see why they have bad reviews. read more

I've had lovely helpful employees eager to help me and also snotty ones with a definite attitude. I'm going in today and will make note of who's who for my next review. And she told me this jean can return. But the shirt no, because the code in the tag is black. What's wrong with her ??? Wow! This may just be my new favorite H&M location yet! I've been to Pacific City a handful of times now since they've opened, but just stepped foot into this H&M, and boy I am impressed! This location is bright, clean, and organized - and I hope it stays this way as Pacific City gains popularity. The Men's dept. is located on the 2nd floor, with the Women's on the 1st. Along with the women's dept on the 1st floor, there is also a MASSIVE H&M Beauty Department that kinda blew me away! This is the H&M I'll be shopping at from here on out. Other H&Ms are either really disorganized or the racks are too cluttered and too busy (like most F21 stores) - but this blueprint here is widely spaced out and allows me to shop without feeling claustrophobic. There isnt a kids dept here, but there are some other kid's boutiques within Pacific City. Love this location! Also - be sure to get your parking validated here on the 1st floor! Shopped here with my daughter on 8/28. Manager accused my daughter of wearing pants she was returning that had not been warn. She didn't ask she accused. Manager was chewing gum and while on floor did not greet us or offer assistance. I did not make my purchase of $140 because of this manager not taking my daughter's $20 pants return. Stay away from this location; Huntington Beach. I was purchasing school clothes for my girls, only a couple hundred bucks, but when I wanted a $30 sweat shirt off the Manniquin(only small in the store), the Manager said they have a special person that handles the Manniquins and they weren't there right now, so they couldn't help me. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE HERE. These people were no help at all. Another yelp review mentioned that if you're not a blonde white woman the staff will disregard you and I agree. As a matter of fact is was two white women who stole from me at this location. I left my bag unattended and when I returned to retrieve it, it was no where to be found. When I asked the manager if they had seen the bag they said no. Then I approached a suspicious looking pair of women who suddenly had two brandy Melville bags. I went back to the H& M and the women were still there, I asked if I could check their bags for my blouse and feigning innocence, they pulled out my blouse from their bag. very disappointed in H&M at Pacific City in HB. Bought a killer shirt. Wore it once. Shrunk so bad that it cant be worn again. Was hoping for an exchange. THey didn't have my size. Took it back & they gave me store credit. which is a bummer anyway since i don't shop there a lot anyway. They told me I should be happy since they werent going to take it back anyway??!!? Apparently if you return something to H&M don't wear it or wash it before hand. They only take back original clothing. like off the rack. All that tells me is you don't stand by ur products. Well Brandon here's to you. I just needed a belt so I walked in, walked right to the belts picked out my belt and walked to the counter. Seconds before I walked to the counter Brandon walked away from the register and I was left standing there. He proceeded to walk by me and work on something else ignoring my presence. He finally walked up to the counter and I quote "you made me walk over here for a belt" I honestly can't believe it. Ive only been to two or three H&Ms and this one was decent. Kinda small and the dressing room wasnt private enough and a little messy but i was able to get what i needed. Whenever I come to Pacific City I try to stop at H & M hoping to find something. In comparison to Costa Mesa its a little small. I like it though. Maybe its because of the layout or that is less chaotic. Its very easy to find what you need. read more

I like the place. It's on PCH and it's two stories beside from Main Street. When I got there, I walked upstairs and looked at their huge selection of things. One of the main things I like about H&M is that they don't go heavy onthe logos. The clothing is simple, yet high quality. One of the reasons I love this place so much. My kids likes it too. This isn't about this store but this is where I discovered a problem. I was given a gift card two years ago. I never used it. I went to this store and was told my card had been deactivated. I asked how a gift card could be deactivated since cash was paid to get it. The gal called their offices and was told I needed to be the one to call. So let's leave this good store and these very nice people alone for now. My beef is with their corporate office. I called the number I was given and the young man who answered the phone told me that yes, my card had been deactivated and I could never use it again. I asked HIM how a cash purchased card could be invalid. He didn't know other than he couldn't help me. I asked to speak to a supervisor. He put me on hold and a few minutes later he came back and said yes, there was a possibility the card could be reactivated. He just didn't know how. What?? Then he said that a "team" would need to look into it to see if I had used it before and what the balance was before they could reactivate it. I was told he would call me in the next day or so. Well, "or so" has come and gone....it has been over two weeks. H&M customer service is not good at all. I had to pay cash for my merchandise because H&M chose to deactivate my card...I would not have given them even a one star rating but I think you have to or the reviews won't post. 7/21/18 at 19:18 Store #120419 in Pacific City. BUYER BEWARE!!!' Extremely poor customer service!! Staff has no idea how to run the store. Clothes are on the floor and the dressing room floor is so dirty!! You can tell is has not been swept for weeks!!! The staff are very RUDE and DISORGANIZED. This store is POORLY managed. Other discount store like Ross, Marshalls or TJ Max are run better than this place. The dressing room is a MESS!!!! The employee that was manning the dressing room was letting just anyone in in the rooms without clearing the room. For instance, my daughter was still in the room and they released that room to another customer. We tried getting my daughter's clothes and her cell phone from the dressing room and the lady threw it out. Spoke with the "supervisor" (young guy) about the incident and instead rectifying the situation and advise his staff, he made excuses instead. "We can't control who goes in," said the supervisor. You can't control? There are only 6 small rooms!!! Why is there someone standing by the entrance of the dressing room?????? Their job is to control traffic in the dressing room and monitor them. Ridiculous excuse!!!!!! When we went in there, a staff directed us to a cleaned out room before letting us in. Why Is our situation different? NEVER going to shop here again!!!! Terrible customer service at this location! It's so sad because it's by far the best location in OC with the views of the beach and inviting waves just outside their door. It's all so refreshing, yet the employees are far from expressing a similar feel. I bought several pieces of clothing online from H&M and when two items didn't fit I decided to return them to the store. The cashier didn't so much as say hello to me. I smiled and said hello and she didn't so much as look at me. Also, I asked another cashier who was just hanging out behind the register if I could get parking validation and he rudely said that they only give it to customers who buy stuff, not return it. OMG! Nice way to keep customers. I just spent a good chunk of change on their clothes online, but because I returned two items I was the recipient of his snooty remark. It's one thing to not give customers a parking validation if they are returning items (ok, I get it, fine) but they don't have to be so rude about it --it was just wrong!
