Nice place, lots of space, including a decent waiting room. I got a massage from Lilly, she was wonderful.

I decided to come here to get my hair done for my birthday weekend. I have been here plenty times…read morefor my daughter and this was my first getting my hair done. The salon was full but I was taken in right away. The staff women gave me the best hair wash and she was very pleasant. Additionally, she gave me some great tips about hair products that could make my hair stronger. The only negative I would have to say is they are on there phones a bit much and really don't attend to the customer. Although, the staff we're on there phones a bit much, they do provide good customer service, there pleasant, and the prices are not bad.

PLEASE READ BEFORE CONSIDERING THIS SALON .I genuinely don't understand how this is considered…read moreprofessional hair care. I have 3B textured hair, and I had to literally tell the stylist to use heat protectant before applying heat. That should be automatic. And when I did tell her, she basically used ONE SPRAY and moved on. One spray for my entire head, with barely any attention to the back. Now my hair has gone from 3B to areas behaving like 1A, and I'm potentially facing having to cut it off. I have struggled for years to grow my hair, so this isn't some minor inconvenience. This is hair I've spent years caring for, maintaining, and trying to grow. Having to potentially cut it because basic precautions weren't taken is beyond frustrating. And culturally, this is especially upsetting. Textured hair is not something you should be careless with. There is a huge difference between simply knowing how to use a hot tool and actually understanding how to protect and care for textured hair. I shouldn't have had to remind a "PROFESSIONAL" to use heat protectant. I shouldn't have had to watch them apply practically nothing. I kept in my straight hair for less than a week. AS SOON as I washed it .I knew something was wrong. Over the past week, i've been wondering how I'm going to recover my hair. There is no reversing this damage. I trusted you with hair I've spent years trying to grow. That trust was misplaced. I regret ever coming to this salon. The girl by the window did my hair . If I could I'd give it 0 stars.

Massage Envy is my go to massage chain. One of my favorite locations in CT is the Milford office…read more Why? Because of the exceptional service, which includes the front desk staff, especially Caitlin. She has assisted me with booking appointments, updating payment information, rescheduling appointments and is overall amazing in the over seven plus years I have been a member. When selecting a therapist, you won't go wrong here. I highly recommend visiting if you are in pain, are in training for an event or if you need to destress.

FIVE STARS (for the therapist only)…read more I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at the Massage Envy in Milford, CT -- specifically with how the front desk and membership policies are handled. First and foremost, my therapist Joan is absolutely amazing. She is kind, professional, and truly talented at what she does. I will genuinely miss my sessions with her, and it's unfortunate that situations like this hurt therapists who are doing everything right. Due to a financial hardship following a car accident (which is also the reason I've been receiving massage therapy), I needed to reduce my membership. I was told I could place my account on a 3-month freeze and still use my accrued sessions by paying $20 instead of the regular $80. I agreed. Because it's so close to the holidays and money is tight, my card didn't go through when they attempted to charge me a second time in the same month. When I called to understand why, I was told the $20 charge on 12/14 applied to November, and now another $20 was being charged on 12/22 for December. While I can understand the explanation, it does not change the reality that I simply don't have extra funds available right now. I asked if I could cancel my membership and be reimbursed for the services I've already paid for. I was then told my account is on suspension and that nothing can be done until I pay the additional $20. So essentially, I'm being told that to access or recover services and funds I've already purchased, I must first pay more money toward an account I'm trying to cancel. To make matters worse, the manager was not in today. The front desk associate told me she would send an email explaining the situation and that the manager would call me tomorrow. How is it that there is not a manager readily available, the way there is at virtually any retail or service-based business -- especially when dealing with billing disputes and hardship situations like this? This entire experience has been absolutely ridiculous, inflexible, and incredibly frustrating. The lack of compassion and proper management completely overshadows the quality of the actual massage services. Experiences like this drive loyal clients away and unfairly impact the therapists who work so hard and genuinely care about their clients.
