I know I am used to staying in "higher end" hotel, so I tried to be fair about this review, but it was still pretty tough. The lobby area (if you want to call it that) was a teeny tiny rectangle. If anyone else was checking in/out you might as well wait outside. There is an elevator, however you can fit a maximum of 2 people with any luggage in it--and it is ridiculously slow. The hallway to the rooms reminds me exactly of being on a cruise ship. If you are even remotely claustrophobic this is not the hotel for you! The bed in the room was very low; not on the floor, but pretty close. You have to keep your room key in a device on the wall in order to access the electricity. That means, you are unable to leave a light, or air, or anything on while you are gone. I was on the 1st floor. It was horrible since there is a night club hooked onto the hotel. It was extremely loud until all hours of the morning. This was simply a bonus since the walls of the hotel were ridiculously thin. I could hear every time a shower was turned on anywhere on my floor. I could also smell the disgusting breakfast every morning (that was not free). There was no refrigerator or iron/board in the room. They did have an "ironing room" however on another floor. You simply ask the front desk for a key, and go to the "closet" (yes, it's a closet) where it is housed and iron away! So bizarre!
On a positive note, it is in a great location...close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. The people that worked there were extremely nice. read more
