Fantastic hotel in the perfect location in Nice. Walking distance to everything Nice has to offer and easy access to train station for exploring other parts of the French Riveria. Breakfast overlooking the sea is a highlight. Be sure to spend some time on one of the many private beach clubs along the promenade. Would definitely stay here again.

Trip for the Grand Prix de Monaco We choose The Hyatt Regency Nice Hotel, cozy and clean. Breakfast is great Pool is amazing Service is great, first night while posting so far so good Recommend

This hotel is pretty amazing. The location is very convenient-walking distance to great restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. It has several great beach clubs across the street. The lobby and the rest of the property is modernly decorated with art, statues and fresh flowers. The room was spacious, clean and had all necessary amenities. I didn't like the fact that the see view was obstructed because of the shape of the building, but the rooftop restaurant provided the most amazing view. We spent four nights here and the staff made our stay really special. We liked the fact that they offered both self and valet parking. The buffet breakfast was pretty amazing, too.

I'm actually writing this review on my way to St. Tropez, I figured long ride so write a review. The hotel is in a great location with the beach across the street and various restaurants within walking distance. We didn't do breakfast at the hotel but why would I pay €28 per person when two people can eat for €10 total at any short walk cafe. The lobby is well designed and clean and there's a great heated pool on the 3rd floor. The rooms are spacious especially for European standards with nice balconies but they can use a makeover. Beds aren't super comfortable, stained carpet and slightly overused furniture. The room was overall comfortable and stay able but definitely not 5 stars. Staff not rude but definitely not the friendliest but that doesn't bother me as a traveler. If I was in the area again I wouldn't not stay but I probably would see what else is around prior to committing.

One of the best locations to stay in Nice on the promenade! The staff here always greet you with smiles and making sure your stay is good here. We booked for a city view but we got upgraded to ocean view without asking. The breakfast buffet ($20 pre paid during check in, or $28 at the door) is worth every penny. The view of the restaurant is gorgeous and the food has a lot of variety to choose from, such as omelette station. We also made reservation for the steam and sauna room since they only limit one family at a time due to COVID. I love it since we had this all for ourselves. Everything I expect for a nice hotel is here.

Staffs here are really nice! Very kind and helpful. The hotel is nice, we got our room upgraded to a suite for being a member. Rooms are really nice and spacious. It was a raining week here so it was nice having a big nice room. This place is next to s casino as well for those who like that. Beach access right across from us, as well as shopping and food near by as well! This place can be spendy, of course if depends on the time of year and day. Parking is literally on the side of the hotel it's s garage, BUT you have to pay every time you come in and out. If you plan to do that it's cheaper to just do valet. Breakfast buffet is great, there's an omelette area where you could customize what you want, either fried eggs or just an omelette, there's fresh waffles, pancakes and French toast, and of course bread, cheese and ham and many more other things.

A great choice while in Nice. The Hyatt is located conveniently on the Promenade des Anglais, the main beachside strip that runs several miles from the port to the airport. As a result, you can walk out your door and literally trip over countless cafes, the gorgeous Mediterranean and a wonderful assortment of people strolling, sitting, bicycling and jogging along the coast. There's nothing better than a hotel that provides a quiet respite while still providing all the action at your doorstep. The lobby has a wonderful floral fragrance that is prominent even from outside around the block! Not overpowering, just comforting in a subtle and pleasant manner. The hotel itself isn't anything particularly special or breathtaking. A clean, nicely-presented Hyatt with friendly staff, lovely rooms and a nice bar/patio/pool area from which you can take in the breadth of the Mediterranean. We opted for a superior partial ocean view room. I know others have said that they wouldn't splurge on this, but I say: DO IT! I thought it was totally amazing to wake up in the morning and sit on our large balcony, being lulled into contentment by the sound of the ocean and the city coming to life. Another plus of these rooms is that the soaking tub in the bathroom also opens to the balcony and the sea (discreetly of course), so you can lie in the bathtub and gaze at the ocean, too. Wonderful! Walk around the block from the hotel to Rue Messena -- it will take you to Place Messena and bridge you into the Vieux Nice (old Nice) part of town. I loved how close the hotel was to Rue Messena...countless restaurants with al fresco seating, shops, hustle/bustle. It was wonderful. Another plus was being able to step outside and go running along the promenade very easily. The distance from the hotel to the tip of the port is around 1.5 miles, so if you do a round trip, it's a nice leisurely way to start the day while on holiday. Quite flat and very beautiful. The price for this place was not pretty -- it is one of the more expensive options in Nice for sure. But everything in the larger cities on the Côte D'Azur is pricey, similar to Paris. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stopped by the lounge on the Promenade des Anglais for some breakfast with relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere and stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Great experience. Staff super friendly and eager to help. Would absolutely stay again. Terrace restaurant was a delight for wine and small bites.

Arrived at the hotel and was treated like a King. As a member of Leading Hotels of the World there was a welcome letter, complimentary toiletries gift set from Lalique, and I received a complimentary 60 minute massage at Le Spa as part of my package. The ascent to my room was epic, starting off with the velvet red elevator with automatic opening doors. As I got off the elevator I was greeted with an assortment of art (which is present on all floors and the common areas). I received an upgrade to a garden room overlooking the Musee Massena and a partial sea view which was magnificent (room 404). The room was well appointed with a super comfortable bed and came equipped with electric blinds that allowed me to sleep after sunrise. Chocolates were left bedside each evening of the stay. Each morning I was offered the breakfast buffet as well as a menu from which I could order specialty items off of such as pancakes and an egg white omelette. Service and food was great. The evenings offered live entertainment in the 1913 and Versailles bars with an outdoor smoking seating option for cigar aficionados. All the staff, particularly the Concierge team, were extremely helpful and made restaurant reservations for me upon request. The hotel also offers a beach club, which I did not take advantage of. The location was great, just 15-20 minutes from the airport, right across the street from Promenade Anglais, a 15-20 minute walk to the Nice-Ville train station, and about 15-20 minute walk to Old Town. I would certainly consider staying here again.

The room had a lot of character, almost like getting a prime location with Airbnb but better because you have clean towels and 24 hour staff. The room had a king size bed and a twin bed. We didn't book a suite or anything so we were surprised on how spacious and luxurious the room was. We had two restrooms too! Speaking of staff, the employees were all so friendly and more importantly, accommodating. Our flight from Rome to Nice got cancelled and we were worried about paying for a night when we weren't there on top of cancelation fees. We called the hotel and they changed our booking from 2 nights to one night and waived the cancellation fee. Who does that??? Staff answered all of our questions and reassured us every step of the way. The customer service is superb, I don't even know why French people have a reputation for being rude. It's totally not the case, at least with the staff here. The breakfast was amaze balls. I wish I had photos of the food but I was busy eating it all up. The fruit was fresh and not canned. The croissants were freshly baked. It was flaky and buttery heaven! The baguettes came out piping hot and you can cut it yourself on a board. The coffee machine made like 8 kinds of espresso, cappuccino, and lattes. I had the white cappuccino and it was foamy, milky, and strong. Much better quality than Starbucks. The experience made me feel like I was staying at a five star hotel. I wish our flight wasn't canceled so we could have enjoyed our stay longer. When traveling to Nice, make sure to book this Best Western. It was about 60 euros a night in November!! What a deal!

The hike up the hill with luggage can be a challenge, even if you're in decent shape. Service at the hotel is 4.5 stars. Phillippe is awesome and has great recommendations for dinner. He's friendly and welcoming. I would give him 5 stars. I would've rated the hotel higher, but it is a bit of a trek to the touristy spots. In addition, the walls are thin, so you can hear everything that goes on in the room next door. Our neighbors were definitely having a lot of "fun" on our last night. Even though I knocked on their wall several times, I wasn't able to stop their late night fun. We thought our room included the breakfast buffet, unfortunately it didn't and we had a 16 euro/pp/day charge. It wasn't that we minded the charge, but the food was definitely not worth the 16 euro/day. There weren't that many choices at breakfast. The hotel provides free wifi access, although it is spotty. It is also limited to two sign-ons per room. If you have a lot of wifi devices, you'll find yourself trying to figure out which device you want to connect to the wifi. There are some other creative ways you can get online, but I'm sure other yelp reviewers are smart enough to figure it out. :) If I visited Nice again, I would probably pay the extra $ and stay at the Hotel Negresco. I do recommend this hotel if you have a rental car. Nice is car friendly and this particular hotel is located in a residential area, so there is plenty of free street parking.
