I want to commend Gary King for his overwhelming response to my recent order difficulties. On July 14, I placed an order via DoorDash. The driver delivered the wrong order to us, I informed him of the error, he said no problem , will correct and have order delivered via Uber Eats. Well, that driver needs to be blocked from any delivery, cause the 2nd order never arrived to me. After 9:30pm, Mr King himself delivered my order to me in the pouring rain. Gyros King have eight locations around the area and after a meal here, you will understand why they grew to eight locations. Gyros King consistently deliver a tasty and filling meal at a more than fair price and with friendly service. I usually go with one of their bowls and this time, I went with their gyros bowl. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall in an industrial park. There is a sign on the front of the building but because the building is angled you won't be able to see it. Just trust your GPS as it takes you right there without any drama. Parking is plentiful with a row adjacent to the building as well as another row across a traffic lane. There was a handicapped space right in front of the entrance door. There is one step up to a sidewalk that runs the length of the building. I did not see a ramp but that is not the fault of the restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Walking in there are several tables with seating for about 40.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The ordering counter is in the rear. There is a relatively easy to follow and read menu above the counter. We were greeted as we came in and the workers were both friendly and helpful in making and assembling our selections. The gyros wrap was filled with a good amount of meat along with veggies and your choice of tzatziki or ranch sauce (get the tzatziki). The chosen side was a diced cucumber salad with an oil and vinegar dressing. I knew I was making the right choices as the person assembling the meal was very encouraging. The gyros pita was just as complete as the wrap and fries were selected as the side. The gyros meat was cooked perfectly and not dry at all. It was very flavorful and there was plenty in the wrap. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and the tzatziki sauce was the perfect addition. The diced cucumber salad was crisp and flavorful, especially with the oil and vinegar dressing. The pita was as good as the wrap and the fries were cooked perfectly with a crisp outside and softer inside. They also had seasoning with made them flavorful without any condiments. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and highly recommend stopping in. We will certainly add this to our meal stop any time we are in the area. read more

It as been so long since I've had a gyro! We just moved here from a beach town and there weren't many Greek places and the ones that were there were pretty far away. I was at the grocery store and saw the gyro king sign and checked their reviews which were all great so decided to stop in and grab some food. There were 2 guys working and they both greeted me and were friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]One was cleaning the dining area, which was already very clean, and the other was working the counter.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a nice variety of food on the menu. I went for the gyro wrap with lettuce, tomato, onion and tzatziki. The pita was nice and warm with a little crunch on the edges. I had a couple bites that were kind of too salty, probably the meat, but it wasn't enough to make me stop eating. And sometimes the bites were either all meat or all toppings. It was hard to get a little of everything but it was still very delicious. The reason for the 3 stars is there was a hair wrapped in a piece of lettuce . I went in for a bite and saw it. I took the piece of lettuce out and tried to convince myself maybe it was mine. but it was really wrapped in there and it was short and black. my hair is long and light brown. i have huge issues with detached hair so this is such a problem for me. my brother has found hair in his food before, took it out and kept on eating. I cannot do that. The gyro was so good I did stand there debating on if I could finish the last 5 or 6 bites but I knew there was no way. I'm just glad it was at the end of the gyro and not early on. I know this can happen to anyone. I've found my own hair in food I've made. It happens but it's still gross when it's someone else's hair in your food and it's a dealbreaker for me. I probably wont be back because of this. I know the odds of it happening again would be low but I just can't. There was a donut shop I went to years ago and there was a long blonde hair cooked into the donut. These were like the most expensive donuts I had ever purchased. Came in for lunch on our way to Nashville. We looked over the menu and decided on a Gyros and Philly steak sandwich combo with fries. Our order came up pretty quick. I got to pick what I wanted on my gyros from all the fresh ingredients displayed behind the counter. There were also a few different sauces to choose from. Same went for the Philly sandwich. The bread on both was very fresh. We got some spicy salt on the fries. The drinks were self serve and refillable. There was an excellent choice of drinks too. We sat down at one of the tables by the window. The place was bright and very clean. Plenty of parking in the parking lot. There was a steady stream of people placing and picking up orders. Oh man where do I start with this place. The food is absolutely delicious and cooked to order. I have been here several times and have not been disappointed. My favorite is the Philly steak wrap it is so good, I have also had the spicy chicken plate and that was delicious as well. The rice it comes with is seasoned perfectly as is the chicken I got it with the tabouli and it was the perfect combination. There is plenty of parking and the dining room has plenty of seating. The staff that works there are very friendly and give you quick and courteous service. It is located in an old strip mall, so the inside is a bit older but it still has that small town vibe to it.
