This was our first time picking here, and I'd say it was a success! They have several patches and lots of berries that weren't super over-picked yet. I *think* it was roughly $2.75 per pound. There is a little playground for kids-- to include swings, a tunnel slide, and a sand pit. They also have one of those cute signs you stick your head in for photo ops. There's a large pavillion with several picnic tables located next to the family's homemade ice cream truck. Ice cream was $6 a bowl, and if I remember correctly, they had vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and banana ice cream. Lemonade was donation based. They have a small shop up front on the property, but we came closer to closing time, so I didn't want to bother anyone by going inside. I'd definitely like to go back to check it out, though! There are 2 port-a-potties on site, and both were relatively clean/smelled okay for being the end of the day. There was a hand washing station outside. They gave me the ice cream for free; doing this for first responders that have been working thru the winter storm. WOW--what an unexpected and generous gesture!
