We have eaten here numerous times and we just love this place. You can get giant baked potatoes loaded with lots of toppings. The best part of it is the inside of the potato dug out and mixed with sour cream and cheese and mix it back in the potato before loading it up with toppings. The food is wonderful, and we've had it via a to-go order in the past. We wanted to take the family out for a meal and chose Tater Headz. We had no issues during ordering. We tipped a decent amount (including this because of the events that followed). We sat down at a table near the speaker in the dining area. However, we had a baby with us, and it occurred to me that it was too loud for the baby. I calmly mentioned it to my husband and said I wanted to sit at another table. No issue, they can play music in their dining area, it just wasn't a good location for the baby near the speaker. A moment after we got seated at the other table, the young lady that took our order came out from the kitchen, and with a jerky, performative motion, turned the volume up on the speaker to an unreasonable level. No,...you still ain't hearing me-I said they are JAM PACKED with toppings! One menu item will completely fill the container it comes in. Keep this in mind when ordering on an empty stomach. I find myself with at least 2more days worth of food when I order on an empty stomach. Trust me, you won't be able to finish a whole container, I promise. 3) The staff is unbelievably nice and humble. I can really appreciate this kind of attitude in 2024 because let's face it-there's a lot of rude and entitled people out there, so it's definitely a good look for this joint. They take the potato and mash it and fill it with butter and sour cream and then load it with every topping imagination. The buffalo ranch is amazing as well as the hot honey gold. One potato always lasts me multiple meals and it tastes good the best day too. They also have tater tots, but we have not tried them because we love the baked potatoes so much.
