The restaurant's character and decor immediately pulls you in. We were promptly seated, had our order taken, and I cannot lie about the amazing service! The staff was kind, and I was amazed by how quickly everything was finished. I gave the -Fried Chicken Sandwich- a shot, and was greeted with this hot, crispy, perfectly coated and seasoned, humongous** piece of poultry! I could've had two sandwiches if I was given another bun. I am not usually the type of person that gets dessert... but getting a slice of the -Carrot Cake- to go was a decision that I will absolutely make again. All I will say is that I was already full... and still ate 3/4 of my slice.

We also shared cheese sticks for the table, which were served piping hot and delicious. Service was top notch. It was friendly, attentive, and efficient and our food came out quickly. The atmosphere was very welcoming, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd go back in a heartbeat. I could tell they have the catfish batter recipe correct by the smell, but it was another story when I tasted the fish. The aftertaste was better than the initial taste. You would think that fresh ingredients would equal a good salad. I was wrong. Maybe I got a bad batch, but it did not taste good. Maybe because the salad had a seasoning on top. I don't know, but I love salad but I could not finish this salad. I love the fact they made their own dressing in house.

Ordered the meatball sub and my wife ordered the Italian grilled cheese and an order of cheese sticks as well. Both were worth our time and money. I will always pay good money for good food. My only critiques attribute to aesthetics. Red sauce needs more salt. Cheese under the meatballs needs melted so you get that melty gooey hearty bite. Different sub roll for me. I'm not a knife and fork kind of guy for a sandwich. Doesn't make their rolls bad. It's a different approach. Cheese sticks were hot and fresh. They just needed seasoning in my opinion. Crispy coating and stretchy cheese though. Not bad. The meatballs fulfilled my craving though. 10/10! Inviting atmosphere and Mallory checked on us despite being busy and that says a lot about her. Would definitely return!
