They just don't care. The building is disgusting. Hasn't been cleaned since the 90s when the picture on the ceiling was put up. The staff could care less about anyone that is of color, they just treat people of color differently. As if they are a commodity. The cook stays eating food off of the grille. The health department needs to really check this dump out.

I love going to this restaurant for my Cleveland Gyro! It's been a staple small restaurant chain in the Cleveland area for years. Just be open minded when you visit because it's not very impressive to the eye but I promise they have great food inside lol. I usually go here for breakfast to get their pancakes which are always pretty solid. Today my husband and I ordered a gyro and a gyro burger with fries. The gyro is made with lamb meat, lettuce, onion and tomato. The cucumber sauce all over is a must. I took a bite of the gyro burger and while it was tasty I must say I prefer the pita bread with my gyro. This place is worth a try I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Walk in and take a look at the big board for the specials as well as the regular menu items. This is a no frills down to business greasy spoon that is sure to delight you palate. From gyro omelets to fries as well as chicken and waffles.. the diverse menu is sure to have something for nearly everyone. I usually call ahead so my order is ready or has a chance of being ready shortly after my arrival 10-15min later. The food portions are usually HUGE.. and are quite a value. The 24 hour business program is also helpful to those that work odd hours or are just out for a late night. Today was burnt chicken day.... however the cashier offered to remake it without me asking. 5 stars on that! I opted to wait for a fresh serving. The place is pretty dirty and one shouldn't look too hard at the eclectic decor. Now down to the food. I find it delicious and filling. The waffle today was moist and fluffy. The chicken was crisp and hot. Log cabin type maple syrup aside... this is still outstanding for flavor and value. Just don't forget to wash your hands after you get home. Maybe a piece of baklava to go would hit the spot too??!!! Enjoy... just skip over the dirt.

We ordered French toast and two of the turbo charged with pancakes and hash browns. The standout part of the food was the raspberry syrup which you can pour on top of French toast or pancakes! But really it was all very good food. The maple syrup came out in a warm glass bottle. There's actually lots of opportunity to customize your dish too. I was asked if I wanted cheese on my eggs. What kind of cheese. Bacon crispy or regular. Pancakes can come with fruit or other toppings. The pancakes were deliciously fluffy. The meals were very filling! For three people it came out to about $45 after tax and tip. If we are in the area again we will be coming back to Hot Grillz.

Many friends told me that I would not be disappointed and every single one of them was correct. There is a nice collection of bar seating, hot tops, and booths, so somewhere to sit for everyone. Everything that came out around us looked like I wanted to take it away and eat even more. They are remodeling their location, so I can't say enough about a place that puts money back in to improve themselves. This is the place for breakfast

We ordered the chicken & waffles and the peach pecan pancakes. My wife had a coffee and I did something unusual and had a glass of pineapple juice. The coffee was solid and the pineapple juice was not the cheap stuff. It wasn't artificially colored, thin junk. It was like they juiced a pineapple. They may have. I don't know. The food arrived and we were so excited because it looked delicious. Kayt stuck her fork in the chicken and, I kid you not, juice shot out of the chicken and arched up into the air and landed on the table. She was kind enough to share a couple bites, and this was some tasty, juicy, perfectly seasoned chicken. Her potatoes and the waffle were great too. My peach pecan waffles were great too. The pancakes were more like a sheet cake. They weren't as sweet as sheet cake though, which was perfect because the peaches and the syrup added plenty of sweetness. Overall, we were super pleased. With tip, it cost about $60-65. A bit on the expensive side, but ok for an occasional splurge. My wife says it's the best chicken & waffles she's ever had.

The space itself is huge, which I appreciated -- no feeling crammed into a tiny dining room or hovering awkwardly near other tables. It's filled with natural light, giving it an upbeat, welcoming vibe that makes you want to linger over coffee and actually enjoy your meal. The menu is extensive, with something for every kind of breakfast/lunch mood -- sweet, savory, classic, or a little indulgent. It took me a while to decide because so many options sounded good. The food absolutely delivered: everything was fresh and flavorful. Portions were generous without being overwhelming, and every bite tasted like real comfort food done right. I did a "fish & sweets" combo with crab cakes and stuffed French toast. The French toast was so good. It was cream cheese and mixed berries. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and seasoned so well. The waitresses were genuinely helpful and attentive without hovering. They checked in at the right times, answered questions about the menu, and kept things moving smoothly even though the restaurant was busy. Location-wise, it's in a great area and super easy to get to. I was pleasantly surprised to find metered parking right in front -- a huge win, especially if you're used to circling blocks for brunch spots. Overall, Cleveland Breakfast Club nails the full experience: great food, friendly service, bright atmosphere, and convenient parking. Definitely a place I'd return to and recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, feel-good breakfast or brunch in Cleveland.

At least new to me. As mentioned I haven't been here in a while. Wait to be seated when we came in. It took a few minutes but a table was cleaned for us and we sat. Nice crowd for a Thursday afternoon. Hostess is also the cashier. She gave us menus. Then we waited about 15 mins till a server came with silverware. She took our order. A chicken salad sandwich and the special chicken paprikash. I wanted to try it. Then we waited some more. At least 20 mins to get our drinks. Water with lemon. Then another 30 mins for food. It was hot when we got it. So it was fresh. Just took forever. I also got a cup of soup with my paprikash so I chose the mushroom barley. It was very thick, almost stew like. Lots of barley but not too many mushrooms. It was ok. Wouldn't get it again. The paprikash was ok. It's a ok portion. Not heaping. Ok though. It tasted ok too. Not too much distinct flavor. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't get it again. Mom's chicken salad on wheat was just ok too. For the more than hour we waited to get our food, this was not a great experience. When we went to pay the hostess cashier was MIA and we waited. We were going to pay via cc but decided we did not want to wait any longer and just gave cash. I couldn't even flag someone down to tell them I left the bill by the register. No one there. Not sure if help was the issue. Probably was. Too many customers and not enough wait staff. Or just on their own time. Server seemed surprised we wanted to go boxes and our bill. But I got to get back to work and at this rate I was out of the office more than 1 hr 45 mins. Family place. Long time establishment. Good prices for a family. I don't want to knock. But this was a bit too far for me. I can't wait for my lunch for more than an hour. It may be awhile before I try again.
