I don't recall exactly how I found Jim, but at the end of the day, I am glad I did. I called Jim and scheduled an initial walk-through and estimate. He was easy to communicate with, and at the end of day, he was punctual with his appointment time. We were in an interesting spot as Jim had to speculate the work that needed to be done...since our closets weren't completed yet...but that was not an issue at all. We discussed different possibilities, and things were put on hold until the work was completed. Fast forward to this weekend. The closets were finished, I let Jim know, and he was able to get to our house today. No surprises...just efficient and timely work. Jim was great in completing the work. Some wrenches got thrown his way, but we left the door open for any extra work that needed to be done, and all went well. At the end of the day, we are completely pleased with Jim and his work. He was easy to deal with, and he was a pleasure to work with. At the end of the day, we are extremely happy with how things turned out, and we would use Jim again in a heartbeat.

But it was the customer service that makes that lasting impression. We needed a small remnant for another one of "our projects" (haha we have many). I have experienced being "brushed aside" from other places, but not here. You would think we were the most important people in the world. That is how we were treated. You know a place is great, when you walk out with your wife and you both turn to eachother and say at the same time, "we need to come back here". That is the highest recommendation we could ever give! Heather & Frank

He did a great job of following up with us, and made sure we are satisfied with how everything went. From start to finish the experience we had with Hami was exceptional. They were fast and efficient without compromising quality. Gabriel, the crew lead, has over 40 years of expericence under his belt. He focused on our stairs and it came out beautiful. We already got a lot of compliments from friends and family. Thanks again Hami!!

My wife and I visited their showroom several times before choosing the carpet we liked best, and the team was always patient and helpful throughout the process. We were especially concerned about the spiral staircase, since it can be difficult to carpet correctly. Bob, the owner, explained exactly how his team would handle the installation. During my own research, I learned about a technique called "Hollywood Installation," which requires a high level of skill to execute properly. Bob's installers had no trouble with it -- and the results exceeded our expectations. The new carpet looks fantastic, and walking on it feels even better. The luxury padding Bob recommended makes a noticeable difference, especially when walking barefoot. The added floor boards also look great and tie everything together. I highly recommend Hawse Abbey Carpet to anyone looking for new flooring. Their craftsmanship, communication, and attention to detail are outstanding.

After nothing for 30 minutes past the time, I call and they said they would be there in 20 minutes. Shows up one hour past the scheduled time...it happens, I understand, but maybe you should at least apologize and give me a heads up? Apologizing after I call you out is not comforting. Very nice in person, Takes measurements and discusses. This was a Friday, so I understand we might not get the estimate soon. I'm told, if not this weekend, I'll get it to you by Monday eod. No worries, that's reasonable. Heck, it can be any day, just do what you promise. Monday nothing. Tuesday nothing. Call Wednesday. Says I'm really busy, No apology until I call them out on what they promised. I didn't set the expectation, they did. I tell them, if we don't even have a contract and you're being like this, what am I to expect? Next day, I get a text about the room to be done, is it upstairs or downstairs, and the bathroom, is it being done? I'm totally confused, we never spoke about a bathroom and the room is upstairs. I get the quote finally. It's ~$30k more than another quote I got from a 5 star Yelp business. WTH. Looking deeper into the quote, it's talking about terracota tile and grout...we never spoke about that, we spoke what I already have downstairs, which is laminate. They even stated, that's a manufactured piece we can't get anymore but we can get something close to match. Don't always believe Yelp reviews, but I'd believe this one.
