They do it all, but their particular specialty, I think, is custom cabinetry. I just imagined cabinets in three bathrooms, the bedroom and office, and they executed beautifully. Our projects were in two successive condominium homes. Condos are especially challenging because of homeowners association rules, parking, special insurance requirements, etc. I could go on and on about our excellent experience. Never a missed day, we always knew what to expect, and we know Ron stands 100% behind his work. You will not be disappointed.

The contractor, Will, in my opinion, appeared to have too many other things going on to keep an eye on his workers. Work took forever. Lousy quality workmanship. Workers stayed late several nights to smoke weed on my back patio (neighbors complained). Ever hear of the Big Dig in Boston? This project was like that. The crew removed a pure copper cap from my perapet wall and never returned it or replaced it. The tile guy worked at night by the light of his smartphone for God knows what reason. It appears that Will never measured the necessary space to park my car in its space of 20 years. My car now no longer fits in its space in my garage! Despite the house having been refitted a few years ago with all-copper pipe, Will's crew changed some bathroom piping with PVC plastic pipe without my prior knowledge or consent and later, when I pointed this out, Will responded that it was too late to fix it because the drywall and the tile would have to be removed. CXC also changed out some bathroom fixtures for ultra modern fixtures that we did not choose or approve for this century-old lovingly-curated home. Will even employed his own wife instead of a quality painting professional to finish interior painting on my classic 100-year-old Hollywood Hills home There were so many problems with this job, I'm too annoyed to type them all. Will loves to brag about what he claims are "great reviews" here and on other social media. Count me as feeling ripped off. My advice is: stay away from CXC at all costs! $250K and my garage still leaks. Is that what you want? Prove me wrong.

The quote we were given was very reasonable and the project was on budget and completed earlier than estimated. My wife sent Eran several pictures of bathrooms that she admired. Eran was patient and really listened to our ideas, made constructive suggestions and created a design that matched her vision. The final design was exactly what we wanted. All of the employees were extremely courteous and helpful and our dogs even looked forward to seeing them daily. They were so considerate about keeping the area neat that we were able to use our bedroom during construction of our en suite. Everyone is extremely conscientious and thorough. They are very communicative and responsive to any questions. Eran was always available and showed up almost everyday himself. During a previous project we had done with a different contractor, we never saw the actual contractor after signing the contract. Eran and Nicole arranged everything regarding permits, inspections and deliveries. We were so happy with the process and result that we have hired them for our upcoming exterior projects.

Working with Oren and Nicole was great…read more My house was built by a carpenter inspired by Greene and Greene style. I had talked to multiple contractors and a designer about working on my bathroom, but ended up not hiring any of them because they did not understand how important maintaining the Greene and Greene style was to me. Everyone wanted to rip out or alter the trim in some way. When I spoke to Nicole, I explained that the bathroom was a very specific style and that I wanted to rennovate while maintaining the original trim. She assured me it would be no problem for Oren and she was right I am glad I chose to trust Pine Tree DC with my project. They converted my tub to a shower, replaced the vanity, and added a coat of fresh paint, all while maintaining the trim that was dear to me. One of the challenges in my bathroom is the narrow space between the shower and the vanity. the vanity is perpendicular to the shower and I wanted it to be as wide as possible without overlapping the shower. Oren double, triple measured and told me just the right measurement to order the custom vanity in. It fit perfectly next to the new glass shower which is also just the right width. For the vanity counter, I really liked the look of counters that end flush with the vanity, but Oren warned me that it would be standard to have it protrude a couple inches to protect the vanity from water. After considering it, I decided aesthetically I preferred it flush with the counter and wouldn't mind being careful about water. Oren understood and built it the way I wanted. There were several things like this where let Oren how I would like something, he would explain the pros and cons, and then I was free to make an informed decision! This is absolutely the best, I really appreciate that Oren would help me make informed decisions but ultimately leave it up to me to make sure I would be happy with a bathroom built for me! Oren was also very detail oriented and would let me know if anything came up during construction that might impact one of my decisions, and sometimes I did change my mind based on the new information. Overall Oren was a joy to work with, a problem solver with a cool head, a collaborator that made things happen and understood my goals. Also can't forget, Nicole was always friendly and very helpful in recommending places to source materials from and handling logistics. A dream team!

Communication with Cornelio (the contractor) has always been clear and consistent, and he's also just a great guy. Costs and payment schedule were fair and outlined thoroughly -- just make sure you ask questions so you know what is NOT covered by their build quote (appliances, permit fees, etc.) before you start so you can budget accordingly. The work was top-notch. Everything went pretty well on schedule for the timing they quoted us, until something unexpected arose (which always happens) and another month or so was needed to complete the project. And because they're good, they're busy -- so you do have to be willing to roll with occasional scheduling changes. But for the vast majority of the time, they showed up exactly when we expected them to and worked very hard to deliver on time. I don't think you will find anyone better for the overall work ethic and quality you get from this team. Please feel free to DM me on here to ask me any other questions!
