He was easy to communicate with, and at the end of day, he was punctual with his appointment time. We were in an interesting spot as Jim had to speculate the work that needed to be done...since our closets weren't completed yet...but that was not an issue at all. We discussed different possibilities, and things were put on hold until the work was completed. Fast forward to this weekend. The closets were finished, I let Jim know, and he was able to get to our house today. No surprises...just efficient and timely work. Jim was great in completing the work. Some wrenches got thrown his way, but we left the door open for any extra work that needed to be done, and all went well. At the end of the day, we are completely pleased with Jim and his work. I had flooring installed by Flooring America following some flooding from a bathroom…read more toilet. The Flooring was installed after the flooding restoration was completed. The floor buckled later and the owner came in and agreed to repair. If the floor was not ready to be installed then the flooring company should have said so. They said it was fine and installed it. The owner, Bob, said he would order the supplies and contact me when his installer returned from vacation. He never called and I waited. I complained to the Credit card company. Bob lied and said that water damage caused the problem. There was never any water leaking after the floor was installed. I went into store and asked them to have Bob contact me. He never did. And if the floor was damaged by water then they should have said it needed more time to dry rather than installing it. In another spot the step cove (whatever the edge is called) broke because they did not install it properly. Another piece was to be ordered at no charge. In other locations the flooring has broke as well. Obviously they do not honor their guarantee!
