Despite having an appointment that I called several hours in advance to schedule, I sat for 25 minutes before they even started soaking off my nails. While I waited, I was given colors to look through for about 10 minutes. Once I finally sat down, I found out I had been looking at gel colors the entire time, which weren't even options for the service I had booked. I was then scolded for not already having the "right" color picked out and had different color options thrown in front of me while I was trying to make a decision on the spot. All I wanted was a simple, light pale pink, and apparently they didn't have anything close to what I was looking for. While I was trying to find an alternative, the staff were very clearly talking about the situation amongst themselves in another language, and their tone, expressions, and behavior toward me made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. At that point, I said I would just do the soak-off and figure out the manicure somewhere else. I was then told the soak-off would suddenly be $20 instead of $5 because I was no longer getting the manicure. Considering I was only changing the service because of the experience I'd just had and their lack of color options, I told them I wasn't paying $20 for it. I wiped the product off my hands, left $8 for the few minutes they had spent starting the soak-off, and left. I arrived on time for a scheduled appointment, waited 25 minutes to even get started, was given the wrong colors to choose from while I waited, was then made to feel like that was somehow my fault, and was treated rudely when I couldn't immediately choose from options I didn't want. I rarely walk out in the middle of an appointment, but the entire interaction made me so uncomfortable that I would rather leave with unfinished nails than continue paying for a service somewhere I was being treated that way.
