Dave did a great job. I used the "get bids" option on Yelp and immediately had several responses from qualified service companies. I went with Gutter Guru because they were local, prompt and were definitely less expensive than other bids I received (by more than $150....). My gutters had never been cleaned in 16 years - but with no overhanging trees it hadn't been a problem. Finally saw weeds growing out of one, so I figured nature was telling me something. It takes some skill to climb around on a tile roof while dragging a hose and cleaning apparatus. I have a two story home and wouldn't want to do it. Dave had all my gutters cleaned and done within 3 hours or so, and did a nice job cleaning up the outside (you wouldn't believe how much stuff came out - I was amazed. Probably something I will start doing every few years. If you have a house with trees overhead you probably want to do it every 2 years or so. Cleaned approx. 275 feet of rain gutter and was to reseal corners. Did not advise I should move vehicles in the driveway or close my garage. Using a power blower, they blew debris all over everything at ground level and then tried to leave without cleaning up the ground level mess. While I should have figured out my car might get dirty and debris could blow into the garage, a professional operation would have advised and warned me too. The two corners I was most concerned with and wanted resealed were completly bungled and now leak worse then they did before. read more

Just like many others.. I hired David to hang Xmas lights. (He has multiple businesses ). Part of the deal was for him to come back and take them down. I texted him for 2 weeks with no reply. When he replied he said that he just got back to work after the holidays and we scheduled a time for him to come take them down on Friday. He never showed and never replied. I tried messaging him him again and then he blocked my number. My son tried calling him from his phone, he answered and then hung up on us and then blocked him too. Avoid this company if you can! They said they'll send me before/after pictures once they're done, I never got them! The price was high and I was hoping I'll get high quality service, my gutters were poring water with the first rain. They responded to me pretty quickly, showed up on time for the job and finished on the same day , ironically it rained 1 day after they serviced the gutter, the areas they fixed were not fixed, I tried calling them and my phone number was blocked, never seen a business doing that! I called Gutter Guru to have our gutters cleaned. Dave responded quickly and came out to clean out the gutters on our 2nd story. It was quite a process for him to reach the upper gutters but he did it with no problem. He also readjusted the gutter where the water was not flowing properly. He did a great job and took pictures, before & after, so I could see the difference. He also suggested the gutter guards so the 2nd story gutters will not fill up again. He had time to install those too and did an A+ job for a reasonable price. We are very satisfied and are going to have him back to do some other areas. read more

Where should I start? I was told our tile roof was full of pine needles, and that it needed to be cleaned, but we didn't want to spend a ton of money on it. I shopped around, and David's price was the best. He was on our roof for three days, and the amount of debris up there was beyond belief, after 20 years of never having this done. David stayed long hours, power washing every bit of debris and cleaning out our gutters until he was satisfied it was like new again. I can't recommend him enough! AVOID. Like several other Yelp customer reviews of this "business" David blocked my phone number and failed to show up for corrective follow-up service after cashing my check. I called Gutter Guru on Nov. 9th and spoke to David. I followed up by text with photos and repeated the job request: we needed to redirect the water in one of our gutters from the back to the front of the house, and get a new downspout installed at the front of the house. David replied: "that's just called a rebalance, I will take one end of the gutter and crank it higher. Then lower the part that gets the downspout." He quoted me $500 for parts and labor. When David and his helper came to the house on Nov 27th, they were pleasant. I asked if they could also clean all our gutters, which he agreed to do for another $100. We also discussed more future business: replacement of old gutters at the house and gutter-cleaning at a rental property. David installed the new downspout at the front of the house but struggled to adjust the gutter so that the water flow was redirected from the back of the house. I had to explain the request again because at one point he said that half the gutter would flow to the back and the other half to the front. I began to wonder if he knew what he was doing. By the time they left to get a "part" and came back, it was dark. After fidgeting with the gutter a while longer then testing the water flow, he said there was a hole that needed to be patched, which he did with silicone. He then told me to wait 48 hours and test it. He said if the water didn't flow correctly at that point, he'd come back and adjust it. On Monday Nov. 30th I texted David to tell him that the water still flowed in the wrong direction. He replied "Ok no problem I can come back and check it." We set up a time for Thursday at 2:00. At 2:00 Thursday I texted David to confirm his arrival and got no reply. At 2:20 Thursday I called and discovered that David had blocked my number. My friend called from a different number at 2:30, David answered and told my friend that he'd be at our house "in an hour." David never showed up, never called or texted. He had already cashed my $600 check. By the way, the gutter cleaning was okay but it left a mess on the property that we had to clean up. Prior to writing this review, I attempted to resolve the dispute. I sent David an email on Dec. 3rd asking him to either refund the $500 or complete the job. No reply. David, you owe me $500. BAD EXPERIENCE. BEWARE. read more

We were pleased with his punctuality and the work he performed. When he finished that day, he said his work was guaranteed and if we had any issues to call him. The first rain about 2 weeks after his work, we noticed it was leaking. My husband called David, and he said he would call us back in the evening. No call. Then we called back a few times the following day just to get hung up on each time. He has now blocked our phone number. We have left messages on his phone with other phone numbers and have not heard back at all. So much for guaranteeing his work. read more
