Stopped by here when traveling home from Tennessee. The drive thru wait was a little long, but food was hot and fresh when received. The tenders were small but crispy and seasoned well. The sauce adds that extra something. Overall, good experience.

Great place to eat. Clean and the owner is so personable. Came to our table to talk to us. Food was cooked to order . A+ in our books. Camping in the mountain and stop here to try something different . Loved it.

This Guthrie's was different form the normal and had more than one choice on the menu. I was shocked at the multi item menu, chicken wings, chicken sandwiches, salads and a ton more. I opted for chicken Wong's of course; my weakness lemon pepper. They were pretty good for what they offered and the service was fast and friendly. The only thing I had a problem with is the physical appearance of the restaurant is the dining area, it was designed really weird with themes that did not coincided but together, overall my experience was good.

Signature snack - had to add the toast that was only toasted on one side though. Chicken was dry too.

Not like any of the other guthrie's i have been at in the past. This one looks like the building is about to collapse first off and the inside of the location is falling apart as well. The portion sizes were smaller than the other locations (as in the actual size of the chicken tenders themselves). The meals dont have the same included sides as the other locations either. Just didnt feel like a Guthrie's - felt like some cheap old guy just put a Guthrie's sign on the front of an old gas station.

Eh. This place is equivalent to a Zaxby's for us, but a tad healthier and less greasy. It's sort of on the bland side tbh. The chicken pita was simply a chicken wrap. The wrap was a tortilla versus pita bread. And the chicken strip inside it was bland. The dipping sauce gave it some flavor, but that was about it. The bf's choice of the chicken strips weren't any better. The 5 pieces of chicken were meagerly small. The fries were average. The only good things were the Texas toast and sweet tea. Even after mixing the unsweet with sweet tea together, the result was still surprisingly tasty and sweet. The lunch deal wasn't really anything wowing (the 5 piece chicken strips above). It was like $0.92 off the regular menu price. Well, that was what the bf observed. Lol. Parking was plentiful as Gutherie's was at the corner end of the strip with a drive thru option.

    Enjoying the fingers!!!

Excellent fried chicken fingers! We went Monday night when most other places were closed and were grateful for the good chicken.

We were hungry after 4 hours of hiking and they were very welcoming when we called to inquire about dine in services. We arrived at the restaurant and were immediately greeted and seated. We wanted a special drink to share so we asked for their bar drink menu. They certainly had lots of choices of mixed drinks... some I had not even heard of. We were chatting with our server and all of a sudden there were two more servers commenting on drinks as we asked what was in them, etc. I love restaurants where servers are this friendly. One recommended a couple of the drinks and having never tried one of them we chose the not so nicely named Leg Spreader. It was pretty good and probably sneaks up on you because we could not taste hardly any alcohol. It was pretty good... if you love honeydew melons you will love it; if not try something else. Overall, it was good but not sure if we would order it again. Sometimes you have to stick with the classics. Although they had some healthy choices on their menu (and that is my typical choice), I decided to indulge and ordered a philly cheesesteak which I have not had in many, many years with a side salad. My husband ordered one of their specialty burgers with some french fries. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and wow, did my cheesesteak look good... no photos because I was so hungry I just dove in and completely forgot. It was served open faced. I polished that baby off in no time. It was so good. Full of onions, peppers, even banana peppers and just the right amount of cheese so that it complimented the other items and didn't overbear them. If the roll had been grilled just a tad bit longer so that it stayed a bit more firmer, it would have been utter perfection. My husband enjoyed his burger and fixings... he ended up not eating his roll. He also was happy with his french fries. I did not hear any complaints from him and I was probably too involved in my cheesesteak experience anyways but I have to assume he liked his late lunch, also. Overall, the servers were great. The drink was so good after 4 hours of hiking and we were very happy they were open for dine in. I forgot to even mention that my side salad was pleasantly a decent size and I have to assume that if the side salad was that good that their full size ones are probably excellent. Thanks for the memories, Jeffersons. You were a pleasant surprise.

I am a huge wing fan in general and I love Wingstop. I have…read morebeen a dedicated customer since the place opened in 2000-2001 (?) and probably have eaten somewhere between 2-4 thousand (seriously) wings, in all of their sauces our the last decade. The main appeal for this particular Wingstop is that it is located across the street from the only semblance of so-called "nightlife" in town -- the movie theater. How the owner ever managed to convince the franchise (which is based mostly on the west coast) to open shop in the middle of nowhere Alabama is beyond my comprehension, but it has apparently paid off. Wingstop is never crowded, as most of their customers are just in long enough to pick up a phoned-in to go order. The seating is always clean, the music (though not my taste) is pleasant enough, and the kitchen is open so you can see how clean it actually is. The prices are fair and low. The original hours were 4PM-Midnight daily, however they have since changed the opening time to 11AM to cater to the lunch crowd. Moving on to the food... Wingstop offers 2 custom "freshly made" dipping sauces: Ranch, and the delectable Blue Cheese, which is in my opinion the main point that sets them leaps and bounds above any other wing restaurant as I am a huge fan of dips... Honestly, no other blue cheese tastes this way, trust me, I have tried countless in my wing escapades and no recipe found online can rival it. The great thing is that you can buy the sauce in PINT size containers, and, I shamelessly admit that I have enjoyed the container in it's entirety many, many times. Aside from the dips, Wingstop offers 9 flavors which suit any palette. They have a standard Hot, "Cajun" (which is actually just their Hot sauce with dry Cajun spice mixed in), Atomic (which is almost the consistency of Salsa made of pure pepper and it is obscenely hot) and the standard fare of Mild, Hickory Smoked BBQ, Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, Hawaiian, Teriyaki. For anyone wanting a "variety", I recommend the Cajun, Hawaiian BBQ and Lemon Pepper as those are my personal favorites. In all fairness to the rest of the wing world, Wingstop as a whole is nothing special, but they have decent sauces which all taste great and dips to die for. If for some reason you ever find yourself passing through this little backwoods town, please do yourself a favor and check out Wingstop.

I showed up for lunch here because the place I had originally picked out in Chattanooga was closed. I had been to this Pizza Hut before when they still had the buffet pre-COVID and it was good. Actually ordering from the menu shines a spotlight on how bad the service is here. In reading other reviews, I see they run out of stuff frequently. Today it was tea... No tea in the store at all, sweet or unsweetened. When I first walked in I noticed the sign that said they would seat me. I walked up to the host stand and that seemed to confuse the woman up front (this will be a recurring theme). I guess she assumed that I was there to pick up an order? Not sure why I'd be at the host stand instead of the pick up counter though... I asked her if I could just sit anywhere and then proceeded to pick my table. The tables and floor was clean and for lunch time, not very busy. I also noticed that only two people seemed to be working... The clueless woman (I'll call her Cher) and someone in the kitchen. Cher brought me a menu that was photocopied from somewhere and had small hard to read print. Then she disappeared. Finally she came out from the back to get one of her tables paid out and then she checked on her other tables. Then she cleaned a clean table. When she was done with that, she disappeared again. I still haven't ordered. A woman came in to pick up her pizza. Nobody greeted her. She stood at the pickup counter for an eternity. She cleared her throat, knocked on the counter, said hello loudly. Still nobody came to greet her. Finally she called the store from her cell phone. Cher came out and answered the phone. When Cher finally was finished with the woman, she came to take my order. Finally. I got the $8.00 lunch special, which consisted of a personal pan pizza, breadsticks, and a soda. I got the food quickly enough. It was curiously brought to me by another woman who either just got to work or just got back from a break (at lunchtime?). I thanked her and dug into my food. It was hot, it was everything I expected Pizza Hut pizza to be. No complaints. It's really why this review even deserves the one star I'm giving it. Cher brought me my check. I noticed that I was being double charged for my drink. I mentioned it to her and she took it right off explaining that she can't read the menu because the words are too small. Hm. I paid my tab and left. Again the food was good, but the service was just very sub-par. Maybe when the buffet comes back, I'll be back.
