The rice and beans were excellent and the fried plantains were hot and tasty. I desperately wanted to like this restaurant since I don't fly to Miami any more. Having looked over the website and FB pages, it appears they focus more on the bar scene than the restaurant side of business. Oh well. I may try again.

Soft hot cheese and and a great tomato gravy covered the delicious crust. My Philly cheese steak was nestled on warm soft bread, translucent well cooked onions, peppers and melted Swiss cheese. (Out of provolone) The meat was tasty and well seasoned. Amazing. Look at the picture of the Genoa. You can see how generous the two thick layers of meat was. The sun-dried tomatoes added an extra level of complexity to this sandwich. Instead of oil, a delicious layer of pesto caped off the explosion of flavor. Wow is all I can say. The service was so friendly and customer centric, so different than the normal chaos and rush of the typical NY restaurant that wants to churn you out for the next customer. Great job guys. The best of the south and NYC made the experience exceptional! Not so easy to find but well worth the effort!!!
