I liked gun world a lot at first cause the 'had everything'. Monday that changed for good. I picked up my gun and about $200.00 of accessories. Mistake. The guy I was checking out with grew more hostile with each question. I was tired and needed help. Not with him. At one point he became bossy and aggravatedly pointed out that hollow points were all the same... I was tired not stupid. It will be the store of last resort.

Nice big spacious place. Staff seemed decent. Went in looking for some accessories which they had. Not crowded. In and out.

Ask the Community - Gun World

What are the ammo transfer fees at this place?

How is anyone able to make an appointment, I have called at least 10 times on different days and times, to make an appointment and can't seem to get through?

Can you leave a deposit for the firearm or does it have to be paid off the same day you submit the paperwork?

Does anyone know if this store accepts Apple Pay?

Yes, unless your apple pay is connected to a debit card, in which case, it won't work. Tap also works

The guys at Guns LA are amazing. Awesome selection, great if you're a collector. They always have…read moresomething unique in stock. I purchase all my guns through them, they're very cooperative and helpful when it comes to helping with questions and logistics with current CA rules. If I need work done, or I'm making a purchase I trust them with my hard earned cash (and firearms) thanks a ton guys! Easiest 5 star rating ever. (Someone buy the $10,000,000 hi point)

Um. Nope. Not ever again…read more Over a week ago I got a quote for adding 2 sets of night sights to 2 sliders. Twice by email, responding to my checking the time, they confirmed between 12 and 1 was good to drop off and have the work done while I went to grab a coffee, thus saving me 2 hours, plus riding in the blazing heat, and at least $25 in gas. True to my word, I got there yesterday at 12:30. Surprise surprise. The gun smith was no where to be found. I was told they had no idea when he'd return. They mumbled something about a funeral. LOL. Right. A few sentences later he mumbled a new excuse "an emergency". One would think a funeral happens long enough after the deceased dropped dead that they'd have/had time to plan their time off and make necessary concessions. At that point I should have listened to my gut and just canceled the project but instead I left the sliders and sights there to be installed whenever. I was home all of 20 minutes and got the call they were done. I guess the funeral let out early. Hahaha (no disrespect to "the dead" :) Adding salt to the situation once home I took a moment to watch the manufacturer's video on installation. Admittedly something I should have done in the first place. My bad. Bottom line. If one was ret@rded and worked reeeeaaaallly slow, using no special tools they could get both sights installed in 10 minutes. 1 screw for each front. The backs merely slide in sideways with a couple light taps. So I'm out $100, 5 hours of my time back and forth, over $30. in gas for what amount to 10 minutes of work. Oh and a boat load of "sorrys", can't forget those. Sorry is just a word. Price gouging, highly inflated cost aside... Any reputable business screws up that bad, they'd offer some meaningful gesture of value to compensate for the loss one took coming to them. Not a peep. Not a "Gee we screwed up we'll discount you a dollar." I did get a "have a nice day" out the door tho. Shame. They have a great selection of guns. One I was strongly considering but guess who isn't getting a penny more much less any of the budget for some higher end long range rifles. Whatever ever happened to gun owner's common code of decency, honesty, stand up, fair pricing? It's given away to gouging, greed, unaccountability and bad business ethics. They don't even lie well. Or is this just an Armenian thing?

2nd 5-star Review:…read more I'm in love with GUNS DIRECT. I LOVE THIS PLACE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I ALWAYS GET HERE. Since my first purchase, I've returned for a rifle with a fixed mag, which I learned before picking up I could have converted to "featureless", so I could use replaceable mags. I asked Ramiro about this, and that's how I learned Ramiro is an armorer, and he walked me through the conversion. He sold me what I later found was the best featureless grip handle on the market, and then he completed the conversion for free with my purchase of the grip handle, and my 2 new replaceable mags. I've really appreciated Ramiro's advice, insights, and the personal experience Ramiro has shared with me , which has all turned out to be valid and true. I have the bruises to prove it. I wanted a KSG. That's how I found GD. Thats how I met Ramiro. He didn't lie to me. He warned me about the recoil on a pump action shotgun like the KSG. I said I'd get used to it. He asked if I was sure. I said "I have to." So not only did he sell me a KSG, he stopped me from getting the scratched unit I was looking at, and got me a blemish-free KSG. As a newbie with no mentor to walk me into this world, I was willing to just buy whatever a knowledgeable salesman would sell me, simply accepting that a scratch was just how firearms sales can sometimes be--but Ramiro didn't let that happen. Ramiro really has been a great guide. He helped me pick my first 9mm--S&W M&P 2.0-and it's such a great firearm. It's solid. Reliable. Accurate. Comfortable. Looks cool. Comes with switchable grips. I bought Trijicon night sights on Amazon, and took over a month to make my way to GD for the install, only to find I had bought sights for the wrong S&W 9mm. Since it had been over 30 days, I couldn't return them, but Ramiro not only found me an alternative option (Ameriglo optic compatible GRM tritium) night sights--but also included the install with the purchase. I love my new Ameriglo night sights on my M&P 2.0 9mm! What a difference. And great bang for your buck. And they are optic-ready sights, so I can add the red dot later on. I appreciated being guided so knowledgeably. I follow Ramiro's lead confidently. And while I was there doing this, Ramiro asks me if I had with me the adapters that came with the streamlight I had on my 9mm, because he was offering to fix the streamlight I improperly installed on my 9mm (which was sticking out too far). I did not have them, so he offered to fix it for me if I just brought the adapters. I really appreciated Ramiro's offer, but more importantly I appreciated him pointing out to me my improper installation. I soon realized I could fix it myself. I've since fixed it, and I have yet again Ramiro to thank. To be clear, every single rep at GD has been helpful and totally professional. I've really appreciated the service I've received. Alonso, Danny, Jerry, Sherri, Alex all super helpful professionals. Alonso and Danny both remembered my name, which is shocking because this place is popular. I love love love Guns Direct. My gun shop for life! I already have my eye on two more firearms, and Jerry even has me thinking about a revolver. And Ramiro makes me want a semiautomatic shotgun. I love it!

BUYER BEWARE. Got to…read morebe the biggest scamming, money gouging, greedy gun shop I've ever encountered. They literally make bank on your ignorance and faith that they're decent people. In the attempt to get my new sights professionally installed, having first encountered ha fiasco with a neighboring business GunsLA (above review), I went Guns Bros. to ask about having night sights installed on 2 sliders of my handguns, . The owner quoted me $100. for each! W.T.__! Come to find out, for a job that only takes 5 minutes and that's if you work slow. Seriously go watch a YT a video on installing sights on a handgun. It's 1 screw for the front and the back sight simply slides in from the side with light taps. Per some reports maybe the need to use a jeweler's file to file a micron or 2 off the back sight in order to slide in and fit perfectly. 10 minutes. 2 sights sets. $200.? If they're doing it with a simple job --you can probably imagine it's across the board standard operating procedure. Greedy, selfish mindset like I've never encountered before. Used to be gun people were honorable upstanding honest citizens.
