Mike at Gulf Coast Ford was honest, gave me a fair price and was so kind. He knew I was coming with a baby and had everything ready for me when I got there to pick up my Bronco. Fastest car buy ever. I also went to 3-4 other dealerships within the same week. Had lots of issues with them telling me a price then I drove all the way there for them to up the price. I was getting very frustrated and almost just gave up, Mike did not use any of these tactics and for that I will continue to shop with him and at Gulf Coast Ford for future purchases. read more

If you are looking to waste your time Gulf Coast Ford is the place to do that. From oil changes that take 3 times as long as the their Toyota service center where they only want to sell you extras like air filters and windshield wipers. Only to find out they don't actually look at the important parts of your vehicle, like your tires. Then to trying to scheduling service only to find out that once they have your vehicle it is days before they look at it. Then it is on the customer to call and get updates, since the service techs don't and can't return phone calls. Also, don't waste your time trying to email the service manager or even customer service, because those emails are not acknowledge or responded to either. read more

I had hesitantly vowed not going to bring the vehicle back to this service dept for any unnecessary reasons after taking the vehicle home after an oil change, only to find no oil on the stick ....none ... this was my first service dept. experience. This morning I placed it on ramps to do an oil change myself and FIND 4 OF THE T30 BOLTS NOT THERE, AS WELL AS EITHER of the PUSH PINS on the skid. I do have to thank you in the fact that I've been reassured that the decision to pass on the "free oil change" was the right choice. It's not often that I feel i have something good to say about a dealership, but let me say the service team at Gulf Coast Ford knocked it on of the park! I had to go in to pay some stupid tax - to replace some things on the truck that I damaged :/. While there, I decided to replace the batteries. Instead of trying to upscale me to the more expensive battery, they recommended the standard battery as these are more reliable. Instead of having to bring the old batteries back, I decided to change the battery while there. One of the service men actually came out and changed the batteries out. I tried to give him some money to compensate for his time - wouldn't take it. read more

Took my Ford Escape to Gulf Ford to have a new battery put in as well as recalls fixed. When I pick it up pd over $200 for that service get in the car to drive home and the dang brakes don't work so have to leave it there so they text me the next day saying a hose was bad not letting fluid through it and it was going to be $276 WTH you'll never make me believe that they didn't do something to my escape to charge me more... I've heard so many complaints about them a mechanic I've known all my life said He doesn't trust Gulf Coast Ford as far as he could throw them...Oh well live and learn they won't b gettin a bloody nickel more from Me! read more

Kept our truck for 3 weeks with no work done and constantly gave my husband the run around...took it to a mom and pop shop Dow the street and the mechanic figured out the issue with the truck the day we brought it in as it's a common issue with the Ford trucks for that year. Very sad a Ford dealership can't figure out a common issue with their own vehicles. Mechanic also said they have vehicles in the shop that have been sitting there since February that have yet to even be completed. They need to be straight up with their customers that they are over run with vehicles and don't have time to complete work on new ones brought in. Horrible experience....got the run around for 4 days and STILL haven't given me word if I was approved or not! Communication was the worst I have EVER experienced. Even called to talk to the sales manager twice and never received a call back...typical "car salesman" mentality. Currently have my recently purchased 2019 Ford F250 with only 26,000 miles in for warranty work at gulf coast ford angelton. I was assigned service writer Matt Dobek, I brought truck in forcfeq issues such as u was getting a death wobble shakes at 65mph and vehicle pulled hard to right after 2 alignments and new tires installed and balanced twice also... the seats were unraveling.also right mirror not moving, and the dashboard was buckling from heat in the right side, the window weather striping was lifting from no adhesive at base of Windshield. Vehicle was with techs for over 4 hours on first day. I was advised by my writer Matt that parts had to be ordered and it turned out both mirrors not only one was having issues and they both would be replaced, , Matt also advised that the front seats would be replaced per ford review and approval but not the rear seats. He quoted me an outrageous price to replace rear.. i inquired on winshield he advised me that they never got got to look at it but would on return for part installs., Matt advised parts would take 24 to 48 hours to get in from warehouse. I Followed up 2 days later via phone advised by a different writer since Matt was off that parts are well back ordered and taking weeks to get from Ford. To my surprise Few hours later Matt called me and told me all parts came in and when can I drop truck off but that he didn't have any loaners... this presented an issue as I need a vehicle to move and i was then in plans for the following day to rent vehicle from enterprise. Following day I was enroute to drop off truck at gulf coast ford and Matt called me and advised he had a loaner that became avail. Great. My Truck was dropped off at gulf coast and I tas told it take few days to change out the parts. 4 days passed and I called to check on vehicle ststus and advised Nothing had been to the truck beside what was done on initial visit which was a recall steering dampner add on for the wobble and shakes and pulling to right hard.. which still lis not fixed properly... I was upset that 4 days had passed and nothing had been done... I was provided lame excuse about covid and short staff etc etc.... and how he has over 50 trucks in Service now.....the tech basically told me he would do his best to get it done prior to me leaving out of town as I advised him this was urgent. He then advised me that he would have at the least both mirror fixed by end of day Tuesday and that the seats if they could not be installed in time would have to be set up for return visit. I then advised writer Matt we needed to get it completed and to avoid another visit Ilabd I didn't mind being without truck for another day to get all issues resolved and warranty work complete. Matt agreed and was pushing techs to complete asap to my knowledge. I received a call from Matt letting me know mirrors would would done but the tech ordered the wrong seats and new order would have to be made. I was extremely upset how this error can happen if protocol was followed.. I requested a urgent phone back call from the service manager Brian and Matt advised he would call me by end of day to advise progress or completion. Of truck. I received a call from Brian the service manager for gulf coast Ford few hours later 545pm to be exact. First off what a rude piece of work. He started off very rude and wanting to know why I requested to speak to him... he then proceeded to tell me that his hired trained staff whom he overseas did not get his approvals to order any of the parts I was told was being replaced by ford and that was that... I tried to explain what I had been told and promised already but his service writer Matt and his team... he rudly shut me up and told me they would not be getting done. And that he knows ford would never approve of these replacement parts... i attempted to advise him per his service writer photos and back up had already been sent to ford for review and approved... if not why were parts ordered even if the wrong parts were ordered. Wrong seat covers were ordered not 60/40 split front seat covers.... he then also advised only 1 mirror would be replaced and that's that.... WOW... and this is guy is supposed to be a service manager... Brian truly has no idea what service means as he should since he runs the service department....if approvals were needed from him directly why was he not involved more instead of speaking on things he was not clear of 100%... as he was adamant that the steering dampner was aljust added today but it was actually added week ago when vehicle initially brought in to to checked... Negative stars if I could. Took a car in 16 days ago and nothing was done. Brought it in for a noise and they said they would look at it and no one looked at it. Called a week later and the tech who initially checked the car in wasn't in the shop to talk to us... called a day later and nothing was done. Went in and they gave us a rental until they could finally look it over. Nine days later we stopped in to find out anything. The car has yet to be worked on and no one had any answers. If I could give negative stars I would although they seem friendly and swear that they are family ppl trying to say they are going above and beyond for you they are like any other big name dealer they are really just working to screw ppl over. we spent hours here with my son figuring everything out Dinged my credit agreed on a price and set up insurance paying for it over the phone for the truck we were planning on purchasing so they would go through the finializing paperwork. Once we got to the back room and we were signing paper work and when we were almost done signing and on the last signature agreeing to payments we were given payments that were $200 more than previously agreed on multiple times, they tried to pressure and scam us and that is not anything I want anyone to go through without atleast a warning it would be that bad. read more

Absolutely the worst place to get your ford in for maintenance or repair. They can never "duplicate" what's wrong, they can never copy a simple key without taking several hours. Had an appointment at 8:30am on a Monday and they charged me $60 to figure out that my cabin air filter needed to be changed. They wanted to charge $100 to replace it. Absolutely ridiculous. Horrible service. In my option and my experience the mechanics don't know what they are doing. A lot of guessing at what's wrong with your car. They just try one thing and if that doesn't work they tell you there is something else that needs fixed but charges you for everything they do regardless if they fix the problem or not. I have taken my car in for the same thing wrong atleast 3 or 4 times. I don't trust anything they do anymore and will never use them again. They charged me 1200.00 and my car is still not fixed. It is doing the same thing as when I took it in. BTW this has happened numerous times. read more

Here we are in 2018, I came across another problem with the emissions again. It was the reductant heater. I had the work done else where, only because I was out of town and it was a Saturday. The others that worked on my truck made mistakes and set me back a few days. When I finally got my truck back, the check engine light came back on! I drove home with it on (3.5 hrs) and went strait to the Angleton Ford the next morning. I went in, explained my situation and was relieved when they took my keys and said they would look at it. Less than 1 hour, they handed me my keys and explained a minor step the others may have left out during the repairs and cleared the check engine light free of charge. If I could give less stars I would. We have done business here do many years, bought numerous vehicles and do all our service here so we spend a lot of money here. Yet we have had multiple issues with the service department over the years. From getting our vehicles back dirty to not touching them for days despite having an appointment. This time we dropped our truck off at 7:30am for an 8am appointment on Thursday and at 2:30pm on Friday they still hadn't even touched it. We called and they LIED and said it was in a bay so we drove by and it hasn't moved since we dropped it off. This isn't the first time this has happened. They did the same thing before leaving us a vehicle short for the entire weekend when they hadn't even touched ours. Then they are shocked when we came and picked it up to take elsewhere. They have lost all respectability and our business so we will not be back for any reason. read more

I have bought several vehicles from this dealership over the year and had always had decent service. If I could give this place no stars I would. Took my car in to get a couple of things looked at that were under warranty. Could never get our service writer on the phone through out the day would just be left on hold, twice for 15 minutes before I hung up. When I finally get ahold of her, sometime after 3:00 in the afternoon, she tells me that they have to order the parts one being the backup camera and the other a wheel bearing, that will be in the next day. I ask her, do I go pick up my car and bring it back when the parts are in? She says they have to keep it if I want it to be fixed. Ok, I tell her the warranty we purchased includes a rental for when they keep the car to repair items that are under warranty. She then tells me I have to call their warranty and get them to pay for the rental. I have never done this before.. Enterprise would always call me to confirm a pick up time for the rental that the dealer ship had requested for me due to our car being repaired. When I call the warranty they are confused, and tell me that someone will get with me sometime in the next business day to talk to me about a rental after they call the Ford dealership. I then call enterprise and they laugh and say that the service department needs to call them to make the arrangements for a rental, then Enterprise will call me to go pick up my rental. In the meantime We have called several times to speak to the service drive manager and get his voice mail, had already left 2 messages and he has not call back. So I called 2 other Ford dealerships and explain the situation, they look up my warranty and tell me that I need to talk to the service manager at Gulf Coast Ford, because the service people are supposed to make the arraignments for a rental. After no returned calls, I go up to Gulf Coast and the manager is sitting in his office kicking back. 2 other customers in front of me are also looking very upset and waiting for their service drive person . When I explain to my service drive person what I have been told by the warranty and the other dealerships including Enterprise Rental that is located on Gulf Coast property, she goes and gets her manager and he proceeds to tell me they don't make arrangements with any rental places. I tell them they have always done this and that my warranty we purchased through Ford pays for rental. He tells me that I have to go rent my own car and have their Ford warranty pay me back. I tell them that's not what my warranty says, he tells me as of December of this year they no longer do arrange for the rentals through their warranty. I then tell him to give me my car back and I am taking it to another Ford dealership that I had called earlier. And had gone ahead and scheduled an appointment to take my car in. Plus the Enterprise Rental at the other dealerships location has already called me to confirm my rental for when I drop off my car. (Now that's fast service!) I have bought several vehicles from Gulf Coast Angleton, but will NO MORE!!! I normally would not be so upset about this but we need our vehicle. And the wheel bearing sounded awful. We added the extended warranty at purchase for this reason. And to be told they would no longer do something they are supposed to do is not right. My husband has several MD Anderson appointments in Houston for the next several weeks, and with the noise the bearings had started making, we didn't feel it would be safe to drive back and forth to Houston, and being left without a car was not an option. Disappointed In that they don't tell you that you will not be getting the level of service that you're used to or paid for from them any longer. The smirk on the service managers face as I left said it all. They did not care for the inconvenience they were putting people in. We will be in the market for a new vehicle here real soon, but will take my business else where, where they care about their customers. And one gets what they paid for. read more

i have recently gotten a truck super happy about getting something i wanted especially the vehicle i was in was impressed and head over hills blessed to find out that it was all going to be a lie! me and my boyfriend put 3k down and ran both our credits signed paper work (that i have on a flaah drive). to get told no one put it in im trying to get a house now my stuff is on hold cause someone didnt check their paper work now i dont have the vehicle i traded in they say i dont even own the vehicle i have and they want to re run all my stuff again credit is very hard to get up if anyone knows about it hard to get even a vehicle with good payments and one you like to get told you everything you did needs to be done again because of their mistakes no not good service not good communication im disgusted and upset that now my future plans are on hold cause of someone else mistakes and the paper work i signed is useless even though it has the loan peoples name the dealerships name our names everything is useless just wow. read more

We purchased a vehicle there a couple of months ago. It was quite a drive from Spring, but had several great phone calls with Richard Williams from the sales department and decided to make the drive. We are beyond glad that we did! The price was great, and the customer service was unbelievable. Truly felt like family there, and even had the customer service continue from 70 miles away over 3 weeks later when the car needed a minor repair. Dishonest service department that is full of excuses. Was told they couldn't look at my truck bc it was raining..... The service garage is not exposed so when I point out that they say well they need to drive it first and they can't because of the rain. Then I explain Ford's own tutorials online shoe it taking minutes to diagnose when it's on a lift. My truck had been in their possession for 24 hours so they decided to lie about the weather rather than just admit they were backed up and hadn't looked at it yet. They performed work that wasn't requested by me and decided to go park it outside than to do the work that was actually requested. When trying to contact the service manager I could not because the person who had been dishonest answered that line to prevent me from filing a complaint. Now I am stick driving an unsafe vehicle until I can get it back to the shop because they won't issue a loaner unless it's been diagnosed and confirmed to be a safety issue but they would not bother to perform the diagnosis for days. Retrieved the truck and took it to a big city dealer who made sure they had the parts before taking possession of the vehicle. When told I will let you know what's going on with your vehicle tonight or tomorrow morning I shouldn't have to call you at noon to hear dishonest excuses. Just for laughs.... This is the worst dealership i have ever been to or had an experience with. I was expecting to get my car on my birthday from my father, and the sales person told us it would be here on that day. We waited the whole day for the car and it never showed up. My dad eventually texted the sales person, whose name i have forgot, and the salesman texted back "K".
