An exceptional experience in an elegant yet casual atmosphere. There were four of us and everyone was delighted with the meal.
In true Parisian style we literally opened and closed the place in a lingering dinner of several courses, a variety of wines and lots of conversation.
The service was very friendly, helpful yet also professional.
We started with the Padron peppers and fried eggplant balls. Both tasty and beautifully prepared and presented, as were all the dishes.
I went on to have six oysters and they were exceptional. I have never had such succulent and delicious oysters in Europe and the accompaniments were spot on complimentary.
For my main course I had the duck plate and it was some of the best duck I have had, nicely formed chunks on a bed of string beans and greens with a hearty sauce.
We started with champagne and I went on to Sauvignon Blanc, both excellent choices.
For dessert we shared an apricot selection that we all remarked as very tasty and not too sweet.
The menu isn't broad or extensive yet I believe that helps with maintaining the quality.
