I keep driving pass this little Italian cafe. It always smells delicious passing by. So today I stopped in for lunch. It's take out only, but worth it. I got their Mediterranean salad and sausage sandwich. Both were huge and delicious. Could easily split into a meal for two. What a gong show! We've patronized this place a lot over the years and the food is still pretty good but the front staff whom I thought were expediters are awful. An hour and fifteen minutes for one dish?? Tell me!! Don't say it'll be ready at 6 then have me wait another half an hour while giving me their uninformed lip service that it will be 10 minutes every 10 minutes. Even when I asked for an honest answer so I could do something useful instead of watching the other disgruntled customers my now obvious irritation was dismissed without apology. This has happened too many times - the kids at the front giggle with each other while the cooks labor and customers leave. Sorry, last straw, I can't recommend or patronize this place anymore. Went to pick up Togo food I have had Togo food 3 or 4 times was ok not bad. But this time I got there just before they closed called my order in 25 min before. My sis went in waited 15 min not bad. We picked it up. In a paper bag holding the bottom not tipping it it was really hot so I put it on the floor held the handle. When we got home I picked it up the bottom was soaking wet hot burned my leg and hand as I put my hand underneath to support it. All over the floor and seat. I was very careful but the one tray was so hot and full it spilled. The container could not accommodate the hot full food. My sis ordered a white pasta and the juice seeped through so no sauce.
