From start to finish, the process took about two years and two months, which was so much faster than he initially projected. That came down to how creative he is. We had actual back-and-forth conversations about different ways to get there, his suggestions, and how we could shave time off without compromising the result. He would show me visual previews of the entire progression. If we went one route, here's what it would look like and how long it would take. If we went another route, here's what would change. I could actually see the options, understand his recommendations, and help pick the direction. He kept me involved throughout the whole process. It was literally a one-of-one experience. And the entire staff is out of this world. These guys truly live up to the name Family Orthodontics. It feels like one giant family, and I cannot say enough great things about them. I was so happy with my experience that I recommended my brother. He got braces with Dr. Dean too, and he's having the same amazing experience. Look at the before-and-after pictures. That transformation means so much to me. I'm beyond grateful, and they have my highest recommendation. Thank you, Dr. Dean. You're epic.

I want to give a big thank you to Dr. Austin Hoover for taking such great care of my daughter…read moreduring her wisdom teeth extraction. Dr. Hoover extracted three of my daughter's wisdom teeth in less than 20 minutes, and she only needed local anesthesia. The entire experience was much easier and less stressful than we expected. Before visiting Dr. Hoover's office, we consulted with another doctor in Costa Mesa. We were told that my daughter needed to have all four wisdom teeth removed and would need to undergo general anesthesia. They also performed a CT scan and, after reviewing it, told us that one of her wisdom teeth was very close to the nerve. They recommended extracting the tooth but leaving the root behind. We were not comfortable with that recommendation, so we decided to seek a second opinion from Dr. Hoover's office. Dr. Hoover immediately understood what needed to be done and was able to explain the procedure clearly. We felt very confident in his knowledge and expertise, so we decided to have my daughter's wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Hoover. I definitely recommend doctor Hoover

From my initial intake meeting, getting my prescriptions and directives, going under, and the aftercare, he went above and beyond my high expectations. Dr. Yoshikane and his staff were personable, knowledgable, and easy to talk to from the start. I immediately felt comfortable during a very uneasy and fear induced and anxiety ridden time for me. I had previously gotten my first two wisdom teeth removed over thirty years ago, and the experience was so horrible that I had put off getting the last two out this long. Dr. Yoshikane answered all of my questions and explained the plan and extra plans in the event the first plans weren't working for me after the removal. After the procedure I was under constant watch and care by Dr. Yoshikane through phone messages with my husband. He contacted us for the first three days even going as far as to check on me at midnight the first day of the surgery. Seriously! My husband was impressed with the level of concern and questions that Dr. Yoshikane asked him, because it truly showed he cared about his patient's wellbeing, and wasn't just jumping through a hoop. I just left my after care appointment and everything is going great! My surgical areas are closed, the medications are all working in tandem without residual pain from the surgery. My swelling is minimal, and I get my stitches out in two weeks. I can't thank Dr. Yoshikane and his team of professionals enough for making an anxiety ridden experience into a positive one. I would 100% refer my friends and family members to Dr. Yoshikane for any dental surgery needs.
