It was hot out, but then the ac in the stores were helpful. They have a forever 21, lululemon, banana republic, pottery barn, sephora, gap, game stop, victoria's secret, bath and body works, loft, express, american eagle, dick's sporting goods, pandora, and many more stores. There is few hotels nearby, I stayed at the Hyatt directly behind all the stores. There are super stores nearby - Walmart and Sam's Club. There are quite a lot of food options. I ended up trying out quite a few really good ones. They have Bravo Cucina Italiana - a nice italian restaurant. They have Boston's restaurant nearby if you want a more sports bar vibe. Champps is a great bar as well - they have a few food options with alcohol in it (even dessert). I did not try Capital Prime as I dislike seafood but I heard great things from others. If you are into fast food they have a culver's too. There are many other options that I did not get to try out, but it is worth checking out reviews. Overall, we had a good time walking around. They had music playing one night when we went to Bravo. Everyone had their own lawn chairs too. People were laughing and smiling. Many were seated outdoors to eat and get a view of the fun. It seems like an enjoyable spot

Disappointing there weren't more shops. Not sure if it is on the upswing or the decline, but there seems to be so much potential with this area. DO go to visit what IS there. Cool vibe.

Anyway, the weather on my trip had been pretty mild EXCEPT the damn day we decided to visit Old Town. It was bitter cold and kind of raining but we tried to make the best of it. Old Town is comprised of mixture of local, small businesses and it is also the greater Lansing area's arts district. Indeed there are several art galleries and studios, as well as interior design stores. I walked into a couple of the stores looking for gifts to take home, but found that most of the shops sell tchotchkes. The interior design places had nice stuff, but most of the items were pretty expensive. Al in all, it's a nice little area to walk around in the afternoon. Some years ago I went to an awesome beer festival here; I assume they host a decent amount of festivals in the area. I think that there's still a lot of work to be done in the area, they definitely need more restaurants and a greater offering (and cheaper) at the stores.

Nate was looking to try on some soccer shoes for sizing, and we were meeting my family for dinner at Mitchell's nearby, so we stopped in here for a bit. The store was bright, clean, and well-stocked. We were able to find an employee right away to help us pull sizes. The shoe selection was vast and had some sales going on. They had a huge wall of Stanleys which was so vibrant and colorful! I also noticed some really fun Lions gear. The parking lot is large, but it was quite busy, so you may have to park a little further out and walk a bit.

She provided a print out of the receipt for me. She did not provide a detailed receipt but it showed the date, transaction number, item and amount of sale At the store I encountered the Manager, Eric who as very rude and condescending. He told me I could not return the item even though the customer service representative told me I could. Eric did not take time to look up any information and advised me, the return policy limited returns to 30 days. being confused after this exchange, I then contacted the online complaint department and spoke with a representative (Sabrina) who was also very helpful and researched my issues. after researching the issues she contacted her supervisor and advised me I could return the item to the store after looking up my receipt which included the extended warranty. Sabrina then call the store to speak with Eric about the return. She then advised me I would be able to return the item after speaking with Eric. the next day, I went to the store and spoke with Eric who again was rude and wanted to justify his earlier decision to reject the return as I did not tell him I had an extended warranty. If he had taken time to look up the sale he would have seen that I did purchase the extended warranty. Eric was not customer friendly and I advised him I would not engage in an argument with him. he begrudgingly processed the refund. I would advise that: 1. you not purchase the Maxfli 2024 Hybrid Travel Cover. 2. Retain all receipts 3. document your conversations with all team members I will not be shopping at the Lansing store where Eric is the manager.

It's wild to me that there's a Target on Grand River in downtown East Lansing now. If it had been…read morethere while I was in college, I probably would've spent a lot of money there! This Target is a mini store but has pretty much anything a college student needs - snacks, beverages, apparel, toiletry items, household stuff, things for your dorm, etc. Nate and I stopped in while in town over the summer and grabbed some items. I loved the little statue of Bullseye, the Target dog, because he was wearing an MSU jersey! How adorable. They had a pretty decent selection of MSU apparel too. The self check out stations were quick and easy to use, with no lines. I don't think I'll find myself coming here often, especially since I don't live in the area, but it's definitely convenient!

Yes it's a micro target…read morebut this store still has everything a big target has but just probably 1/2 of the selection. For an example; a bigger target might have 50 different version & colors of plate sets (dishes) & this one might have 25 different versions. This place has tons of groceries (fresh fruit and vegetables, frozen & canned goods). Large supply of food similar to the big store version. This location also has home goods such as bedding, kitchen & bath items. This place also have a decent electronic section but not as big as the bigger version. This location also have clothing & swim suits (of all sizes including plus) but not a big selection. This location offers self checkout out lines only. For parking I just park on the nearest side street by cold stone creamery (metered parking that I tend to not pay for as I am in & out quickly) and walk through the alley to get to the store doors. This location has a back & front entrance you can access on the main grand River Street. I always use the back door as it is more convenient.
