I am satisfied with this outcome. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Classic bait and switch pricing ! I needed to buy set of golf clubs for my granddaughter. After locating a suitable set on-line, I called Golf Galaxy on Monroe Street, near Toledo to verify the set was in stock. I was assured it was. So I drove to the store. When I arrived at the store, I told the sales rep. what I was looking for. The golf set I had chosen was listed on the store's web site for $249.99. The rep. took me to a set of clubs that fulfilled what I wanted. The price placard that was sitting on top of the display showed a price of $249.99. Believing it was the set I'd seen on-line, I agreed to buy. When the sales rep. rang up the sale, it totalled $407.54. I asked how he arrived at that price when the club set was priced $249.99. He told me the price on the placard (that was right on top of the display) was incorrect. He said the actual price was $379.99, though that price did not appear anywhere on or near the display. He told me the set they had listed at $249.99 was out of stock. He would not sell me the golf set for the $249.99 price that was on it. I contacted the Golf Galaxy corporate office to lodge my complaint. I was told the store manager would contact me. So far - nothing. I checked Golf Galaxy with the BBB. The store has an "F" rating and several hundred complaints. I've added mine to that number. Do yourself a favor. Shop elsewhere. P. S. Golf Galaxy and Dick's Sporting Goods are essentially the same store. So be forwarned.
