If there isn't something in the store, they will search their online selection to find exactly what you need. I spent a good 15 minutes with one of the employees trying to find a shoe that met very specific criteria. We weren't able to find what I was looking for, which I expected, but I was very appreciative of the time that was spent assisting me. Overall, it's a great store, just go in knowing of the lack of larger sizes for women.

If you could redeem certain coupons or DSW cash online, I would never come back to this store. She couldn't find any shoes that fit quite the same as her old ones did, but she found two pairs that she thought would work. A couple hours in the new shoes convinced her that they were too loose in the heel, so we returned them and bought two different pairs a half-size smaller. A couple hours in those and she realized they're too tight to wear all day, so we returned those, too. Overall we spent about an hour and a half trying on shoes, bought four pairs, and returned them all, but every employee we met in our three visits to the store was friendly, competent, and professional.
