After my latest experiences with Dunham's, I won't be back…read more Went in last week for an advertised special on gravity chairs. We selected our chairs and went to checkout. When the chairs didn't ring up as advertised, the cashier called a manager. The manager explained that the chairs we selected were not included in the special, even though the price and brand matched exactly with the printed advertisement we brought with us. When we decided to leave without purchasing the chairs, the manager offered us a smaller discount, provided we were willing to make the purchase in two transactions. We should have run, but decided to take the offer. We left, mildly dissatisfied, but happy to be done shopping for Mother's Day. Since then, we found a much better deal on higher quality gravity chairs (for less!) elsewhere and decided to return the Dunham's chairs. We were only able to locate one of the receipts (for identical transactions) and understood that store credit would be offered in place of refund for the chair without receipt. What I wasn't prepared for was the reduced refund amount. We purchased the $70 chairs for around $60 last week at a "manager's special" discount, but apparently the chairs (which were full price again today) were sometime available for $40. Therefore, even though I had just been refunded the full amount on one chair (with receipt), I took almost a $20 loss on the other chair. It upsets me more, because I am certain that if the price difference had been in my favor, Dunham's would have only given store credit for the discounted amount. Even more upsetting was the attitude of the manager who came to help. Upon seeing the lower amount, the cashier agreed it should be adjusted to the refunded amount of the other chair and called over his manager. She was rude and suggested I was lucky to be able to return the chair at all. A little pleasantry would have gone a long way. The next time I need camping or sports gear, I'll take my money to a big box store.

Today, I went in to get my daughters new glove steamed. The salesperson made sure he told me the proper care to finish getting it broke in and more importantly ho told me what not to do. While I was waiting on the steaming, I was able to grab a few small items that my kids will also need. While the store is smaller than the big box stores, they have more of what you need than the big box stores. You can't go wrong here.

It's right near the campus too so easy for people to get to if they are on campus or are coming onto campus by bus. I have 2 Nalgene bottles from here and I still have them after 3-4 years in good condition. This place has sales and a very popular place on MSU's campus even without sales. The staff doesn't burden you and let's you shop but can answer questions you have. My friends have bought sweatshirts and tshirts from here and they still have them in good quality. The sweatshirts are on the more expensive side but come in so many colors that they are preeeeety. :) If you're into North Face, they have a ton of NF apparel.

They'll always be together in electric dreams though. Call me. This mall is pretty cool and fancy and useful for everyone in the Lansing area, and with a traditional layout, with a large food court, and the sad part is it's kind of quiet. The outdoor stores across the street are 34 times as busy. This means that usually, for people who like checking out the hotties of either gender at malls, there are not that many hot people here, and I was left wondering to some degree how the Mall stores pay their bills.
