The…read morereason I chose this store was that I had some comics that I wanted to be graded (getting your comic graded makes the comic that much more collectable) and they were the closest to me. After doing a bit of research on the place beforehand. I was fairly impressed that they've been in business so long and even after a death in the family the business was still running well. They even do Friday Night Magic nights. So after a nice long drive to Lansing. I arrived at the street it was on and my GPS had informed me that I passed it. Twice. There were no signs that I could see. I had to look at a bit closer to see that the store display had comic book memorabilia. I found a nice parking spot in the back and went up around to the front of the store. Come to find out that there are two stores that share the same place. A bookstore in the front part of the store and the comic store in the back. I really didn't have a problem with this except it looked like the book store had been closed for sometime. They did however have some pretty neat locally printed books and I bought them from a lady who had to be pulled from the back room. She was the one in charge of the book store part. So I went to the back and it was really weird. They had a broken down arcade machine against a wall, some random comic action figures against another wall, a few shelves with the new comic releases. At the counter they had various stuff. Mostly magic stuff. I talked with one of the workers and he looked over my comics and informed me there's two ways to grade my comics. The CGC (the main company that grades comics) had a backlog of over a year. But, there's another company that does it as well and it would only take a few weeks. I agreed upon that and they went to go ring me up. Two of the regulars there came up to look at my comics. They looked them over and one of them even picked them up saying that "It's defiantly not a 10" (Meaning that it isn't in the best condition) . They ran my debit card through and for 5 comics to be graded I was charged $90 and was told it would be ready in 2-3 weeks. This was back in August. So October I sent them a message asking why I haven't received a phone call as to the condition of my comics. I got no response. A few months later went by and I tried to get a hold of them on the phone # they have listed on there website. After numerous times trying to call I figured that the # they have listed isn't working or there # isn't what they posted. The reason why I'm giving them one star is that I still HAVE NOT received my comics. I have been contacted by them though through facebook only "Absolutely. I apologize again for the trouble!" So not only am I still out $90 I'm out my comics as well. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody

There are also some Magic and Pokemón cards and memorabilia. It depends on what you're looking for, but I'd say the prices here are reasonable. The employees were kind and asked if we needed help, but we were just looking around, so we didn't take them up on it. If you're not a nerd, this place might be scary for you. It's big and there are a lot of things that may be hard to understand. That said, if you're looking for an adventure, this is it!

They have all the fixings to start you on a d&d adventure including dice, books and figurines. They have cards upon cards for magic the gathering along with the binders, card covers and card boxs. Love comics? They have those too! Best part? You can order things from their site to get sent to your home or the store and it even has a wishlist feature so they can let you know when they get something in stock! My husband was giddy- "Ace, look! I can shop from my computer!" So, if you have a nerdy significant other, stop into the store or check out their online shop to give your love an amazing gift, maybe a Valentine's gift. The owner did return the collection only to be thrown into bags and boxes like trash. All of them that were in the original boxes were returned in bags,now the value is greatly depreciated. It was bad from the start,first we were not properly informed of the auction or given the chance to see the display,which was horribly thrown into piles for auctioning. I expressed my concerns and the owner had his goons buy out the auction,which is illegal to do I'm sure! They did not even display all of the collection,he said they were broken or damaged! We have pictures of how they left my home in the owners care,when we finally picked them up there are over 1500 pieces broken and some unfixable! My grandfather collected these for over 70 years to be thrown around like nothing,he knew the sentimental value as well as the dollar value! I was consigning this collection to save my grandfather's family home and now this experience has left me with half the collection good and half broken due to their negligence and disrespectful business ethics.worst experience I've ever seen. I'm contacting everyone I can to make sure this does not happen to anyone else.​

She was in her 20s, tall, medium length brown hair and pretty eyes (green?). I told her briefly what I was looking for. Among their absolutely huge, vast, and colorful array of stones and crystals, she explained to me the properties of those that may suit me. She never missed a beat in her defining each one. She then allowed me space so I could wander and decide on those I felt I needed. I left with (3) stones and (2) crystals. This young lady is truly an asset to Coyote Wisdom!
