I love to walk through here frequently as I usually find something I can't resist. I found a little lamp for my entry way . Thanks Gary!

I read a couple of the reviews for this very quaint shop and can't believe these reviewers were in…read morethe same place that I was. This "mall" (and it is very much a mall in the strictest definition of the term) is exquisite in its contents, its environment, and its prices. My family moved to Mason about six months ago and I ventured into the Maple Street Mall because I needed furnishings and accessories for our Civil War era built home. I wanted to purchase items that preserved the integrity of our wonderful old house. When I first entered, I was immediately greeted by an extremely friendly woman who was incredibly welcoming. There were so many wonderful choices that I had difficulty selecting just one piece of furniture. I eventually purchased a gorgeous, handcrafted bench and was even able to put it on layaway--a rarity these days. I have been back to Maple Street Mall many times since that first day, and have never been disappointed in what I have found there. The staff remains extremely friendly, helpful, and kind; you can also do some real bargaining, their layaway plan is a dream, and the prices and variety of items remain the best that Mason and the surrounding area has to offer. It is certainly my "go to" place when I need furniture, knick-knacks, or gifts. Several staffers are now friends and have helped to make a stressful relocation much easier. Their semi-annual sales also make reasonably priced merchandise even more accessible. You won't go wrong if you make this little gem in downtown Mason one of your regular stops.

I live your space and it honestly lived up to your description! Warm and inviting and a mystery to…read moreexplore!! Please, let your visitors explore in their own way. I had too many shop employees approach me. I know they want to be helpful, but the exploration is the excitement to finding those "treasures"!! Thanks for the memories!

The owner of this mall contacted me to let me know she believes I mistook her mall or shop for…read moreanother with the previous review I left, and noted that she has a great deal of antiques in her business and does not carry the type of low grade junk and garage sale tsatskes that pretty much every other shop/all in this area sells. I respect her professionalism and the eloquence of her note, and therefore am submitting an edit to Yelp. My purpose in leaving the review(s) I wrote about the antiques shops/"malls" in this area was to save others the drive, the gas, the time, and the disappointment of this misrepresented area. My husband and I go antique-ing every weekend as we are avid collectors. I was an antiques dealer for many years in Grand Rapids, and find it misleading and disheartening when an area advertises itself as an antiques destination only to make a trip to the area and find mostly garage sale junk and one owner who told me the malls have to carry that because they can't survive selling true antiques (I would assert this isn't the case, and can provide a litany of true antiques malls in West Michigan). That being said, I have to applaud any antiques business owner in this area who strives to be a purist and supply true antiques to the area.

Lots to look at in this large shop of different venders. Priced at normal antique store prices…read more Several good displays with a vintage clothing area upstairs. Not a lot of primitive furniture for sale which is what I usually hunt for. Friendly staff. There are several other shops behind this store but they are only open on weekends. I would regularly check this place out if I lived closer!
