This year was the first time I've ever gone to the Gucci outlet store and I've been back another two times since then. I will say that everyone is correct in that the lines are severely long. The first time we came, we got in line about 10 mins after opening and still had to wait two hours. This could have been because of COVID and the reduce amount of people they let inside though. The other two times, we made appointments with a sales associate so we at least got to skip then line then. We had different experiences each time while we were inside. The first time was really slow so they were really attentive. The other two times, it was crazy packed inside and each associate seemed to be taking care of multiple guests so it was a little hard to get their help sometimes. Either way, it's not going to stop us from coming back. They have a lot of great items and sizes for both men and women. Prices are automatically marked down 50% from what they would have been at the regular Gucci store. That alone is worth going and standing in line. If items still don't sell, they mark it down even further. Feel free to let your customers know "ALL SALES ARE FINAL!!!!!!" No signs anywhere advising customers of your lame policy. And the lady that rang us up barely spoke English. I know for a fact she never mentioned your return policy. So now I am stuck with an item I am not 100% happy with. I tried to return it 2 days later unused and in perfect condition with a receipt and they would not credit me back my money. On their receipt they tell you about their 14 day exchange policy, AFTER you have already PAID. They make sure to tuck your receipt in a pretty little card/receipt holder so you wont even notice until you get home or arrive back at the store. Nice scam GUCCI. read more

I've lived in Southern California most of my life and have passed Cabazon thousands of times, but never stopped to shop. I wanted to check out what Gucci had, so I went on a Tuesday afternoon which was a great time to be there. No lines to get in and the the store was busy, but my personal shopper(everyone gets one), Kevin, was incredibly helpful and patient. I liked what they had and ended up getting a great tote and gorgeous booties, both marked down by probably 60-70% off the original price. I'm not sure I'd survive the crowds on the weekend, but mid-week, it was great! read more

I've been here several times and I just haven't had very pleasant experiences here. I've been in the store a total of 4 times and only once did I walk out with items and those were gifts for family. To start, the line is atrociously long and slow--that's not their fault it's all attributed to the "Gucci hype" but still makes for unpleasant experiences. I wanna say half of the bags they carry here are made for outlet bags. The bags that aren't, if you're lucky, are incredibly old or are in undesirable colors which okay its an outlet. They also allow for scuffed bags to be out on the floor which in my opinion is messy and super degrading for the Gucci brand and image. Gucci is still a luxury brand at least make sure dirty scuffed up bags aren't out on the floor?? I know some people are okay with that as long as they're getting discounts and they usually have new bags in the back but I'm not okay with scuffed pieces or made for outlet pieces so I've always passed. The service also leaves something to be desired. Now to my understanding the line exists half because of COVID but also half to ensure that you get the service you need. That is NOT the case here. Every single time I've been in this store if I've even been lucky enough to be greeted by a sales representative, I've constantly been ignored. The one time I was in buying products I was completely ignored by my sales representative for another lady that didn't even end up buying anything . Another sales rep came in and ended up helping us so he got the sale, good for him. But that kind of service ticks me off and should not be allowed at a store like Gucci. I've been to normal Gucci boutiques it's only this location. I guess because it's an outlet store they think they can run down their quality and service to make a quick buck. No. Not in my case. Additionally, they put a heavy focus on wallets and bags and they have hardly any clothes which is disappointing. That kind of solidified to me that this location is less of an overflow/old season dump store and more of a made for outlet type of store. Sorry, but I'm not willing to pay 1200 for a 4 year old design or a made for outlet bag when I can pay 1500-2000 for a brand new flagship runway bag. No thanks. If you're a Gucci lover and don't care about that kind of stuff then this may be worth your time. But if you came here with the same intentions that I did. The line is NOT worth it. Once at the mall, head straight to Gucci; you cannot miss it as this is one of the few stores with a bouncer and line outside. Don't worry; the line moves quickly and allows for a greater shopping experience inside. The mall contracts with a number of international tour bus companies, delivering hundreds of shoppers daily, and this is probably the second most popular shop at the mall (the #1 shop is Coach). If Gucci is your thing, ladies or gents, you are going to have a good time here. Yes, it's last season's line, but the savings are there. One word of caution inside: there's 'outlet Gucci' and 'direct from stores Gucci.' Catch the eye of a friendly salesperson and find out which is which. Outlet merchandise is manufactured and shipped directly to the outlet store, and won't be found in a regular Gucci store. The 'real' merchandise is sent from the stores. Men, only about 25% of the shoes are from the stores and the higher quality is there. Clothing directly from the stores is on its own rack in the back of the store. Many of the messenger bags, belts and backpacks are 'outlet Gucci' and, if this matters to you, ask first. On my last trip, I picked up a direct-from-stores ring for about 75% off. The last time I used it I noticed the Gucci emblem has bad scratch marks and can't think of how that happened! Like many people, I was surprised that Gucci had an outlet store, seeing as many designers try to quietly discount clothes in the full price boutiques, with SA's telling clients about them prior to visiting or during a visit. Because I was visiting the area with my folks for the holidays, we decided to stop in after dinner and walk around the outlets. Granted it was Thanksgiving, which meant the outlets had long lines and lots of people looking for deals. I'll give Gucci credit that they tried to keep things organized by putting up a queue outside the store with barricades and letting in a few people at a time once others left. Staff were pleasant and welcomed everyone with smiles and offered to help out. As many reviewers noted, you will not find the latest styles here - don't come in expecting to find discounted Ace sneakers or the recent season in stock. I did see some pieces from 2016 and 2017 in store from their ready-to-wear line, along with a good collection of accessories, shoes, and purses. I've heard some accounts that the bags are made for the outlets, but I'm 99% sure the clothes and shoes are pieces that were pulled from full priced boutiques once they were out of season. Likely due to the holidays, there were some good deals in store on their hats, apparel, and small accessories when I went. I tried on 3 different skirts and walked away with a 2016 long pleated skirt in a neutral color that can be worn for work or everyday. It was marked down an additional 50% off from the outlet price - a great deal! They even kept it on a Gucci hanger and put it in a Gucci cloth garment bag to protect it. The only downside to this shop is the dressing room area - they have 2 and due to the popularity of the shop, they fill up quickly. They do try to help alleviate the wait by having people put their garments on a rack in order that they came in line, encouraging people to shop more. Parking can be a struggle - everyone wants to park in the free lot versus paying a fee for the garage. Drive slowly and carefully - some people can get a little crazy while hunting for a spot. read more

First of all the staff is great - I felt welcomed and had many people ask if I needed help (which I did) - they were kind and kept the store safe while following COVID precautions. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the store but the product was very...meh. I was hoping to find some GG Marmont bags and they were nowhere in site. Sunglasses were the same shades they have on Nordstrom rack.com but double the price. They had quite a few scuffed bags on the floor which they'll give you for a 10% discount - but, sorry, I can't justify a scratched up GG bag for $1200...disappointing. I really didn't think the pricing was all that great. It's a good spot if you are desperately wanting something Gucci but it's not great if you are looking for something in particular. Plan to spend 2 hours If you want to buy anything at Gucci at this time. The wait in line outside varies from 30 minutes in late afternoons to 1 hour when they open and mid day. Once inside, the line to check out will be another hour because they move at a snails place and there is always about 15 people waiting. This is one of the busiest (and probably most profitable) outlets in the entire outlet but the check out process is ridiculous. The Gucci Outlet The line to get into Gucci was out of control. The line was over a two hour wait. I was excited because I wanted to get a belt bag that I saw in Miami. I wanted in line only to find out that they didn't have that particular style in stock. I think the staff could have been a lot more helpful. I was passed several times however once Misty and Jesus came to assist things ran smoothly. They were very helpful and accommodating when it came some to my indecisiveness. I asked to see a lot of purses before choosing my forever bag. The cashier was very pleasant and assisted me with signing up with the loyalty program. Who says you have to spend a million bucks to look like a million bucks?!? Like many women in the world, I'm a lover of fashion and couture. Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Chanel are some of my favorites, just to name a few. So, if you can find what you want for cheaper than the retail price, it's all good in the world. Unfortunately, like other Yelpers have said, the selection is very hit or miss here. The cheap stuff is usually not that cute, and the stuff you actually you want--- like one of my fave classics: the Gucci web boston in dark brown w/ the green & red stripe--- it won't be on sale or if it is, but it's not quite in tip top condition so at that point, you might as well wait for a sale online or something. I've seen the bags here, and mostly they're the cloth/canvas bags with the large G monogram with a dark color in the Gs...sometimes it's just not even printed that clearly, and I swear they'd never bring those out in a retail Gucci. It seems pretty obvious those are "made for outlet" items. There was a lovely black Emily chain shoulder bag in a display case which was "on sale" for over $1000...but you can go online to Gucci.com now and see that it's only $949 right now...so iono the sales here at this outlet are very hit or miss. You must know your prices and styles. Don't go home with a bag you only "like" because it's on sale!!! You might as well go get a fabulous little Coach purse for full retail price or suck it up and get the dream bag you've been eyeing from Gucci retail. The sales are quite good sometimes though. Like they were clearing out the leather Gucci phone cases and they were only like $40. Too bad I have an iPhone 6 now! Staff here have been helpful to my mother and I. They always try to look for alternate styles/colors/new, unopened products for you in the back and always give you the dust bag! Full service! This outlet was everything! I discovered the Gucci outlet on my way to Coachella valley. When I saw Gucci from the car window I almost screamed. I've never seen a Gucci outlet and I was excited to see what was in store. I arrived on a Sunday at 11AM and there was no line. My sister, friends and I were greeted immediately and the search was on. This outlet carries pretty recent styles for GREAT prices. My sister purchased a bag for $1200 that had an original price tag of $2800. $1600 difference? Are you kidding me? Ring it up. Please. Our SA Pablo was the best. He was very patient as we tried items on, changed our minds, tried on other items, asked questions etc. I would recommend anyone visiting the palm spring area to check this place out. read more

I visited this store last week and I was very impressed with their inventory and their customer service. I was one of the first people in line because I arrived 2 hours before opening. I've read horror stories about the long lines and wait times but it was not a bad wait. I wasn't able to find good deals in the children's section but the women's and men's sections had great items and reasonable prices. Also, they had lots of wonderful items in the 'special pricing' section - which has additional markdowns. The sales associates were very attentive and happy to assist. I was able to find a lovely coat and a sweater I had been wanting for a long time. The cashier forgot to remove the sensor on one of my items and I had to go back after the sensor went off. Kind of embarrassing and I am glad the sensor went off and I did not drive to back home with the tags/sensor on. I highly recommend you arrive early so you can avoid the wait in line. read more

This location, not quite as low in prices, but I assume it is depending on what kind of sale is going on. Waiting in line to go into a store is redic, not doing it, but busloads of people are, so be patient. You would think they are giving the bags away seeing how long the check out lines are, it is CRAZY! I have found some great deals on shoes here, you can walk away spending hundreds instead of thousands, that can be a great deal or still too much depending on how you shop. It was very well organized and strict safety measure in place during this unprecedented time of COVID19. I was there a couple minutes before opening of 11am, and there were already about 40 people lined up but still all 6 feet apart. Some areas had sun umbrellas to help cover for shade. The time it took to get in the store for me was about 22 minutes, but of course wait-time varies based on how long the people inside take, so I may have gotten lucky? Before entering they check your body temperature near your arm, they provide you with hand sanitizer and you'll need to wear a mask as it's enforced for the entire mall. Inside had all sorts of goodies, from shoes, scarves, glasses, belts, clothes, phone cases, bags, and kids/baby items. Staff were all helpful, attentive and quick to answer questions. My belt that I purchased did not come with a dust bag. This was explained to me just before being rung up. This was after an associate told me she will leave it bagged and ready while I waited in line which took 10 minutes. I wasn't going to spend another however long to find something else that DID have a dust bag you know? That's their job to tell me from the beginning.
