Most of my gripes are with Emilio, but the company as a whole is almost entirely unreachable when they are tearing up your home and leaving you with nowhere to live. I was told the job would take 3-4 days and they scheduled it for last week Tuesday-Friday. On the Monday right before they called me to cancel the work on Tuesday claiming they could get it done in time. I gave them my keys and stayed in a hotel during this time. Wednesday was fine enough, but Thursday they left early citing equipment issues with no clear timeline after of how long the job would take and then ignored me most of the day. On Friday, I asked them to call me and instead got a bunch of text messages and no calls, but the texts claimed they would open up Saturday and get a majority of the work done so I could pick up my pets and check out of my hotel and come back for over between 3-4pm the weekend and then wrap it up on Monday if need be. I said I would need to check out of my hotel by 12pm and get my pets by 1pm so they confirmed it would be in a livable state. They were unreachable all day and when I showed up at 5pm with 4 pets and nowhere to stay, they were still working on site, dust plaster and spackle everywhere, drywall in a stack in the living room, no lights in any of the rooms, and the work maybe halfway done, but they claimed I could safely live there with 4 small animals even though they claimed they needed time for the dust to settle. The crew got a hold of Ray from the company who had no idea why I would be quoted 3-4 days when it normally takes 7-8 at least. Him and Denis said they would talk to the office to make sure something was done for me because of all the trouble they put me through. I then had to spend 2 hours in my car with 4 animals calling 11 different hotels in the area begging them to let me stay there with my pets even though they all have pet policies. I had to drop an extra $1,500 on this hotel because nobody worked Sunday (that's to be expected it is normally a day off), but I also came to find out nobody worked on Monday because they failed to schedule a crew to continue a job they were nowhere near finished with. It took all day Tuesday and Wednesday to actually get it back to a state where they said I could come back and I still found plaster dust all up inside my bed, animal beds and toys, cabinets, rooms they didn't even work in, under and behind all the furniture, and also chunks of the old ceiling, staples, screws, and other debris from the project they failed to clean up, the ceiling needed more paint, the caulk job was really obviously lazy and drooping. I was still having to call them to have people come back on Thursday and Friday because they rushed the end of the job and the detail work looked terrible. I got nothing but a bad attitude from Emilio when I was rightfully upset that the workers kept doing a half ass job and then asking me if it was done enough for them to leave and I, someone who knows little to nothing about drywall installation, had to keep pointing at big ugly gaps between the drywall and the wall for them to fill in and even out and paint over and it still looks like shit. All they can do is ask for money while offering zero remorse for the terrible job they did and all the stress and anxiety they put me through, just a lot of fake words and dodging phone calls and long texts. You have to call 4 different people and harass a secretary to actually get them to respond. Absolutely zero professionalism or attention to detail. I would get texts some mornings asking to let the crew in when they already had the keys, I would get promises of times before the person on the phone would check in with the crew so I would show up and they would be like "oh wait they need another hour or two I'll let you know." A lot of horrible excuses, no customer respect, trying to finish the job quickly and messily so they can get their money and run.

I asked him how he wanted me to do this - he suggested I drill pilot holes in each wall or pay a 3rd party to do this and that ARC was not responsible for verifying the details of our home. Not responsible for validating a critical project detail before having you customer pay thousands of dollars?! Extremely poor customer service and frankly, a lazy sales team.
