This was my first time to use Guardian. We had recently moved into a used but fairly young house and apparently the chimneys had not been maintained. I found Guardian on Angie's list and they had a very high satisfaction rate, so I called them. Our serviceman arrived on time and was very knowledgable and able to answer all my questions without any hesitation. He inspected and cleaned both chimneys including going onto the roof and inspecting the top part of the chimney. He gave us a clean bill of health for the chimneys after cleaning and inspecting them. Our total tab was $280.00 for 2 chimneys and well worth it in my opinion. I will continue to use them for chimney maintenance and will also look into having them clean the air vents/ducts in the house as I don't think that has ever been done. Have used Guardian the past two years. The teams that have shown up are professional and courteous and get the job done. This year, Guardian ran a promo to add a service for a very modest price. The tech admitted they weren't making any money because the promo accidentally went out to existing customers. But they were honoring all requests anyway! So in addition to my two chimneys, they cleaned out the lint from our dryer. The service technicians have always been patient and polite. They answer all my questions and have even taken the time to show me what they are doing when I have asked. Great service. Fair prices. They have always shown up on time. read more

We've lived in our house for over twenty years and we've had good chimney sweeps and we've had bad chimney sweeps. Guardian Chimney Sweep was easily the best we've ever had. They even made my mother-in-law happy, and that is saying something. They came in, were careful not to mess anything up, did their job and gave us some sound advise on how to maintain our fireplace. I got a real education on safety and dryers vented through the roof! I wish I had taken a picture when he came down... I don't think my dryer vent had ever been cleaned since the house was built in 1978. I moved into the house 2002 and suddenly 15 years later my dryer wasn't drying. I am grateful my house didn't burn down. Don't wait 15 years to have your dryer vent cleaned. Too many house fires are caused by dryers. read more

Guardian Team came out to clean my chimney, and saw that my fireplace was missing some key components, in order to look its best and work most efficiently. They cleaned the chimney and air ducts and found an unexpected issue with the chimney which Chris was able to repair preventing further damage.
