There was another negative review by someone else about Dr. Adams and his use of the DNA appliance, and that also appears to have been removed. I hope people don't rely solely on Google reviews. According to another reviewer, her negative review was removed there and followed immediately by a stellar review. Here, again, is my review. I was oversold on the DNA appliance by Dr. Gary Adams. It cost $10K, and made no visible change -- which is what I came to him for. My back teeth are somewhat better aligned, but I never would have paid for that since I had no functional issues. He never told me that this appliance is used exclusively for people with sleep apnea and TMJ, neither of which I have. (His website at the time I sought treatment didn't indicate this either; it focused on the appliance's ability to grow bone.) I used the appliance exactly as prescribed -- I was trying to correct a slight underbite -- and it did absolutely nothing. My smile and bite look exactly like they did before. I hope this review keeps other people from making the same mistake I did.

As you can see in the right photo, my smile is much wider and less "gummy" looking. Another thing I've noticed is that my voice has gotten deeper and and my vocal range broader (I'm a singer) since wearing it...Of course I can't say for sure it's the appliance, but I've heard of similar results in other people. Dr. Gary Adams as well as the rest of the staff have been amazing to work with as well! Would highly recommend them :)

Nicholas Dental Care gives you all the warm and fuzzy feelings that you would NOT expect from a dentist office. STAFF: Every staff member I've encountered has been beyond pleasant. They make personal connections with their patients and are non-judgmental. As a wheelchair user that had a horrible experience as a child, the staff makes sure the office is accessible and my visits are always comfortable. OFFICE: Each workspace is separated with an open wall and large windows. That helps you feel private, but not claustrophobic. The windows are a welcomed distraction if you're not watching a movie where the TVs are strategically mounted on the ceilings. Super smart! I got even more comfortable with dark protective eyewear, a warm blanket, pillow, and volume-adjustable headphones provided by the office. Super duper smart! DENTIST: Beyond the cool perks and friendly staff, I returned because Dr. Nicholas is a talented dentist. He is kind, gentle, patient and uses high quality products. I've had fillings, crowns, and even root canals and they were all as close to pain-free as you can imagine. You will not be disappointed. Trust me! Check out Nicholas Dental Care. They have flexible hours and many payment options.

If you're looking for someone that will be honest, straight to the point, and give you a quick and painless procedure, then Dr. Muul is your guy! I had all my wisdom teeth removed years ago. I was worried, and it was over before I knew it started. Since then, I've gone back twice for growths on my gums. For my most recent visit, the growth was much bigger than before and I really thought it was going to be a terrible procedure. Dr. Muul explained everything that was going to happen. He could tell that I was nervous and said he was going to 'test' the novocaine. But, literally 2 minutes later, it was all done. He gave me an Rx for a one week supply of pain medication, but it was done so well, that I hardly felt a thing even when the novocaine wore off and the days afterward. I never had any complications at all and it healed as if nothing had ever been there. When I returned for a final check-up and care instructions, at my request, he also looked at my x-rays from a new dentist I had gone to and gave me a second opinion on the need for a nightguard. Although he does sell nightguards, he said my dentist should be able to do it, but if they could not, he would be able to help. I strongly endorse Dr. Muul!

I…read morewas extremely nervous and expressed this to his staff and to him directly but no one seemed to care. Dr. Muul had no bedside manner...he wasn't friendly...or personable and certainly didn't do anything to alleviate my fears or nervousness. He just began discussing my X-ray. I will say that it was a relatively painless procedure(so thumbs up for that) but he didn't take note to the fact that my breathing was labored, my chest was heaving and I was stiff as a board with fear because I had no idea what was happening. I began crying the second I confirmed that he was done and he told me to have a good day without hardly glancing in my direction because he was already talking to the assistant about the next patient. I was asked to fill out a comment card and didn't feel very comfortable actually writing all of this but realize that I should let people know that if they are the types(like myself) who need a bit of kindness and some hand holding when it relates to the dentist/dental procedures...this is probably not the office for you. Are they professional...yes...very! Did I feel the doctor was competent...absolutely...he did a good job and I didn't feel pain at all. The good and the bad...I felt I should share.

We had high hopes for this dental practice, especially since we had almost a six month. Wait to get…read morein, but our experience was frustrating and disappointing. I scheduled back-to-back appointments for my husband and I, fully transparent about the fact that we would have our toddler with us. Was told that would not be an issue! My appointment was for 8 o'clock and my husband's appointment was set for 8:30. They came out to get him at 9. When my husband expressed concern about bringing our toddler back, without my appointment being done, he was told it would be fine. However, still feeling uncomfortable, he chose to reschedule--and was initially told that was acceptable. When I came out my appointment at 9:15, and didn't see my husband in the waiting room I inquired where he was? The receptionist told me that he had left because he did not want to bring the toddler back with him and that he can reschedule. When I inquired about whether or not he could pop back up now, since it was only 915, I was told no that his appointment was slated to end at 9:30 (even though he had just left the waiting area less than 15 minutes previously). The receptionist offered an appointment for Tuesday, and I said I could not accept it without conferring with him. When I got to the car and he said it would be OK, I called up to the desk and set the appointment. No issues. What we didn't expect was to have the new appointment canceled minutes after via text with the explanation that "Dr. Eric was unhappy that we lost an hour appointment on our schedule this morning" and that they needed to accommodate other patients on their waiting list instead. I did call and speak with the office manager, who basically informed me that I did not schedule back to back appointments instead, I scheduled staggered appointments which is different. She told me that Dr. Eric heard my husband say he was going to reschedule and heard the whole conversation and it was his call to make. As I explained to the office manager, when I spoke to the doctor at the end of my appointment, he made no mention he wasn't going to see my husband. I know it's a moot point because we won't be continuing with them anyway due to moving, but still--their response felt unnecessarily punitive. While we understand the importance of keeping a full schedule, patient comfort and flexibility should also be prioritized. Had we been informed upfront that rescheduling could result in cancellation, we would have made a more informed decision. Instead, we were left feeling dismissed rather than valued as patients. Professionalism and understanding go a long way in healthcare. Sadly, this experience left us questioning whether patient care is truly the priority here.
