I was told by an assistant that they fit all crowns that way and that the 'line' was my underlying tooth and that it was fit properly. But, it was recommended that I get a 'filling on the side of the crown to protect the tooth.' Really? So Dr. Gary Goodman leaves the bottom of a crowned tooth exposed purposely? I was told the remedy if I wanted my tooth covered was to pay for a new crown or put a filling there. Would never trust him with any dental care in the future.

He told me my teeth would like the man's if I didn't do everything he says. It took 3 visits to get even to impressions for the replacement of outdated cosmetic work I came in for, trying to sell me things I didn't ask for or physically need. This has never happened to me before. His office forced me to have and pay for xrays when I just had them within a few months at the previous dentist. The cost for an exam was about 40% higher than my previous dentist. The total estimate for cosmetic work was much higher, too, and they refused to provide a breakdown of the total cost. When I asked, I received an unsigned email canceling me as a patient. His office does not return calls. They sent me an email that required google permission from them to open my image files, and they won't answer emails. Finally, I was afraid they would show other patients my camera photos, so I asked them to remove these from their system; they refused.

Dr. Samson is always friendly and upbeat and quickly puts to rest the concerns I may have with my teeth and then fixes or corrects what needs to be done. I am comforted that when that chip or crack happens, I have a top-notch dentist in Dr. Samson that I can depend upon. And every six months I have my teeth cleaned by Charlene. To the point that I put things off way too long because I would rather almost do anything than go to the dentist. I mean almost anything. Unfortunately, I had a terrible toothache and was forced to reach out for help. Chesapeake Smiles had good reviews, was close to my home and the photos looked great. I was able to be seen as an emergency patient the morning after I reached out. 24 hours after I was in the chair getting things fixed. I had a root canal and also temporary crown made. Pricing was very reasonable and the best part was that they were all very empathetic and respectful and patient with me! As someone who is frightened, Dr. Masood, the two different dental hygienists and the front desk staff were so understanding, kind and prompt. Most of the time I feel like dentists are very accusatory and a bit judgemental (could very much be my personal perception of course) but, no one here was.
