After all my "interviewing" dentists, I would have "hired" him. I called to schedule the procedure but there wasn't anything available for weeks. If I can't find someone with the same kindness, I will return.

This review is long overdue. Dr. David Liebeskind, my family dentist for many years, is the best…read moredentist on the planet. I'm 64 years old and I've had as much radiation for tonsil cancer earlier in life that a human can survive. And fortunately it worked, and cured it. But my teeth were a casualty. I was told I'd have "tooth problems forever" and it was the truth. But to my immense good fortune I've found the most wonderful dentist who has cared for me and my family (and several of my friends) for years. Whatever goes wrong, he fixes it. And no matter what work has to be done, he gets it done and it's 100% painless every time. To look at my teeth, you'd never know I have chronic tooth problems because he keeps them in such good shape both structurally and cosmetically. To complicate matters, I can't open my mouth as wide as normal people can. My jaw muscles are very tight from the radiation. So performing dental work in my mouth is particularly challenging. But Dr. Liebeskind is always patient and understanding and talented enough to perform whatever needs to be done, never complaining about how difficult I make it for him. It would be fine if he wasn't also one of the nicest people I've ever met. But he is. And I wouldn't complain if he didn't have the nicest, most professional staff. But he does. I enjoy seeing them as I do old friends. I'm retired from a leadership position at the FDA where I knew countless physicians of all stripes. And then I served as a hospital VP for 8 years and worked closely with literally hundreds more doctors. I don't throw superlatives for doctors around lightly. Dr. Liebeskind is the best dentist, period. These days as I'm retired to Delaware I drive 3 hours to see him, and I'd drive farther if I had to. You don't know how lucky you are to have found him. The whole office runs like clockwork and is truly client-centric. I have never been kept waiting past my appointment in almost 10 years of patronage. I've had cleanings and fillings but mostly crowns; all feel and look wonderful. Fees are reasonable for top-notch dentistry. In fact I have dental coverage through my Kaiser Permanente health plan but have never used it since I wouldn't think of changing dentists!

My appointment got delayed because of the pandemic, and then when I rescheduled it, I straight-up forgot the appointment because it had been so long since I'd gone anywhere! The front desk lady was super kind about that. When I finally got in for my appointment, they were very gentle about the cleaning and x-rays. The dentist said I needed a little work, but nothing unexpected. I find them very credible and trustworthy. Dental appointments during a pandemic are going to be unnerving, but they were really careful and consistent with PPE and hand-washing. I feel comfortable enough to go back next month to have the work done (IRS rules mean I'll lose money if I don't).

The charge for the xrays was $1000 and I never got to see them or have them explained. Young called me but she was totally confused about which teeth she was supposed to look at. She made no sense. She blamed me for telling her the wrong teeth which was a bold faced lie. The teeth were marked on the sheet from the general dentist with the numbers, plus I pointed to them. This girl Young is a theif and a fraud. I flushed $1000 down the toilet and she is not qualified to do an evaluation, and I am still in pain. DO NOT go here under any circumstance. I would like to add that the dentist chair was DISGUSTING with a large deep slash all the way up the center. The problem is, sometimes when your are in pain, you stay when you should run out the door. The "dentist" needs to google what happens when a practitioner threatens someone for posting a truthful review. Doll, I'm so so scared! Too bad you have to THREATEN people to get good reviews.
