I was initially there to conduct comparison shopping at the time; however, the availability and competitive pricing of products (e.g., cabinetry, quartz countertops & sinks) prompted me to go ahead and initiate an order with Phillip for purchase and installation accordingly. I especially liked having the opportunity to raise the height of the countertop backsplash from 4" to 5" and to order custom-made cabinets for the bathrooms if I so desired! The project from start to finish took approximately one month, and Phillip was diligent about providing intermittent updates. The installers, Jesse and Juan, were timely, organized, respectful of the property and noticeably competent. I appreciated the fact that NGKB owner, Allen--who also served as the project manager--took the time to QC the installation upon completion! A special shout out goes to one of the contracted plumbers, Beto, who went above and beyond by providing a high level of service and expending the quality time to ensure that everything was functional and operational! Once I paid them for my fence, their communication and willingness to repair my poorly built fence went downhill. On their first day on the job, they arrived two hours late and "accidentally" tore down my neighbors gates. Although they agreed to repair them at no cost, this still prompted problems with my neighbor. After their first day on the job, they left cement, trash, hardware, bottles and their materials littered all over my yard and did not notify me when they were leaving or returning the next day. On the next day, I noticed that they had installed one of the posts on my neighbors property line and when I pointed it out, they responded with "yeah we did that so it wouldn't press against the tree". When I asked them if they could put the post back on my property line, they pulled out the post that had already set in cement and reused it by digging a larger hole and pouring more cement. In their contract under provision 7, it states "contract warrants all workmanship for a period of one year following completion". In addition, provision 1 states "all work shall be completed in a workmanship like manner and in compliance with all building codes and other applicable laws". It has been less than one year since my fence was installed and 5-6 of the boards of my fence were not nailed down properly, both of my gates would not open and Queta construction is refusing to replace the post that is consequential damage of their team installing a post off of the property line and reusing the same post after it had set. To top it off, I was told that my post split due to "sun damage" even though I paid for cedar, weather treated lumber. Queta agreed to nail down my posts and fix my gates, but only after not showing up for the job on 3 separate occasions. I would not hire them again and wanted to share my experience with photos as evidence of their negligence to follow through.

Not only did Mark and Daniel's workmanship exceed our expectations, they were respectful of my home and family and the knowledge of their craft was top notch! They were honest, forthright, and a pleasure to deal with! The excellence in workmanship and quality of the Legacy personnel has been absolutely FIRST RATE! We had a problem with one of the Cabinets that was installed at the very end of the project (not done by our primary crew). Legacy immediately agreed the workmanship did not meet their expected standards and they are in the process of correcting the problem. I would definitely recommend Legacy to anyone planning a major bath or kitchen reno. Our Bath renovation involved several complex tasks which I would not trust to a General Contractor. They executed each task flawlessly. 1) Legacy needed to add a new 3" drain for the Jacuzzi tub which required cutting several feet out of the foundation which included tension cables. 2) the flooring tile involved laying them down at a 45 degree angle, with varying patterns. 3) the floor of the shower was a very complex mosaic pattern which had to be laid piece by piece and was done to perfection. It took the guys almost 1 hour/sq ft to lay. We will definitely use Legacy on our next renovation!

The first time he called, my husband spoke to a guy who said they needed to see the key first to see if they could do it. Fair enough, but they could have looked the key up first on Google or something. My husband forgot to ask how much it would cost IF they could do it, so he called back. A woman took his call and was short with him, as if she didn't want to be bothered. She snapped, "Oh no - we can't do that!" My husband told her he just talked to a man who told him to bring it down. So then she said "Oh, okay. $2 or $3." When he arrived and handed them the key, she took one look at it and "No we can't do that!" She was very abrupt. We would have shopped a bit for other things, we got the clear impression that our business wasn't wanted. For anything. They were not busy at all. I can understand that they couldn't make the key, but a little more kindness and perhaps some initiative to find out exactly what kind of key we needed would have gone a long way. Since they make keys, and are no doubt familiar with modern fob type car keys, a little engagement of the gray matter would have saved everyone a big hassle.
