I bought a fixer-upper in Vancouver that needed a lot of work. I'd never hired a contractor…read morebefore, so I took my time interviewing people and met about 5 contractors. When I met the CHS team I felt immediately comfortable with them, thought we had excellent communication, and decided they were the team for me. They've done great work on every aspect of my huge remodeling project. They've done flooring throughout my house, put in a completely new kitchen and 3 bathrooms, all plumbing and electrical, expanded my bathroom, and moved my laundry room. I'm having work done in the yard too, a retaining wall and garden are being built, and they even built me a chicken coop! They prioritized getting my ADU above my garage finished first, and I was able to rent it quickly. I've had great experiences with them and all their sub-contractors. Everyone I've met has been professional and great to work with. Since this was my first time hiring a contractor, I'm so glad I chose them! Highly recommended!

We initially hired CHS Construction & Remodeling to get rid of all the dated, oak wood in our house…read morewith new cabinets, doors, baseboards, trim pieces, etc. Along the way, we requested what amounted to be a full house renovation, including a new kitchen with quartz countertops, removing our fluorescent lights and replacing them with modern, recessed lighting, and a cut out in the wall with a bar top to make it feel more open and useable. Additionally, they replaced all the flooring throughout the house with LVP, new subfloors so we wouldn't need any transition strips, new toilets and fresh cabinets in the bathrooms, new hardware/handles/pulls for all the doors and cabinets, and they re-hung our TV into a new spot. They touched up paint that needed to be touched up, and small details that we requested things for, they addressed. Bruce, Izack and their entire crew were easy to work with, polite, and respectful. Finding contractors who are trustworthy is becoming harder to find these days. They even found a water leak early on in the project, and dealt with our insurance company for us and made sure everything was taken care of satisfactorily. Very happy with our experience working with CHS!

We hired Michael and team to do a master bath and half bath remodel Feb-Mar 2025 and they did an…read moreexcellent job. The master bath was about 60sq ft (excluding alcove shower) in a 1999 3-story condo, and the job scope included: demolish/remove original alcove tub, sinks, vanity, mirror, vinyl flooring, baseboards install new tub with 12x24" tile shower walls install new shower fixtures at taller height install 12x12" tile flooring install new plywood, solid-door vanity install new porcelain sinks and hardware install shower curtain rod install vanity backsplash tile install tile baseboards The half bath was about 25sq ft and the job scope included: install new toilet with appropriate flange install new stand-alone vanity install sink fixture Michael and Chevy did the work themselves and met every timeline. Michael was responsive and communicative, quickly notifying us of changes. He got the job done with high-quality standards and within a reasonable timeframe, despite delays and set backs. For example, in late Feb 2025 there was a significant snow/ice storm that delayed the project by 2 days. Michael showed up on the weekends to continue the job to try and make up time. He was consistent, reliable, and transparent. Another example: Our master bath floor was not level enough for the tile, and Michael was clear and open about what had to be done to get the job finished to a top-quality standard. It added a couple days to the timeframe (and some cost), but the final result was well worth it. Last example: The half bath toilet flange had several errors from the original build and contractor work, and the toilet we bought had a manufacturing defect (leak) we found after installing the toilet. Despite these obstacles and added time, Michael brought the flange to code, uninstalled the defective toilet, and installed the defect-free replacement. There were several curveballs with our job and Michael handled them professionally and courteously, making sure we were involved with every change decision along the way. We are thinking about hiring him for our second (guest) bath remodel, and wish him all the success a small business owner can have!

Mike and his team from PNW were outstanding. They went beyond their responsibilities to fix the problematic wall and also proficiently painted the rest of the downstairs. Mike kept us updated daily and ensured a positive result. The work was not just beautifully done, but Mike and his team were genuinely friendly and grounded. We were so impressed with their work that we're already in the process of getting new estimates from them for our upcoming projects!
