Several people did come up and ask me if they could help, but they had no idea of the item or where it was (training). I really prefer another Target, but I will not compare as each place stands on it's own merit. I did have a bit of difficulty in navigation the stock, but in the end, stumbled across what I was searching. Long story short, it has potential, especially if they do a renovation in the corporate wars which is in full swing. The people were nice, not many folks on the checkouts, with some lines. Yes I will return. I hope them the best in the future.

Located in off of Frontage Rd, off I-25 in Southpark Meadows, Best Buy is in a safe part of town in…read morea lively area. I'll admit, I love Best Buy. I have a very expensive home theatre, a bunch of CDs, DVDs, Blu Rays, 4ks, Xbox and Nintendo games along with a Galaxy Fold 4 phone and accessories. I list these products b/c many of them aren't available at Best Buy anymore. With the advent of streaming, Best Buy no longer carries physical media. So, when you stream Toy Story 2 and say "hey, where's that scene with Stinky Pete?" well that's because Disney has altered the movie and unless you have a physical copy your memories are all you have of the scene. Or perhaps you purchased a game on Sony's streaming service, yup you don't own that either. My point is Best Buy isn't there to give you an option to streaming anymore and their floor space has opened up to even more boring and drab "knick knacks" instead of electronic goods. Now I will admit the people are very nice and they have a dedicated checkout line! Trust me, I went to one in SC and they didn't have dedicated cashiers nor registers! At this Best Buy employees are more than willing to help out with questions and they seek you out! I like good customer service, something that has been lost over the years. The floor plan is relatively well planned however they're shrinking a lot of DIY items like wire lengths, and don't have a robust selection of almost anything say like keyboards, mice, you get the point. This seems to be a corporate initiative because I see it at a lot of different stores. I'm to the point now if I really need something and want to go to Best Buy, I'll look it up before first. I mean I'm someone that enjoys browsing but I also like finding what I need for a particular item the store should carry. Now, I've found this Best Buy seems to have stock a lot of items not many other places don't have in stock. When the first Xbox Series X came out, they had it, with 15 to spare. They have the Switch 2 on hand in case you're wanting that product. Therefore, I can say Best Buy will carry a lot of hot products on hand (provided there's not a manufacturing shortage). In Summary, Best Buy is relatively competitive with pricing and will have many desirable products on hand. The people are nice and if you're in a rush they're pretty good about having short lines. However if you're looking for a niche product check online first as their variety isn't what it once was a few years ago.

It is quite obvious that stores w 'AI assistants' have them for one reason: to stop answering phone calls while pretending that they still take phone calls. Infuriating. Truly the bottom of the barrel in customer service. This is one example of the continued enshittification of buying and using products as a customer and a worker. Two words: corporate greed. Run your employees ragged by ensuring they are constantly stressed by hiring the fewest possible. From the customer: pass as much of the burden of your corporate malfeasance onto the customer as possible.
