He listened to the ideas we had for the design of the yard and gave some suggestions without being pushy. He met us at the store that sold the material and helped us choose the stone and color for the look we were trying to achieve. The work was done in a short amount of time without it being rushed through and in spite of the fact that we were newbie's at this and had ideas that didn't always work. We were so pleased with the end result that we immediately had the driveway and front walkway done as well as the area around the driveway pedestrian gate. Roger's reasonable price allowed us to complete that job as well and, like the backyard, was sorely needed. That job was also done in less than a week. Now, both areas look amazing and I can now relax since the sight of them no longer makes me crazy. Overall, Genesis Stoneworks was the right choice for us and we are very happy with the results. I asked Robert Palacios to stop by and give me a ballpark estimate on building a short decorative wall in my front yard. I showed him an example of the look I was trying to achieve, and he made several suggestions on how it could be better. The bid was very reasonable and within my budget. During the process of the job, I asked him to bid on installing an RV driveway made of pavers to match the decorative wall. This was going to be an improvement that I would put off until later when my cash flow would be better. The bid came in at such an attractive price that my wife and I decided to take advantage of the offer. Robert worked with me at every step to arrive at a final result that complemented my property with a mix of functionality and aesthetics. Everyone that walks by the house while we are in the yard feels compelled to say how great the paver work looks. Even though some of the features that were designed in after the original bid cost more, Robert held to his original bid. This goes counter to my experience with contractors who take advantage of every upgrade to make up for the original low bid. I did have some struggles with the process. I wanted a fire pit put in over the existing fire pit hole (I bought the house and the existing fire pit was ground level) and was told the dimensions of their proposed build and, it simply did not make sense. I tried to clarify with dimensions I thought did make sense, was told I was incorrect (politely). After quite a few emails, I was correct. The problem then came at installation, my correct measurements were not passed along. Now, human error happens. How people handle it should tell you if you want to do business together or not. Upon showing the massive email chain of me trying to explain it wasn't making sense, I was told this will be corrected, and done the right way, at no additional cost to me. I went from a fire pit 'kit' to a custom fire pit needing over 75 cuts to fit the dimensions of my existing hole. They executed on their word, and the product is flawless. Without a doubt, I recommend Paver Pros because of their follow through, that matters to me much more than an oversight anyone could truly make.

After consulting with other businesses, we decided to go with Dream Green Landscape. After we explain to Brandon exactly how we would like to use the backyard, he came up with a perfect configuration that combined pebble, concrete, and succulent plants. Brandon sent us all of the potential plants we could use, but we ultimately trusted his creative vision and allowed him full reign to pick whatever he thought would look best. Brandon has an impressive crew that came out and did the work alongside Brandon. They laid irrigation, put in the plants, the ground cover, and the concrete. The final product is amazing. We love our backyard, and with Brandon's efforts, it has been transformed into a wonderful serene environment that we enjoy spending time in. Brandon warranties all plants for 6 months, and when a few plants didn't look particularly healthy, he came out and replaced all four of them no questions asked. I've hired plenty of contractors in my day, but the real test of customer service is how well they treat you after you've parted with your money. Brandon was just as responsive and customer service oriented in replacing these plants as he was in getting our business in the first place. Several of my neighbors who are considering similar projects have viewed and loved the work Brandon did in our backyard. They are currently working with Brandon on their own projects. We've been so pleased we're considering now removing the grass in our front yard and having Brandon put together a design to replace our front grass with drought resistant landscaping.
