One day everything was gone again, but someone pointed out the day old rack, and insisted that they were not stale, so I went for it. I was able to pick out a dozen that I thought maybe worth a try and they were! These pictures do not show how huge these donuts are or how fresh they tasted a day after they were made! I did go back another time before they closed, but missed the opportunity to get the ones I really wanted and I settled for a couple of cake donuts, and a pumpkin pie flavored filled one. I can honestly say for someone who generally prefers a cake donut that I prefer their yeast ones. Also, I'm not generally a pumpkin pie fan, but it was absolutely amazing! I would say my favorites are the Bavarian cream, apple (pie?) and the even pumpkin pie the ones that I have tried. Everyone working there has been very friendly and helpful and they all do an excellent job and I'm so grateful to have someplace like this!

Note: There's a rooster who hangs out at the neighboring fields surrounding the shop (his name is Cletus), it just makes the trip to grab coffee and donuts a little more memorable. It was decent, but unfortunately it was only warm rather than hot, which was a bit disappointing. This appears to be a chain location, so I'm willing to give another location a try before forming a final opinion. For now, my suggestion for this location would be to focus a little more on customer engagement and make sure the coffee is served hotter.
