On a trip from SC to FL. I left my phone in this Yulee FL Mcdonalds on Sunday 8/2/26 around 8. Whoever the 3 young ladies were who had the shift were awesome. I had travelled several miles away from the store and was not very hopeful it would be there when I returned, but these children of God, raised obviously by the best Mom's on earth not only had the phone, but a smile and a hug for me who was almost in tears by that point. Service is awful. After trying to order at the kiosk the machine doesn't work. I had to go to the country and stand for 10 minutes all someone for help. Took another 5 minutes to get someone to come to the register. The fries still came out lukewarm and the quarter pounder was messy and also lukewarm. I ordered 1 kids meal with a cheeseburger, extra kids fry, no toy and a water. I got one of the fries and my burger was WET. As if literally dropped in liquid. Half the bun was soggy. This was the dirtiest McDonald's I have ever been in. All trash cans were overflowing inside and outside, and one interior trash can had trash on top. They were out of straws in the dispensers, out of tea in the front, the drink area was trashed. The back half of the restaurant smelled like a bathroom... because the bathroom was also trashed. It was clear that they had no one maintaining the cleanliness of this restaurant. If I hadn't already ordered my food before noticing the state of this McDonald's I would have immediately left. This was the size of my order. Nope I hadn't enjoyed any and they weren't in the bottom of my bag. Beside the shorting of my fries, I was charged $.10 for extra tartar sauce and it took forever to get my food. Yep I wasn't impressed with this spot and feel I should have been charged for a small fry as this is what it amounted to. I have never given a restaurant a 1 star rating and they don't even deserve that! The wait was unbelievable. The couple in front of us had been waiting for so long they requested their money back. When they asked the manager why it was taking so long, she replied in a sarcastic way, "well, I can't fill your order until the eggs are cooked now can I?" So narrow it down to the 3 individuals who are working that shift. Drive thru menu was not working and I was waiting for almost 10 minutes, so I drove up to the window to see what was going on. Waited another 5 minutes and an employee finally comes out to tell me to go back around and place my order since they can't take orders at the window. Even after telling them the situation, they said to go back around. I was the only car there. I asked for the employees name and they said they couldn't do give out names, even when another employee was wearing a name tag and proceeded to tell me "you're being petty asking for a name" and he walked away. I was really thirsty today returning from Jacksonville. .I stopped for my ices tea..unsweetened, a few pieces of lemon and 3 Splenda on t h e side was asked to order a sandwich on thevside..My order is complete. ..then asked again to order more. ..paid at the 1st window..went to pickup. .after a long wait..handed drink with no Splenda packets. showed my receipt...same as the order. went back and gave me a drink with 6 pieces of lemon, a cup filled to top with ice, very small amount of tea. my reason for asking for the Splenda on the side is that most of the McDonald's are using bowls of mystery sweetener at the drive through. They lost our order in the amount of time it took us to pay and drive to the second window. Even after we showed them our receipt that had a time stamp and date on it, they said our order didn't exist. I came here because we're on our way back to NC where obviously we live at. My Husband and I stopped, to nibble on something I usually get the same thing Medium Fries, 6 piece nuggets, and Medium sprite or Hi-C. The Food took a minute to get to us. The chicken sandwich my husband ordered was soggy and not cooked. His fries had excessive amount of Salt. Then before I left since I didn't eat my nuggets because they weren't cooked throughly I ordered me another Medium Fries because i'm addicted to fries. No ma'am, I asked for them lightly salted I guess lightly salted to them means under cooked. FUCK THIS PLACE! I dislike 100% this McDonald's never ever getting food from there again.
