This is my local Starbucks, so I've gone quite a few times. The quality isn't consistent. For every great drink I have, I'll get three really bad ones. My biggest complaint is that the lattes and macchiatos usually taste like straight-up milk. Just a cup of very lightly flavoured milk. The customer service is also lacking. They aren't very friendly here. They don't greet you or make eye contact. Every once in a while, there is a friendly employee, but they largely seem antisocial. read more

I this Starbucks! I have a gluten allergy and hesitate to try new things because, well, Starbucks is always busy. But today I came at a slower time so thought I'd try a new drink. The Pecan Crunch Latte sounded good. Ian took time to show me where I can find the information on the app so I can feel comfortable with my choices. He always greets everyone with a smile and high energy and I appreciate him taking the time to help me. He also suggested I try this drink iced and he was spot on. Give it a try yourself! Saying Goodbye. Yulee Starbucks has great service and is one of the best around. It's always nice to go home to your local Starbucks knowing it's better than the others. The only issue is that they have decided to get rid of dark roast coffee and opt for blond roast. They do not even have a pour over option. I have been going to Starbucks since the 90's and Yulee Starbucks since it opened about 12 years ago. My drink has always been a 16-20 oz dark roast black (nothing fancy) and I no longer have an option. Keep in mind this has nothing to do with service. we have tried for three years to try different drinks, order it different ways but this seems to be the most inconsistent Starbucks we have ever been at. cold foam is not cold foam it is watery froth. flavors aren't consistent. service is hit or miss. So Starbucks is not usually my first choice for coffee but tonight I wanted to sit and read the Newsleader. Well it was great I had the place all to myself excluding the staff. I got to pick the table I wanted with a great view of the parking lot. Ordered me a med.decaf along with the great lemon icing cake. By the way when you put your chip card in and after it rings you up the machine is silent unlike other chipee machines. Staff was pleasant and the music playing out of the ceiling was pleasant.If I Can't Win by the Cactus Blossoms was playing and reminded me of the Everly Brothers. The coffee hit the spot and the lemon cake was delicioso. A calm delightful Friday evening was just the ticket at Starbucks. As of the writing I am sharing the store with one other patron. For a company that prides itself on consistency this specific location is highly inconsistent. Sometimes they're very good and the order is very consistent with other locations and the food is warm throughout & coffee is flavorful and made as requested. Sometimes they're pretty bad and food is cold in the center and coffee tastes nothing like Starbucks. New options popping up nearby that I probably wouldn't try if this Starbucks was very good but I find myself looking forward to more options. read more

I usually don't review places like Starbucks, but in this case I need to highlight this one. This is my most visited Starbucks for two reasons; is on my way out of my home area and it has the most customers oriented employees of all of I have visited ( I have been in lots of Starbucks). Tiffany is the manager in the shift that I usually go. She's a hard-worker and service oriented manager and keeps her place well organized and productive. Tiffany and her team are very attentive, efficient and quick. There's another person named Jay who is very attentive and receive his customer with a smile and willingness to serve. If you are around Yulee, go and have the coffee of your preference. You'll be well served. read more

I'm a regular at this location but whoever runs this one hasn't a clue. More often than not the line is long at the drive thru and the staff is in the deep weeds. One big problem with ALL coffee shops that employ kids (teens & 20's) is that they are of a generation that drinks coffee flavored cream. When you ask for heavy cream, 2 or 3 tablespoons goes a long way. But kids put 3 inches of heavy cream. Sugar is another problem. Same idea tho. Most Starbucks get it. Not here. Monica gave me excellent customer service. She gave me a shot sized sample of the new Cold Brew Nitro in both cream and without cream. I would have chosen without if I hadn't had the sample, and I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much! Also, Monica handled a very rude lady (who was wrong!) and apologized to ME for the woman ranting! I find this to be a very good Starbucks location. The service is great and the staff a pleasure to speak to. I enjoy my every visit here. If you are one who must be in a near spotless enviroment, this one looks like a thousand customers have been there each hour of the day. The bathrooms are the same with soap stains in the sink and the floors a bit of a mess. They are nearly always stocked well with toiletries. There always seems to be a line the drive thru at this location. And the consistency of the drinks is hit or miss. The staff at times can be very polite and accommodating, but it really depends on who is working and if they are busy. When we do catch the drink mistakes they are very quick to rectify their errors, but it would be better if they could get a consistent crew working this location. read more

Yulee, Florida Starbucks again does not honor its store hours. Again, drive all the way to see they were closed, although their website says they're opened. I get there AGAIN, wait and someone comes out AGAIN to post a handwritten sign on the drive through menu - Closed until 7am (they normally open at 6am), with no reason. A line of customers. I am beginning to see this more and more at drive through business and restaurants. It appears America can't chew gum and walk at the same time and leadership has taken a back seat. Instead of trying to figure out how to keep the customers, it appears that these establishments believe we need them more than they need its customers. Some advice, OPEN UP at your posted hours. Know you menu. Be polite and friendly, instead of showing the customer you looked like you partied all night and don't care (comb your hair). It would be nice at THESE HIGH PRICES to have stirrers, toppers and why do you have to ask EVERY TIME for a napkin when you buy a sandwich? I am fed up, going on like after this review after more than decade of daily Starbucks coffees and buying on Amazon the Phillips 3200 or 4200 Super Automatic Coffee machine for $900. I stop in here most days and the service is so good that it warrants a 5 star review based on that. Now, with that said- I can tell when there are certain people there making my coffee and when they're not there and it's someone else. The morning shift is always spot on with my coffee- perfect every time and my food as well. The afternoon or evenings are often made with way less cream, but still good nonetheless. I've been here multiple times and not only have my drink orders been taken promptly, and the baristas friendly, but I've never had to ask them to redo a drink once! The Starbucks itself is very clean, as are most locations you'll find, and seems to be well managed as far as I can tell. This is a very convenient location also. It's centered on the main drag in Yulee in the plaza right next to Target and Wells Fargo Bank. I don't live in the Yulee area, but if I did this is the location I'd frequent. There's nothing worse than having to drive far out of your way to get a Starbucks, or any coffee for that matter. I can also vouch for the drive-thru being quick and efficient. I've been through it quite a few times with many cars in front of me and it never takes more than five or six minutes to get my drink. Thanks guys! read more

I love this Starbucks! We visit several times weekly in drive thru & inside on weekends. The baristas are always patient and helpful, offering to remake my drink if they think my expression is not up to their standard - even if it's a new flavor I haven't tried previously. One barista esp is exceptional- I have threatened to kidnap him for my own kitchen (joke). They have gotten to know my favs and often suggest new combinations they have invented or made for other guests. It's always clean and comfortable, and staff is young but they are nice and always seem to give their best. read more

They are friendly and the coffee/food is good but the cleanliness is less to be desired. The bathroom looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in months. The handicap bars, hand dryer, and small trash can were thick in dust. Imagine if a disabled person had to use those bars and then got all that dust and whatever else on their hands and now have to use those same hands to dull out toilet paper to wipe themselves. Gross!! The chairs in the dining area are gross and covered in dripped coffee. I would expect this at night but not first thing in the morning. This is bringing me tk the conclusion that the night crew aren't closing up properly and the manager isn't inspecting the store when he/she comes in before opening. read more

I was driving through the area and stayed down the road by Interstate 95. I was thrilled to see a Starbucks just a few miles away. So, being the coffee snob that I am, I drove five miles out of my way to get some good coffee--as opposed to hotel coffee. They had some decaf made, but I didn't know when that had been made and as not a lot of people drink decaf, there was a chance it had been sitting in the carafe for a while. They gladly did a pour over for me and I left a happy camper. They were also happy because there was a nice top in the jar!! read more

I wish I could do less than one star for this place I'm a barista myself. I know good coffee, and good espresso drinks. I try to give Starbucks a chance because when I need coffee it's convenient. This place is very hit or miss. I usually get an iced caramel macchiato. Kind of basic, but it's the only drink I've ever really liked from there. It seems as though every other time I go my drink tastes like they have literally watered the milk down. Or the espresso. I'm not sure what would make them want to water their drinks down for customers. This is a big corporation with money they can allocate to good quality milk, and espresso I'm sure. Maybe if there isn't money for good quality milk, and espresso then quit wasting it on those gaudy cups, and actually make good drinks for people. OR train your baristas better. I'm giving this business money for in turn goods. I gave them money expecting a nice espresso drink. Not an espresso drink that has water mixed in the milk. Come on guys do better. As an avid Sbux lover, I'm sad to say this store is disappointing at best. Of the few times I've been here, each time I've left vowing to never go back-- and each time I go back to give them another chance, the employees prove why I wanted to stay away in the first place. At today's visit, 6 employees were working, and only one person was in line in front of me. Instead of taking this man's order and moving on to mine, the woman at the cash register chatted with the man in front of me about life, etc for a solid 3 minutes before getting my order. She was in no rush at all, which is frustrating. I get it- everyone likes a personal experience- but taking care of customers should be their first priority. There was also another employee standing at the next cash register idly, but he didn't ask for my order or anything, so I can only hope he was a trainee. After my order was finally taken, I noticed that one employee, Kylie, was working furiously to get each drink made quickly, so thank you to Kylie for working hard! Maybe this store is sort of new, or maybe it's just the beach mentality that no one's in a hurry, but something needs to be done here. read more

So this is probably one of the worst Starbucks I have been to. For starters I have stopped going into said cafe due to the constant bickering back and forth between workers. I don't care what personal issues you have, or what you did over the weekend. Do they have a manager? If so, where are they? The workers at the counter just seem bored and like they don't want to be there. I have been several times in the past and my drinks are rarely correct. I have noticed that 1 "barista" (if we can call him that) is normally the one making them wrong. After numerous occasions I finally asked for his name. I won't call him out on here, let's just say he is usually the one on the bar. He is rude, impatient, and very messy. I as a customer don't want to see milk spilled everywhere, and I certainly don't want to see you steam the milk with a dirty steam wand! I just don't understand, almost every other Starbucks I have a pleasant experience at. I hope someone higher up sees this and something is done to fix the situation. read more
