I placed an order…read moretotaling $200.55 including the Maine taxes, the website Dutchie that they provided gave me a $190.00 discount for the products I ordered, bringing my total to $10.55 including taxes. When I went in to pick up this online order, I was expecting to pay the stated amount that was on my order confirmation email and that was also printed on the In-Store receipt that was stapled to my bag. The cashier began ringing up the items I ordered and she states the total as being over $100, I showed her multiple screenshots and screen-recordings as well as the order confirmation email and pointed out that the receipt on the bag she was holding says the total for the order is $10.55. She went on to say that I should have called before coming in... She pulled out what I would assume was a manager or higher up and told her what was happening and she also went on to say that that isn't right and they will not be honoring that price and can't do anything to meet in the middle. I let both of the store workers know that having a price different on the website and order confirmation and giving the consumer a different/higher price in store would be engaging in the act of baiting and switching, which is illegal and punishable in the state of Maine, violating the FTC Act which is punishable by law. The Federal Trade Commission has determined that "bait and switch" practices are unfair or deceptive trade practices and are unlawful under Section 5 (a) (1) of the Federal Trade Commission Act. Baiting and Switching "is achieved through a variety of practices designed to discourage the sale of the advertised product at the advertised price." (ftc.gov) "It is an unfair or deceptive trade practice to "switch" a customer to the higher priced product by refusing to sell or show the advertised product." (ftc.gov) "§13-116. Prohibited acts and practices It is a violation of this Article for an individual or a person subject to this Article to: [PL 2009, c. 362, Pt. B, §1 (NEW).] 2. Unfair or deceptive practice. Engage in any unfair or deceptive practice toward a person; [PL 2009, c. 362, Pt. B, §1 (NEW).]" (legislature.maine.gov) Be aware of this business as they do not hesitate to engage in fraudulent practices and break state and federal laws.

I renewed my med card there this year because it was nearby where I was going and it was convenient. It was $50 to renew my card which was slightly more than my regular place. It was so worth it though. They have excellent first time customer discounts and goods, three things to be precise! On top of that they gave me a bag of coupons, stickers and a list of other places that had first time buyer discounts. That was super helpful because I didn't even know about half of these other places, many of which I couldn't even find on Weed Maps. Everyone I have ever dealt with is so friendly and the budtenders are very knowledgeable. They don't try to rush you. They take their time making sure you get exactly what you need. They have a huge selection of everything you can imagine. Lastly they are open an hour later than most of the other dispensaries in the general vicinity. I highly recommend.
