I came to the store to get my macbook pro fixed and the owner did it super quick and did SO many things for me he absolutely didn't have to do. For one, he gave me a lower service charge than another store and he loaned me a loaner laptop to use in the meantime. Long and ironic story but I thought that I had somehow BROKE the loaner laptop TOO over the few days I had it? Like how is that even possible?? When I got to the store to pick up my repaired mac, I was scared and upset because I thought for one, HOW COULD I POSSIBLY HAVE BROKEN another laptop? I was really impressed with the service I received here. The LCD screen on my iPhone SE was very badly broken. Seveda was really honest in explaining what was wrong with it and helpful in deciding which repair to go with. The repair only took about an hour and I only paid $99; for reference everywhere else was quoting around $150. Before I took it in, I couldn't see the picture on 1/4 of my phone, the colors were bleeding, and the images would flicker. Now everything works wonderfully! He even through in a screen protector for being on yelp! There is also a warranty on their work which helped put me at ease when choosing a store. I dropped my iPhone 7 face down on concrete yesterday and shattered the glass all to hell. They fixed it in less than 2 hours for a reasonable price. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've gone to them for various issues and they always come through. I actually don't even live in the area anymore but I was in Beverly Hills today and figured I'd rather take my phone somewhere I know does good work for a good price than take a chance on somewhere new closer to home. After shattering the top of my iPhone 5's screen doing something that I don't quite remember, I decided to take it here to get it fixed and I'm glad that I did! The two brothers working the counter were friendly and got it done in an hour. What really impressed me, though, was that they sold me a screen protector for $19, then proved how solid it was by proceeding to smash my phone with a hammer. Not even a scratch! I don't even notice it now, but it must be made of rhino armor or something. On top of that, they threw in a USB cable and a phone case for free! The cost for the screen repair was $109, so with tax and the screen protector brought the total up to around $140. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that I've seen lower prices in other reviews, but given the extras thrown in and the fact that my phone is basically bulletproof now, I'd definitely say I got my money's worth. read more

So I brought my computer back to this store a couple weeks ago because my computer shut down and smoke started coming out of the keyboards. I brought my computer to an apple repair store and they told me the screen I had replaced at Group Micro less than a year ago was not an apple certified product and that the fused had blown. It would cost me $600 to replace the screen. Since I'm a student living on loans, I took my computer back to Group Micro to tell them that smoke had come out of my computer and to see what they could offer. I was shocked by what happened next. When I got my computer back a couple of hours later, the owners of Group Micro told me there was perfused water damage and my entire computer was ruined. They tried to tell me I had spilled water on it, and that the screen itself was fine. They told me it would cost $1000 to fix and immediately started pushing me to buy a used computer from them. They told me they could sell me a used computer for the same price like they were doing me a favor. I immediately took it back to the first computer store because they were the only ones who had seen the inside of my computer before. He said that the damage was not there before, and he had no idea what kind of business Group Micro was running but that now my macbook pro was completely damaged. I don't have much recourse now and my entire macbook pro is ruined. I still can't come to terms with the MALICIOUSNESS AND SHADINESS of this store. I will be reporting them to the BBB. I feel that they take advantage of desperate students who don't have the knowledge of computer repairs or the money and time to fix it at Apple. I usually love small stores and always try to support small businesses over large corporations. But they give small businesses a bad name. You have no recourse if bad things happen and are left standing out on the curb. I'm outraged that I recommended multiple friends to this store, I can only hope their products last. In fact he was insistent. 2)The people working there do not speak english as their native language. When I got my phone fixed here, after I left I noticed that the colors on the screen seemed to be a little off and it wasn't as bright (even with the brightness all the way up). I turned it off later that day and it wouldn't turn back on at all, even when I tried to force restart it.
