While the coffee was brewing, he was telling me about the espresso beans that they use. Legit, Italian espresso beans that were of high quality. The space is cute, serving not only great coffee--that's reasonably priced, btw-- but also fan faves like mochi donuts and other, Korean snack foods. There's good space inside so you can sit and enjoy your coffee and treats. It's just overall a nice, welcoming, and quality neighborhood cafe. What's not to love about?

But most of all, what made the experience SO amazing was the owner and the employee whom I believe was his son (?). He was SO kind and helpful, and insisted on providing many snacks as we sat and chatted, and offering a variety of samples. They have about 4 parking spots in the back (all taken) and there's a shopping complex next door. I parked in the shopping complex because there wasn't a sign warning coffee customers not to park there. If you're looking for a Starbucks alternative in Caldwell, this is the place.
