We wanted to open our view of the lake, as it was mostly blocked by an enormous tree. They were able to remove branches and trim others and still maintain the shape of the tree. They did a great job giving us a view of the lake and keeping our big beautiful tree. They also cleaned every single stick and leaf out of the yard, leaving no sign that the yard had been piled with branches while they worked. I highly recommend Worley Tree Service!

Curtis came out to our house to give us a bid, which was considerably lower than either of us expected; His crew showed up 2 days later on time and called when they were in the area. The foreman, Stephan, reviewed the scope of the job with us and he and his crew got to work immediately, cutting up a large elm that had fallen by our house and several other large trees that had been damaged in a storm. They were ALL extremely courteous and respectful, not to mention hard-working. They used safe working practices and were professional in all aspects of the job. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and am happy to recommend them to anyone! Thank you guys !

They have removed about 10 trees from my property that were dangerously close to the roof, and done a great job every time. This last tree was corned in a tight 8 foot space between my new AC, my neighbor's carport, and my house. Since we have lost around 10 big trees in my neighborhood with all this crazy weather, I was nervous about this one. They literally took the tall cedar elm down limb by limb, and completely shielded my neighbor's carport with tarps. Such hard workers! Thanks again, Curtis-C and your awesome services!

* Anita K. March 2016-Cannot say enough good things about…read moreRamos services. He is listed under landscaping but he contacted me through Thumbtack when I was looking to replace a fence that had blown down. About 5 months ago I had tried to get an estimate for my fence as it started to sag, but the fencing companies would either, not come out and look at it, would come out but never sent me a quote or just never answered my calls or emails. So now it is March 2016, and after a strong wind storm, the one side of my fence blew down. Sent a search through Thumbtack and Ramos was one of the ones to answer. Let me list why he was such a great choice for doing my fence: 1. I made an appointment for him to come to home at noon to get an estimate. I work 25 minutes from home so I gave myself 45 minutes to drive home to meet him. Well wouldn't you know they closed all the lanes of north bound I-35 for a funeral!!! So I was 40 minutes late driving to my house. And guess what...He waited for me to get there!!! 2. He looked and measured...and gave me an estimate on the spot. This was a solid quote...there was to be no changes to this at any time. He was hundreds of dollars cheaper that the cheapest estimate I had received months before and at this time. 3. He showed up the day and time he promised and got the fence up in one day. He did come back the next day to install the rest of the screws and to do my gate (This is a big deal because my neighbors have a dog that hates me, so I was glad to have the fence up in one day). 4. I asked to have the gate opener to be installed only visible from the back yard. (Two other fence people argued with me about this, said they know better or I won't like etc.). No arguments, said he would do it for me. I figured I would always have to go outside the backyard door to open the gate, but Ramos installed it in such a way, I can reach over the gate to open it from the front yard and no one else would even know the latch is there. I feel so much safer at night alone because of this! (I bought the latch myself ) 5. I had bought a money order to pay for both the right side of the fence and was having him do the left side also. He asked if he could come back to do the left side in a few days because the previous week's rain had put him behind on another job. The money order was for the whole job so I gave it to him that day 6. Sure enough, Ramos again came back on the day he promised and finished the left side of the fence. 7. Very nice and friendly and above all trustworthy. Let's you know when he's coming and what he will be doing! Highly recommend! Great experience and now I have a great looking fences and a new gate! Jose Ramos, of Ramos Services, is honest, hard working, and conscientious. He built a 20 foot long…read moreretaining wall, and extended a 4 inch diameter overflow drain from our rain water collection tank, in order to stop erosion on the slope below the pump house on our property. He came when scheduled, and finished the job quickly. His price for the work was fair. Ramos Services was able to do this job, despite not having worked with railroad tie retaining walls before. We would recommend Ramos Services without reservation. I should also note that Ramos Services also does fence repair and installation, as well as small stone and concrete work. Call him with the specifics of your job. He is honest enough to tell you if he can't do it! I took his business card and there are different numbers than those listed in Yelp. If the Yelp # doesn't work, try (512)961-4822 (office). His direct cell # is (512) 630-4020.

The other arborist would charge $200 for an in-person consultation; TTD said they'd do it for free. Both arborists ended up diagnosing the tree as dead from photos I texted. TTD's price to cut it down and haul it away was less than half the other arborists' bid, so naturally TTD got the job! A few hours later, they were on the scene, and the job was done in about 20 minutes, start to finish. Very professional and friendly. I had hoped I could use the stump as a kind of garden tabletop. Under my watchful eye, level in my hand, they tried their best to cut it exactly level. I think this is not a normal request. They indulged me and got it pretty close to a level tabletop. And the price can't be beat!
